Friendly Staff”

Price per nite is above Sgd108 fora small Standard Room & in an area NOT near to the Train Station (12 to 15mins)! Staff is extremely helpful & friendly!!! Be aware that the Hotel is located in a lane (Red-light area) BUT fortunately is nearer to the main road than deep towards end or middle of the lane, when the “entertainment” is! One can easily find local food stalls towards end of the lane & there are few good local breakfast cafes.

Value for money”

It's located in an alley and quite a distance away from the metro station. The alley has many Japanese restaurants/pubs. As Rose Boutique hotel has many branches, if you ever book a cab or pick up service, please ensure that you say that it is the Linsen branch. One driver I booked from a third party site went to the wrong branch and I had to cancel my day trip. There is one washing machine for everyone to use so it might take a while before your clothes get washed. There is a self-service laundromat across the road so you can get your clothes washed and dry if you can't wait. :) Kind of disappointed that our sheets were not changed on the days we requested for room cleaning. We are very sure of this as a tiny food stain on the sheets was not removed. The room is small - those with large luggage, you will not be able to fully open your luggage in the room. Nonetheless, I got the room at a reasonable price, the staff are friendly and the bed is comfy. Will come again if price is right

HUGE ROOM!”

I booked the Boutique Quadruple Room and it is perfect. You get a seriously big room! It has a bar (enough said). It is near many shops and it is just a 6 minute walk to the MRT (zhongshan) and 10 minutes to Q Square Mall. Will definitely book this hotel again for the price I got.

Room with different type of theme”

I paid about Rm280 for each night, and was very pleasantly surprised. ( booked it for the sake of pink room ) The room was clean, reasonably spacious, and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and nicely designed. Though there were no bathtub, but for the price, it is acceptable. The rain shower make up for not having a bathtub. Wi-Fi in room was included, and it is reasonably fast. Bed was clean and comfortable, just nice for a good night rest after a day's going places. As for location, I would say it is centrally located in the middle of Taipei City. 10-min walk to the nearest train station, and short taxi ride to Taipei Train Station. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Unique rooms, good location”

It is quite a new hotel with friendly staff, quick internet. Nice and unique rooms, each individual room has a different design. Close to shopping streets and restaurants. About 10-15 minutes drive to famous places such as Shi Lin Night Market and Xi Men Ding shopping area. Would definitely stay here again during our next visit. Great breakfasts too! :)

Good location”

Hotel is about 10min walk to a shopping mall and metro station.( one stop after the taipei station) There's lots of restaurants and eatery nearby. Convenient stores macdonald is about 5min walk too. Room is small but tidy. However, there isn't any other facilities and seems like it is located at the red light district. If you don't mind, it might be a good choice of hotel.

Clean, quiet, good value, good staff”

Very jice, immaculately clean room, quiet, and great staff, willing to accommodate me making date changes with no fuss or penalty. They also offer a unique, giant size family room sized 60 square meters, which i booked one night just for kicks (and the price was good). Apparently this giant room used to be some kind of restaurant. Lol Anyway, this place is on my list of good valye nice places worthy of reusing in the future.

Comfort stay”

Overall it was a nice place, very clean and run by polite and helpful counter staff. The most important is the security is good. We like this place cos each floor has only 3 rooms, very quiet and privacy. The only setback is the distance to the nearest MRT station is about 10 to 15 mins away.

Modern and Boutique Hotel”

The stay was good as the location is good ,near to the city shopping area. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff are good service , able to arrange my breakfast earlier as I am on a early fight. Good hotel with boutique design

Small hotel in a small side lane”

This is a kind of love hotel and close to all the nightlife bars. The hotel is small but the rooms are quite interesting and lovely done. Value for money if you look for great location to go out in the evening.

Extremely Valued for Money!!!”

Booked a standard room with breakfast at Agoda. 5-days old hotel (checked-in on 26 Dec 2013). The restaurant was not ready (if I remembered correctly), so we were given NT$150 Mac vouchers for each night stay (should have doubled since the room was for 2 staying, but not really an issue). Room is reasonably sized, but definitely clean. Came with free Wi-Fi, which is a BIG plus for us. Bathroom was without bathtub, but for the price, I am not demanding for one. However, the bathroom was well-designed, clean and spacious. Hotel was located along a back alley full of "Tea Club" (drinking place for lesbians) and "Gay Club" (for gays, obviously), and some normal drinking club. Not really any issue even with kids since hotel is at the beginning of the alley, so you can easily avoid those clubs. Anyway, during our 2 nights stay, we did not really see any actions along the alley, neither was it noisy since the hotel had good noise insulation. Location wise, it is not too bad. A 10-minute walk to the nearest train station, short taxi ride to Taipei Train Station, I would consider it rather centralized. This will be 1 hotel that we will definitely consider staying again when visiting Taipei. :)

Easy place to stay and convenient ”

Rooms are exactly as pictured. Staff a bit out to lunch and on their phones but the place is inexpensive and great for a night or two.

Value of Money”

This hotel does not close the any Metro station but they offered very attractive price that is why we booked it. Easy to find foods nearby.

Booked on discount, nice pricing and experience”

10 minutes walk from metro station. Quite clean. A bunch of Japanese restaurants nearby. The only thing is insufficient hydraulic pressure.
