Gutted”
From the moment we booked this apartment it was a disgrace I had to chase up emails regarding additional deposits and instructions to enter the apartment 5 or 6 times weeks days then hours before arriving in london. Each time i was promised it would arrive minutes after the phone call. Once all that was sorted i arrived at the apartment....wow Absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website Furniture was old, scratched, broken or missing Curtains/blinds were ripped and bent Bin lid was attached to bin Crockery was dirty Shower head holder was in pieces Kettle was missing In fairness we did get a kettle on 2nd day after I called to complain about kettle. Maintenance man delivered a frying pan first though. Not sure how i was meant to make a cuppa with that Our main issue was the total difference it looked from the pictures on the internet. They should not be allowed to disillusion customers like this. I called to complain like i said but nothing was rectified....no offer of moving rooms etc To top it all off next to the apartment block is a huge building site. This is not a new site. We should have been warned at least. Although we didnt let it ruin our break in london we were definitely not happy about it. All in all never book a room with smart city apartments

G A Webber 7th to 15th June 2016”
The Apartment was dirty especially the cooking facilities and all the cutlery. I bought cleaning equipment and products and spent time washing up and cleaning things. The sofa was soiled and uninviting. The bathroom was a trap for the unwary and I had my first fall in a bath. I was hurt and when I asked to report the fall I was informed that there was no accident book on the premises. An experience and one not to be repeated.

Only one staff member was helpful...robert?”
Location is very good, and the rooms are quite good too.
Book this only if you have about five days advanced notice and don't arrive late because both will over tax the very limited capabilities of the managers. If you do, you might end up standing on the cold street for 30min before someone bothers to open the door. Also, don't bother calling the emergency number provided because no one will answer it.

Horrible Customer Service”
These guys do not understand hospitality. I doubt they have ever stayed at a hotel or eaten at a restaurant. They do not know how to treat guests nor present themselves. The condition of the apartment is shoddy beyond belief and has seen much better days. They only care about money and that is it. Awful. Stayed with them three times in 2 years and never again.

Great apartment in poor area”
Booked this for a night instead of a hotel to go out in Old Street, the very first issue we had was getting through to the letting agent on either numbers provided, took us approximately 6 hours of continual calling with a booking agent to get anything sorted. Although we were advised by the letting agent that our booking company 'Agoda' failed to give him our contact details despite us telling them to. Another issue we had was finding the apartment, as it was in a unusual numbering order so we had to liaise with the letting agent to find it. Aside from that the apartment was amazing, huge rooms (one with en suite) and massive living room area, with free wi-fi. The letting agent was really nice guy and catered for all of our needs. However, word of warning the apartment is based in a party district of London. If you want to get some sleep I would not recommend it. we had people shouting and screaming most of the night and morning, glass being smashed on the street, and loud base being played till around 7 am, followed by delivery trucks slamming doors and shutters. Another caution to bear in mind is you have to book these things at least a day in advance and get in touch with the letting agent to arrange the key exchange. This was only advised after the money was charged on the website and we were told that this was a non-refundable booking.

Just aside a big road and some enlighten offices”
standing, cleaness
less than 10 minutes walk from old street metro station, this nice apartment hotel is located in a not so nice building. With 2 bedrooms and a large living room + kitchen for myself, I was more than comfortable for a night. Nevertheless, I didn't achieve to set hot water to take a bath (luckily there was another show room). But the worst is that without real curtains, I have been enlighten by the offices in front of the building. I've been also able to count cars from the big road downstairs to get asleep... Obviously not that efficient as counting sheeps.

Noisy neighbourhood”
Spacious apartments.
The industrial area next door is very noisy starting from 7am. The absence of a staff on site makes things rather complicated and is a major inconvenience.
