Probably the most well decorated hotel in Taichung”
The whole ground floor is an instagram heaven. The room was well equipped and very clean as well (tho I think the bidet function was spoiled). The location was a walkable distance to the Taichung Main Station and you can probably walk to the nearby bus stops to get to attractions. Check in process was really smooth and the staffs were very helpful! Would come back again :D

Just ended my 3d2n stay, and I wish I could stay longer! Impressive architecture and design. Very different vibes in the day and night - you got light shining through the roof preparing you to start the day right, and classy feels at night. The room was cosy, thick blinds to prevent sunlight from penetrating at any point of the day I couldn’t tell it was 11am in the morning if I hadn’t open my door. The hot toilet bowl came in handy during winter, and shampoo smelt nice. Exquisite room and classy room design. Love the garden and nature vibes as well! Free flow of biscuits and water was thoughtful. Friendly and helpful receptionists provided many recommendations on tourists attractions. Will be back!

Booked a standard double but I got a much more spacious room than expected, with a bathtub and a living room area ☺️ From the fire escape plan, I think they renovated and combined two rooms into one big one. Toothbrush shampoo body wash is provided. Water dispenser with hot and cold water is available beside the lift. Some tea bags are available at the lobby. yi zhong night market is about ten min walk away. recommend ear plugs if you are very sensitive to noise or in case of loud neighbors.

Nice architecture and artistic building”
I travelled with my 1.5yrs old and I had to pay an extra fee upon check-in. Hotel is conveniently located near a 7/11. The room is not big but for the price, it is good. They do not provide bottles water or kettle, there is a water dispenser machine near the lift in every floor, you have to refill your water there which is also ok cos you have no limits and save hassle of boiling water. I didnt like the shampoo and body wash they provided. Else, all ok.

Got a shock when we saw the dilapidated look from outside...but the inside was nicely renovated, modern and clean...Room a bit tight for the 18m square but sufficient for our overnight stay..Breakfast was nice and suffient for a day start..delivered to the room with coffee n fruits n sandwich

Best thing - beds and pillows are awesome. Location - 10 minutes walk to taichung railway station. I walk everywhere, so depends if you are ok with walking. Cleanliness- Very well kept and clean. Style - Industrial + minimalist. Staff - very friendly and approachable.

A very good hotel, but it is right next to a KTV where people were singing right through the night till the early hours of the morning, for 3 nights in a row. Nobody thought to call the police and complained about the noise pollution.

Very unique and stylish hotel”
Located near Taichung Train Station, the room rate is not expensive on weekdays. The room has a black interior and a mirror on the door. The TV in the room is Netflix. The overall design is beautiful, and there is a garden in the atrium. Breakfast is delivered to the room, but the sound insulation is really bad. If you are on a low floor, you can hear the sound of the street very clearly, which affects sleep. For light sleepers, it is recommended to wear earplugs. Apart from these, this hotel is very distinctive. People who like design hotels are recommended to stay and try. It is also suitable for couples.

Tucked away off the main road is this hidden gem of a hotel. Modern design, no frills but comfortable. Very friendly staff too. Won't hesitate to recommend.

Superb design but not without flaws”
The design and vibe is probably among the best. Staff was helpful and the 24-hour free coffee/ choco was also great. Enjoyed my stay a lot generally. However, there was no separate shower area from the bathtub so it could get a bit wet and messy. Breakfast was included in my purchase but I was not informed of the arrangements upon check-in. Got a call after 9pm asking what I’d prefer for breakfast the next morning, which wasn’t too pleasant as I was trying to rest and wasn’t expecting the phone to ring… Solo travellers might also want to look into the neighbourhood first before booking.

I didn't encounter many mosquitoes as rumored. I rented two mosquito repellents and didn't see a single mosquito. The staff service was good, and the hotel's simple and neat design was great. The small room also had a sofa, which was nice. It would be better if there was cable TV. The only thing is that the sound insulation could be improved a bit. Maybe it's quieter on weekdays, but overall it didn't affect my sleep.
