I've stayed at many 5 star resorts which were all fantastic, but this place was amazing. The owner picks you up from the airport herself and has amazing ideas behind the making of her hotel. She only hires local staff from the surrounding village giving them an opportunity to work. They are amazing people, friendly and they felt like friends. They always have transport available, for as long or short as you need them. As a solo female traveller, it erased any anxiety. The breakfasts and dinners were so delicious, fresh, organic, some of the best food I've ever tasted. I took bike rides around the village, walked, and was greeted by everyone with a hello. I also picked rice with the local farmers. It was an unforgettable experience. I will stay again in my next visit to Siem Reap because I love it there and because I want to support this wonderful, Eco-friendly resort.

My friend and I booked 1 night in this hotel but we ended up extending our stay for 4 more nights because of the excellent service provided. When arriving the staff welcome us with fresh lemonade and face towels, they gave us a map and a list of activities available in town and they explain us the services provided by the hotel and the tours available. Breakfast is very nice and fruit, snacks , coffee and tea are always provided at the lobby. The day we decided to wake up early (4:45am) to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat the receptionist in duty had our breakfast to take away nice and early before our departure. The tuk tulk driver (car number one) assigned to us was the best tuk tuk driver ever!!! Very honest, punctual, flexible, attentive and always with a big smile for us. One day I had a terrible headache and I got early to the hotel to take a nap, but before going to my room I told them I wasn´t feeling good. A couple of hours later they knocked my door to check on me and they brought me tea and a Cambodian night story to read before going to bed. Although the hotel is about 15min by tuck tuk away from the city centre they provide a free tuk tuk service from 18:00 to 22:00. Don´t even think about it, this hotel is the BEST option!!!

Let me start staying that the manager on duty and the whole staff made our stay a 5 star stay. Unfortunately I lost his card otherwise I would mention his name but the manager on duty from the beginning was so helpful, he was there on everything we needed, helped other staff process our credit card when they had trouble, helped us get transportation, arranged take-out breakfast when we will miss it due to an early tour, provided local tips, he truly was excellent. Now the bad part was that the beds and pillows where extremely hard and uncomfortable, I have slept in hard beds before but this one had like bumps and the pillows, they were just flat and really hard. Now I am not sure if this is typical in Cambodia because this is my first stay here but I found the pillows just too much, I had to ask for another pillow which they said they didn't have but then they provided a fluffier pillow next day which made things better. I would highly recommend the hotel to invest in better pillows

Isann is a little gem of a place in siem reap. It's so thoughtfully designed and our room was enormous! Our first night we got in after the restaurant closed and they went and bought us instant noodles and fruit from down the street and brought it to the room, which was so thoughtful and kind of saved us from a low blood sugar nightmare. The restaurant is fantastic and the pool was such a welcome treat after long days biking around the temples. The only thing is that it's a little ways out from the busy parts of town so we did have one tuk tuk driver get lost trying to get us back to the hotel, but it all for sorted. Wonderful place overall!!!!

stayed for 4d3n at dara reang sey hotel. the location is a bit remote and 2-3km away from pub street where you will be loitering at most of the time. no biggie, you can always take a tuk tuk to pub street (3usd). the staff are very friendly and helpful and are able to speak a reasonable amount of english. nice pool, although i didn't use it. complimentary wifi connection can be unstable at times. not much variety in food items for breakfast. hey, for the cheap rates that i am paying, this is more than what i expected. good choice if you don't mind the location being a bit far away from pub street, central market and old market.

this hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. Staff: good Breakfast: good Location: good Everything was definitely adequate. However, this hotel caters to Koreans. They come in numerous buses and make noise all night and morning. Our law school has been here 2 years in a row and this will be the last. We can find better and quieter for a lot less. Again, its ok. Would be much better without the loud, rude guests.

Without hesitation we found Angkor Countryside Boutique Resort to be one of the few top choices we happily would return to. Staff has this very special natural friendliness and attentiveness which is hard to be found and can't be compared to that trained politeness you'll find in most 4* or 5* resorts. This made our 3 night stay very special. Resort itself is just 4-5 newly build bungalows with veranda to sip a cool beer in the evening (about 30m**2 plus 20m**2 bathroom) arranged around a pool in a beautiful little garden. Spotlessly clean. Good aircon. No luxury but everything one needs. Didn't meet any mosquitos. Our favorite was the little elevated wooden terrace (a.k.a "the restaurant") were we had breakfast and dinner. Decent food, not extraordinary.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and the beautiful grounds of the hotel. Each room has a porch overlooking the pool. Service was fantastic. The staff was friendly. The room is large and has everything you could need. It was exactly as good as the photos look. The location is a good for going to Angkor Wat, but a little far from restaurants. Although it is only a short and cheap Tuk Tuk ride to anywhere. We recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel away from the hectic pub street area.
