Lovely family ran homestay”

The family who run the homestay couldn’t be any more accommodating and lovely. They genuinely couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. The homestay is in a perfect location, a short walk from the centre of Tam Coc

Wonderful and peaceful place”

I loved to stay here with my wife. We planned to stay for 2 nights but ended up being here three. The place is in a very good location, near all the facilities of tam coc. The garden is beautiful and the room was big and clean. You can rent a scooter or a bicycle for a very affordable price here too. The best part was the family. The hospitality of Than, his wife and son was more than great. I highly recommend this homestay if you are visiting Ninh Binh.

Fantastično”

Nice place to stay in Tam Coc. Nice hostes. Reasonable breakfast. Negative point: on the second night bed was not made and room not cleaned. Positive point: we could have a shower before going to the airport. even after checking out. They arranged us transportation from Tam Coc to Hanói. We pay for a 9 seats Van and we got a 15 seats van...that's the only very negative point that happened.

Amazing accommodation”

Tam Coc and its surroundings are just beautiful, but everything was made even better by the homestay we stayed at. The hosts are great people, both the indoor and the outdoor spaces are very clean and their cuisine is delicious. I couldn’t recommend it more, A+

Perfect stay near the lake”

We loved our stay here. Shame we were only staying one night. Large room great powerful shower, little fridge. Excellent for the money. Location is perfect right by the lake. Great options of restaurants nearby. Breakfast here was also very good. Good choice of Bahn mi’s, eggs or banana pancakes with juice and coffee.

Everything we wanted ”

We had a great stay at Thanh Dat Homestay, so much so that we stayed n extra night. Thanh & his family are very friendly & accomodating - nothing but good things to say about them & their hospitality. The location is within walking distance to the main Tam Coc strip with bars, restaurants, shops etc, but is nice and quiet. It is close to a few tourist attractions also. There is the option of hiring a scooter or bicycles for the day. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. We had a fan & an AC which we thought was great and have not yet had the luxury of having both in one room since being in SE Asia for a month. The homestay itself is very cute with the 6 rooms being situated around a courtyard filled with fruit trees. It has a really nice feel to it. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we are in Ninh Binh - thank you Thanh & family :)

Fantastic Homestay”

Very clean and the room we stayed in was newly renovated. The owner and his wife were super friendly. They also happen to speak Mandarin Chinese. We rented a scooter from the owner at a great price. He also assisted with buying our bus tickets to Hanoi. Excellent location to the main part of town. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing, picturesque setting”

Amazing stay, perfect location, great staff”

The hotel is small and quiet. Good value for money. Rooms and bathroom are really big and spacious. They are also clean and toiletries are included. Good breakfast and nice staff, always keen to help you. You can rent a bike o motorbike for an afordable price and visit all the spots around which are really close. Doubtless we would come back.

Great place, near top attraction”

the hotel is very beautiful, close to the tamcoc pier, the rooms are spacious and clean. Thanh and his family helped us a lot because on the last day we almost missed the car, they helped call the driver to get us back. we were very happy to stay at this place

Loved staying here. The entire family was really nice.....even the baby smiled 😁. Bungalows were cute & clean. Comfortable bed & hot water. Breakfast was good with several choices. They rent motorbikes & do laundry too. Thahn made us bus reservations to Cat Ba & took us down to catch the bus. Quiet at night & everything you'd want in a hotel. It was great. Thanks Thahn & family.

Great experience”

Excellent location and the homestay is so nice and quite. The room was clean,spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Thanh and his family give a fantastic and very helpful service. You can also rent a bike or a scooter for a good price. We would definitely come back. Absolutely recommended.

Amazing! ”

A fantastic 1 night stay here - the staff were all very helpful and friendly and helped with bus tickets and moped hire. The room is very well priced, with big en-suite, comfy bed, AC and a fan. The best room we’ve stayed in for the price by far. Thanks! 10/10

Ideal stay for Tam Coc”

Thanh Dat was ideal in its location, tranquility, access to bikes/motorbikes, and friendliness of the family who runs the place. We loved our stay there and took our time and relaxed a lot in the courtyard - very peaceful. Since it’s quite central, we were able to get to the Tam Coc boat rides in 3 minutes and the Mua Cave in 20 minutes by bike. The family is very willing and good at meeting your needs.

Great place, very calm, very clean and comfortable beds. Heating and A/C. The host is very helpful and inviting! We had a wonderful stay and wished we could have stayed longer. There are bikes and motorbikes available for a very reasonable fare.

A nice stay ”

Really sweet staff, a nice and tranquil area and breakfast was decent as well. It was a bit annoying that some dogs were barking at night and there was a loud karaoke-wedding nearby but this was by coincidence there and wasn’t the owners fault. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Homestay and Staff”

I planned on staying for one night and ended up staying 3! Beautiful homestay in Tam Coc and the staff makes sure your stay is perfect. They have suggestions for everything you may want to do and help with the booking of busses, tours, etc! Would def suggest to anyone and go back!

Perfect for a chilled out, quiet stay with lovely staff”

Thanh Dat homestay has a great location just off Tam Coc lake so it’s near to restaurants and agencies etc. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. But the real gems are the owners who were so warm and friendly. They made arranging transport to the national park easy as well as lending us bikes and just generally making us feel at home. With the power of google translate anything is possible! I would definitely stay again or recommend to a friend :)

Tranquille, clean, beautiful, and amazing staff”

Great location! Room is very clean and newly constructed. Breakfast is fantastic. Kind and very warm family living there. The owner had a baby born the night before and went very far out of the way to accommodate our specific needs. ❤️

A lovely stay!”

We stayed at Thanh Dat Homestay for 1 night whilst exploring Ninh Binh/Tam Coc. I don't know what I was expecting but first of all this area is BEAUTIFUL. I could have easily spent 3 or 4 nights exploring what the surrounding areas had to offer - even just riding the bike around your surrounded by gorgeous landscapes. Thanh was a wonderful host. He greeted us with tea, showed us local areas and even helped us to extend our room until 8pm (we were catching the night bus) for a little bit more money. For what you pay, the room is spotless and has everything you need for a couple of nights. Duvet was especially nice! If you need to rent a motorbike or borrow one of their bicycles that's all possible too. Location of the homestay is perfect and you can walk to the main strip in 2 mins. Thanks for an amazing stay guys.
