Great location for a weekend staycay”
The CBD is nice and quiet during weekends, so this hotel is ideal if you don't want to deal with crowds. Love the high ceiling of the hotel room, which made the room feel so spacious. Lots of complimentary snacks and drinks in the minibar as well. The rooftop pool and bar are gorgeous and perfect for unwinding in the evening. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance at Telok Ayer and Club Street, or you can just hop downstairs to Lau Pa Sat for hawker food if you prefer. The buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant Xperience is a good-sized spread and is offered until 11am on weekends – perfect for late risers.

Clean, Comfortable & Great Location”
Staff are friendly and professional. Rooms including bathroom, beds and linen were very clean, bed was super comfortable and location was great being next to the Telok Ayer Market. and walking distance to Downtown Centre. Highly Recommend and will definitely be staying there again when back in Singapore

Was in Singapore with my wife for a few days- Perfect location Downtown, walking distance to all major attractions, great rooftop pool, and the rooms are really comfortable. Huge bonus was the Hawker food stands right outside the building.

Checked in seamlessly. Clean room and comfy bed. We enjoyed our two night stay at the hotel. Lau Pa Sat is literally just beside if you’re hungry. The train station is nearby too!

Strategically located”
It’s strategically located in CBD area and you are able to find Lau Pa Sat right beside the hotel. Stayed 3 days 2 nights from 30 December 2020 to 1st January 2021. However, during the 2nd day called twice for housekeeping and they didn’t make the bed. Not too sure why. Ordered in room dining nasi goreng and steak. Nasi goreng was bland though no taste at all. Ala carte breakfast was so so. Overall stay is okay just need to pre book gym and swimming pool.

One of the Best Boutique Hotels”
Firstly , the customer service was so accomodating by allowing my partner to check in despite the booking under my name . Furthermore , they accomodated our requests plus they allowed us for early check-in and late check-out. Food stalls are nearby ( 1 min walk to Lau Pa Sat ) and many more . I'll return for the vip king room .

Stayed at So Sofitel for its location to the business district. Enjoyed the roof top pool and bar area outside of work and Satay Street across the road after work hours. Staff were outstanding, seriously impressive.

Impressive and unique hotel”
Stayed in the SO Lofty King Room, the bathtub that is huge enough to fit a couple side by side is already luxurious, coupled with the controls from iPad made the experience fuss free (and lazy). Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent service however there are some downs”
The hotel itself was in an excellent location right by Lau Pa Sat with excellent food choices throughout the day, the staff were friendly and the rooftop pool was amazing, however the hotel cleanliness could be improved. For a 5-star hotel, the bed and pillow quality was horrible! The bed sunk in so deep when you laid in it, it felt like the cheapest bed in the world and the dent of you laying In the bed stayed there even after you got out of it and the pillows were the worst, they felt like you were sleeping on nothing, the mattress and pillows also had this old musty smell that bothered me throughout the whole trip, I think it’s about time they upgrade the mattress and pillows as I would give a zero rating if I could for only the mattress and pillows. The other thing that was a zero were the room towels and pool towels they had this disgusting musty smell on them that smelled like they weren’t washed properly they smelled like someone’s sweat and it was disgusting literally every single towel I used on my 3 day stay smelled that way, and the room and hallways also have this musty damp smell due to there being no air ventilation through the whole hotel. The bathtub was excellent and so was the shower water pressure. Apart from the mattress, pillows and towels which were horrible. Everything else was ok.
