Our flight arrived after 10pm and we had a 10 hour layover so this was the perfect location.

Quite literally an airport hotel, this Sofitel property adjoins Terminal 5 at Heathrow and makes for the perfect stopover hotel. The hotel is linked to the Heathrow Express rail service, connecting you to downtown London in less than 30 minutes. This hotel would also suit business travelers, with several corporate offices within a 10 kilometer radius. With 45 meeting rooms, the hotel has the highest capacity to host events in the Heathrow area and finding one to match your needs will never be a problem. The hotel also includes 400 parking spaces, the largest in the area. Guests can enjoy French and other international cuisine at the two restaurants on-site and likewise enjoy the 24-hour room service menu for those late night hunger pangs. Be sure to enjoy High Tea at Tea 5, which specializes in the fine art of brewing and also carries an excellent selection of pastries, cakes, and light dishes. For a fine end to a tiring trip, a jaunt to the spa is a must to relax as well as rejuvenate.

Sofitel London heathrow”
The Sofitel Heathrow is an elegant and refined experience.Only moments from stepping through the arrival gates one can be strolling down the walkway to the hotel without having to go outside. This is important especially in winter and with the recent snow storms in London. The rooms are very comfortable and elegant. It is all round a very enjoyable experience and if you want a quick and cheap alternative to the hotel food or have any pharmacy needs or a new book - its all conveniently located with a quick stroll back over to Terminal 5.
Superb location”
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Although close to Heathrow not a sound can be heard. it is so close to Windsor and Eton you can visit both if you have a little time before flights. The hotel staff are so accommodating and for a small fee arrange their private car transport to any highlights you wish to visit. It definitely is a better location than right in London where there are people on mass. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The rooms and beds are fantastic. Thank you Sofitel!
lovely, clean hotel”
Sofitel London Heathrow is a great hotel, especially when you need to catch a flight the next day. It has direct access to Terminal 5 in the hotel so it is very convenient. the rooms itself have crisp linen and are very clean. i would definitely stay here again if i have an early morning flight.
Perfect hotel for stopover at Heathrow Airport”
the sofitel was very easy to find after arriving at terminal 5 heathrow airport, just a short internal walk to the right after exiting the terminal. check in was efficient and speedy and the staff very friendly. the room itself was lovely, very clean, new and very quiet. its size was also a pleasant surprise after staying in other hotels in london! i would definitely stay here again if catching an early flight the next day, beats getting up at an unearthly hour and trying to brave the underground or taxis.
Stay at Heathrow Sofitel”
This was my second stay at the Sofitel at Heathrow. Fist of all, it is really convenient for travelers who do not want to take the night flight to London yet have a connection to make in the morning. You'll wake up far more rested. For breakfast, the scrambled eggs were fabulous(!), but the miso soup was un-recognizable. For the most part, I really enjoyed breakfast -- save for the worker who sneezed into his hand and then picked up the dish towel with the same hand. I'll take off points for that one. The room was very comfortable, but for some reason the quality control was off and my towels were dirty. My first stay was fantastic, however, so I shall return hoping that the first stay was more indicative of a future stay.
Fabulous location and great service with a smile”
i always book myself into the sofitel london heathrow. no free shuttle (not that i am even aware of) will induce me to book into any of the other hotels at the airport. it is fabulous..the rooms are lovely, spacious and tv channels great.. i will return, as i always have.
perfect location for stop over”
ideal location after arriving at paddington and stopping over in london before a heathrow flight. easy to find the hotel, quick and efficient check in. arrived nye quite late and so ordered room service, food was very good and arrived promptly. room comfortable and spacious exactly what you expect from a sofitel hotel. wake up call and quick and easy check out.
Ideal location for a quick visit”
i had a one night stay in london between flights from tanzania to london, london to los angeles. this hotel is lovely and the location couldn't be more simple being right at london heathrow. i arrived extremely early in the morning and was delighted to check in without delay. (i had sent an email ahead of time giving them a heads-up but wasn't sure if it would hold any weight.) the concierge was very helpful in directing me to the local bus took me to windsor for a few hours. the hotel itself is very nice and extremely modern. i was amazed at how quiet my room was, too, with it being so close to the airport. agoda got me such a great rate that i wish i'd been able to stay another night!
Gorgeous Hotel with a warm and friendly attitude”
We were upgraded when we walked in the door with a smile, you have been picked as a special customer. This is the most beautiful hotel I have seen in a long time often 5 star properties can be stuffy with an " attitude" this hotel is warm and inviting. Perfect for an overnight stay in Heathrow located in terminal 5. I loved this hotel. The English breakfast buffet which was complimentary with our room was fabulous. Buffet does not do it justice, warm fresh pastries every type of sausage, eggs, fresh fruits, fresh squeezed juice and anything you could want for breakfast. Coffees, teas.. Wow. This is by far one of my favorite hotels ever. Forget going into London have amino vacation here at the lovely spa wake up refreshed and energized for your long trip home.i live in Alaska and after a busy vacation in Spain an overnight here before the long journey home was a fantastic idea. This hotel gets a 10+ from me.
