“Near the station, ok for the price range”
Near the station, 6min walk from hakata subway airport line exit 18, if you have luggage there’s an elevator at exit 15,but you have to cross the street to get to the hotel. lobby is clean and smells nice the days i was checked in( doesn’t have a strong scent of cigarettes which most business hotels seems to have) My room is smaller compared to APA or Toyoko, I have front open luggage so I have a bit of space, I think its going to be a challenge if you have a book type. Pillows are so so, it’s the type where one side has beads I think. I got two in my room so i was able to sleep ok (I need 2 so I was happy I didn’t have to ask for one more 🤣) i did receive daily change of towels even though it was indicated that its given only on first day and by request for the rest of your stay (if staying for more than a day) 🫶🏻 amenities(brush, coffee, sleepwear) are in each floor Coin laundry has a separate washer and dryer, was ok anyways. lot of lint in the dryer though, not sure if it has been cleaned prior to me using it. no usb ports, TV allows screen mirroring atleast, has tv channels and apps like Netflix etc, didn’t use it though. Checkout is at 11am, late checkout is until 12pm for 1000 yen during my stay, full day payment if beyond noon. On my last day I had internet connection issues, I suspect it’s turned off during clean up time, it was back around 1pm. I had to use my data for work. I availed of daily breakfast, it was a standard japanese breakfast. Rice curry sausage fish tamagoyaki, meat is gyudon beef and I think pork for the days I stayed, there’s udon, miso soup, also bread if you dont want a heavy breakfast. Coffee is from a drink dispenser, also has soda, juice and there’s also small slices of cake, fruit cuts, salad. Not much variety during my stay, its the same everyday. 7eleven and lawson is near, plus a couple of ramen/udon/soba shops around, they open around 11am and mostly packed, I see a lot of people lining up around lunch/dinner. Lots of food options in hakata station too. Location is perfect for going around with the station near, there’s a grocery store at the basement floor of the bus terminal in hakata station which sells bento and other cooked foods if you want to eat in your hotel room, microwave is in the hotel reception area so I microwaved my food in the grocery store before going back 😅 Receptionists are polite and helpful. Language barrier can be a bit difficult at times, but understandable and I like dealing with Japanese staff better. they use online translator so communicating in english was atleast smooth plus I have very limited japanese skills anyways 😅 Cargo pass is nice too, I didn’t have to drag my luggage to the airport. I had a good stay. Facilities could be better. Great staff (receptionists, cleaning staff as well as the kitchen staff) thank you for your hard work. I hope to stay again when I’m back.
