Few walks away from Sakuragawa St. A km away to dotonbori/shinsaibashi. If you dont mind walking then you can definitely do so, i suggest walking on the side of dotonbori river for the view. But if not, take the train.

Exceptional”
The staffs were very accommodating. Breakfast were good. There’s a nearby train station but you can’t ride if you’re using the JR pass, the nearest station for JR pass was about 900m.

Clean, Comfortable, Best Location (Sakuragawa Station which is next from Namba Station), Friendly Staff, Have free breakfast There are 24hrs. restaurants around the hotel and also combini (Lawson) Impressive and make us smile like hotel's name :D

Great hotel with great location”
The hotel location is considered good, considering the price that we pay and it covers breakfast. It is within walking distance from the main shopping area and is next to the Sakura subway (if I do not remember wrongly). The staff is very friendly. The room is small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread isn’t that fantastic but the taste is superb, according to my friend. I’ll definitely recommend that place to anyone who is considering going to Osaka for holiday.

clean, convenient, and value for money hotel”
The hotel is conveniently located near Sakuragawa station, which is close to the Minami center Namba. The room was quite new and very clean, which is very important to me. They served a variety of local food for breakfast, and there were Asahi newspaper and manga books in the lobby for those who like to read. What I like the best is their service, very typical Japanese-like professional. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there very much.

price: In relation to other hotels where we were hosted the price is very high and unjustified. Location: The hotel is located in the NAMBA area, a 2-minute walk from SAKURAGAWA Train Station. Around the hotel are restaurants and a very large supermarket. Only one stop from NABA train station, Osaka's main railway station, is a central location in Osaka. The hotel area is very nice for walking and impression. The room, the cleanliness and the facilities: clean and shiny. In the cramped little room, the double bed is very small and uncomfortable. Very small bathroom and shower. It is amazing to see the design of the tiny shower that contains a bathtub, a large toilet and a sink. On the second floor is an ice and ironing stand. The hotel staff: polite but not effective. When I booked the room on the Internet, I asked for directions to the hotel and the staff did not bother to respond to my call. As a result, and despite the proximity of the place to the train station, we found the place after half an hour of running around.

Location”
Good location . Just 1 station by subway using Hanshin ralway from Osaka Namba Station to Sakuwagara Station. The hotel staff are approachable and freliendly. Our room was very small but it was clean. Its a good place to stay when your a traveller.

I enjoyed my stay at Smile Hotel Namba. Room size was a little bigger than the other hotels I have stayed in Japan. They have their own public bath too. Right across from autobacs for the car enthusiast.

Osaka is definitely a good place for good food”
The hotel is quite nice in terms of its low price yet it includs the breakfast. It's quite close to the JR station but on the other hand relative far to the main Namba shopping area. The room is small. Overall it's a good hotel I'd recommend to friends.

a quite neighborhood ”
room is extremely small. we ve stayed in smile hotel Seta before and the room was bigger there. Easy access from central Osaka. from midosuji line Namba station transfer to Sakuragawa station. If carrying big luggage ,do not exit from Sakuragawa station. there is only stairs there. instead, from Sakuragawa look for entry to Hanshin railway station. walk across to the hall opposite from the ticket machines and look for exit 2. there is elevator there and the hotel ia just a short walk to the right

good price for stay”
It was good and it is very to travel to another town just took the hanshin train line to namba and then you can change to where you want to go. If you are planning to go to Kobe then no need to change just take the train in front of the hotel.

Convenient location, clean”
The hotel is immediately outside the Sakuragawa JR and Sennichimae lines, making it accessible. The restaurants and shopping places in Namba are 1-2 stops away although you can opt for a 15-20 min walk, as well. Free wifi and coffee are provided at the lobby. The rooms are generally clean. The bathroom was a bit smaller (which we didn't think possible) than that of other comparable hotels that we booked but overall the room was good enough for us as we spent most days out of the hotel, anyway.

Great location but small rooms”
i love everything about this hotel. very convenient,nearby sakuragawa stations. located at downtown area,quiet and safe. standard Japanese hotel room, the toilet very small but they provide bidet toilet seat.very clean. delicious breakfast,eat their mash potatoes and free flow coffee. they only provide wifi at lobby. no internet access in room. im surely gonna stay here again.

The hotel is clean but expensive for what it is. ”
The stay was good but the rooms are tiny and the Internet is janky and doesn't work half of the time. This makes it difficult to plan things out for your day and look stuff up. I think for the money you can spend ten extra dollars a night and stay somewhere better. If you don't have the ten dollars and you don't mind walking 20 minutes to Namba then you will be satisfied with this hotel. Not alot of great restaurants around here either. But there is a mall behind it with a great grocery store and full wine selection!!