Very Convenient for Early Flights from Terminal 5”
I have stayed at this hotel a few times, always after the long flight from home in So. California and a short layover before continuing my trip. This time I was traveling with my adult daughter and we had a 17 hour layover until our next flight to Istanbul. What I especially like about staying here is that the hotel is connected to Terminal 5 and it is easy to check in for your upcoming flight without having to go outside. Also, when directly entering the Terminal from the hotel, you are close to a Mark's & Spencer food shop for great eats (sandwiches, salads, etc.) to take to your room. Located nearby is the entrance to the Underground (Picadilly Line) and the Heathrow Express, in the event that you have time to go into London. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are quiet and relatively roomy. My daughter and I shared a Twin with a coffee/tea maker and a decent flat-screen TV. My only, and ongoing complaint about the hotel is that the elevators are too few and too slow.
Exceptional”
PLEASE NOTE THAT, ON THIS OCCASION, I WAS UNABLE TO TRAVEL ON THE 13TH AUGUST. THEREFORE, I WAS NOT ABLE TO UTILISE MY BOOKING. BUT I HAVE PREVIOUSLY INDICATED THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND SOFITEL LONDON HEATHROW TO A FRIEND.
Convenient when traveling on BA”
The Sofitel London Heathrow is a convenient place to stay if traveling on British Airways. Convenient location, comfortable beds and rooms. A great place to stay if you have an overnight connection.
Great Airport Hotel”
The Staff at the Sofitel are very helpful and will assist you with most of your needs.I've stayed at the Sofitel on many occasions and would recommend it to any Business traveller who might be going through London Heathrow .In other words, the Sofitel is good value for money.
good stay”
the sofitel heathrow hotel is conveniently located in terminal 5 in heathrow - a short walk from the terminal. it provides very comfortable accommodations, the bathroom is very nice, bedroom is spacious, bed is very comfortable. service is good and friendly. the value is very good; it is very consistent with the usual sofitel brand experience. overall experience is good, will recommend it to friends
You can't beat the location”
I had another great stay at the Sofitel Heathrow. Conveniently located at terminal 5, with a great spa and fitness center. The check in process can be lengthy and you must check out your bill carefully as I have been misbilled twice in excess of £300 in the past two stays. Regardless of the slow internet, it's location and overall comfort makes Sofitel my number 1 choice at Heathrow.
A wonderful stay just a few days before Christmas”
Being regular visitors to the Sofitel Heathrow, as we always stay their before travelling and once again we were not disappointed. All of the staff were fantastic & our room was perfect as always. On the morning of check-out one of their elevators were broken & they made sure that our bags were taken good care of as we ushered them up to the airport departure level. The service & meal in Vivre the night before was excellent, as was the young gentleman and lady in the Hairdressers - who did an excellent job of fitting me in. The whole stay was memorable & as always, we will be staying again. See you all next time & thank you
Very good for an airport hotel”
The Sofitel was a very good surprise: Heathrow hotels are not famous for being particularly comfortable or new, but this one was really good: directly attached to Terminal 5, it can be easily reached from all other Terminals thanks to the shuttle service or, alternatively, using the Heathrow Express. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful: my check-in was very fast and, given I had multiple reservations, the person I dealt with managed to concatenate them and avoid me the hassle of checking out and in again for three times. Breakfast was excellent, with both traditional English and Continental options, and with lighter alternatives too. And very good coffee too at the Tea Salon, which was really pleasant. Negative aspect: WiFi. You either pay a lot for a decent service, or you get the free of charge one which is not performing enough. One more remark: I don't know whether for hotel policy, but toiletries are really kept to the bare minimum and not replenished daily, which means on a multiple night stay you will at some point run out of shampoo. This was disappointing and, if they want to become more environmentally friendly, then they rather need replacing the plastic, use-then-dispose, mini-bottles with some recipients that can be re-filled as needed
Location, location, location”
We had a late arrival into Heathrow and an early departure the next morning from Terminal 5, so the Sofitel proved to be the ideal place to stay. We were warmly welcomed, we were upgraded to a very pleasant room and it was a piece of cake to get to Terminal 5 for our early flight the next morning. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay at or near the airport.
Good solid place for short stay”
I needed a crash pad after a long flight from Hong Kong prior to a business trip in UK. I lived in London for 25 years, so am not unknowledgeable about the area. Chose this place via Agoda, and got a good deal. The hotel is clean, well presented and service helpful. It's not a top notch place, but then I only expected mid tier. My room was clean, new, well appointed. The bar is a little dull and lacking any style or cosiness. Breakfast was excellent and with plenty to choose from, was also an ok price. Internet was free I think. If you want an overnight stay near Heathrow, this is well priced and placed.
Some consideration and thinking ahead will make the service better”
My 3rd time staying at Sofitel London Heathrow. The first two times were great. However, the third time is disappointing. I had 40kg of luggage and I was given a room that is above a flight of stair and the only lift that goes up was under maintenance. My experience with changing Euro to GBP at the reception wasn't great either. The room service told me that I can do the exchange at the reception but didn't inform me that I need my passport. The staff was offensive when I tried to give them some EURO coin, so much for 5 star service. To make matter worse, I tried to use my residence permit as ID but was rejected. After a long day, I have no intention of going back all the way to get my passport.
