Sleepwalker was beautiful, clean, and had all the amenities we could have asked for. After staying at a few other hostels in Thailand, we were really impressed with how luxurious it felt to stay here. The family that owns it was also very kind and helpful (we had been looking forward to visiting a specific restaurant and as we were heading out, they asked us where we were going. They told us the restaurant was only open for lunch and sent us instead to a really lovely family run spot where we had a delicious meal and even set us up with a very affordable taxi!). If we are back in Chiang Mai, we will definitely come here again!

The poshtel is FANTASTIC: centrally located, spotlessly clean, impressive decor. And what I love the most is the staffs, they are incredibly adorable and helpful. I couldn't ask for more :) Definitely come back next time.

A nice little hostel, good for resting, near to the Sunday walking street. Not the best for meeting people, no bar. The room was lovely. I booked a double but they gave me a twin as the toilet was broken. I'd say if you're looking to party a little but stay in the North East of the old city. Better for people travelling together, as opposed to solo travellers. Air con was great, shower was luke warm, but to be fair its too hot anyway for hot showers. Staff were nice, English was fine. Overall a pleasant hostel.

Great location close to Wat Phra Sing. Our room was a little noisy as it was directly above the common area and directly at the top of the first flight of stairs. The doors are made of frosted glass so sleep masks are important as the hallway lights are always on. The staff was great and super helpful picking us up from the airport for 200baht and arranging transfer back to the airport for us as well.

The place is spanking new, very clean and has really nice finishing. The bedding and mattress were great. You get bottled water, fresh towels and basic toiletries pack daily. There’s a simple snack station at the lobby all day. You could easily walk around to stores and the main walking street for Sunday night market. We had the quadruple room and the only downside I could think of is that those on the top pods may have a bit of trouble to go up and down. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay!

Returned a year later :)”
I stayed here for a couple of days last year and really enjoyed it. The beds are very comfortable. I returned this year and was given an upgrade to my own room with private bath. So kind and appreciated! The staff are very kind and helpful. Only downside was I did laundry with them and was told it would be 60 baht but when I went to pick it up it was now 190 baht. That is very expensive (more than two big loads of laundry where I live in Canada) and this was a tiny load (one standard grocery bag full). The place is clean, modern, great decor, and has bread, tea, and bananas for free breakfast.

The hostel room is so spacious, clean and neat, the wash rooms are attached in the room and separated in male and female and basic toiletries are provided. The location is just beside the Wat Phra Sighn and there was the big parade during songkra festival. The boss and staff are friendly and kind, they even provide the free drink, bread and fruit for the guest whole day. Overall satisfied!!

Very modern very small room”
Room was very small barely bigger than bed. The bathroom sink is in the room and the toilet and shower behind two closet doors in room. Shower has enough space but can barely shut toilet door when in use. Bed was large and comfortable and room had a nice sized window. Hostel is a nice modern place with good decor and staff are very friendly and helpful. Coffee in cafe downstairs is great. Location is excellent.

1. We stayed in a four beds room. The ladder to the upper beds was kinda scary, but the beds are awesome. Each of us got curtains and a small cabinet. 2. It’s just right next to the famous temples. Every one of them is within 20 mins. Some are even within 5 mins. 3. Super convenient to get food. Two 711 within 3 mins walk. 4. The staff are alright. 5. DONT do your laundry there. It’s ripped off. It cost 100 for my friend to do laundry that was less than 1 Kg, but it said “60 for 1 kg clothes”

GREAT STAY ”
The hostel was great with interesting interior deco. Staffs are friendly although some of them are not oo good in English thus make communication a little difficult, but they are very helpful. Staying in the bunk bed private room, room are bigger than my expectation, clean and with a right size of window. Beds are comfortable. The only thing is the bathroom door design is a little odd as the water will definitely split out during shower but can still wipe off with the floor towel provided. Not really a big issue.

I was here for 3 nights before i moved into my apartment and you are right in the mix with location, very stylish, modern and above all comfortable, great little coffee shop downstairs and complimentary breakfast items before 11am. The staff could not be nicer, 5 stars is honestly not enough ! Thank-You for a great start to my trip.

Staying at the quadruple room, beds are comfortable, air cond is strong, bathroom is spacious. The staircase to the upper bed is a bit difficult to up and down, there should be a better design to reach upper bed. Except the staircase, Nothing to complaint, we love this place !!!!!
