Dirty, Dirty, Dirty”
Our room lacked any cleaning and was absolutely horrid. The age and misery of the hotel shows at every corner and the outside is just as bad. We were there overnight passing through visiting friends and family in the area and down the street there was a shooting at the bar half a block away with multiple rapid fire gunshots. very scary. The staff was very friendly but you could tell they were overworked and defeated with the overall state of the place and operations.

My husband and I went for a weekend getaway to meet one of my colleagues for a business/pleasure trip. We got a great rate on Agoda. The room was on the smaller side. We had a king size bed. There was a microwave and a coffee pot. The carpet throughout the hotel was pretty dirty. Clumps of mud on the floor going up the stairs. There was a room a few down from us that had a pile of dirty towels outside the door the entire weekend. (No housekeeping) We had to use the same towels all weekend. We asked the girl at the front desk for an I e bucket and she gave us One that was dirty as if someone had it filled with water to wipe down counters and just dumped it out. The continental breakfast was a good variety we came back to the hotel the second night with our arms full of stuff to have to go back down to the front desk because our keys would not work. Upon checking out Sunday morning the staff at the desk said we were nowhere in the system. Come to find out we had already been checked out therefore I couldn’t have a printed receipt for my business expenses for tax purposes. Thank goodness i have my email. If you just need somewhere to sleep as we did it’s okay! But the housekeeping staff needs to step it up! That’s was my biggest issue. Clean the carpeting, replace that seating area furniture and have your housekeepers clean the hotel and rooms.

Staff wasn't friendly, rooms were pretty dirty. Tried to charge me double for the week, until I fought hard to prove we already paid. Zero sound proof to rooms, you can hear everything. House keeping wakes you up at 7 or 8 am. No thanks
