Perfect for an elegant and tranquil get away!”
Our family lives in Singapore and just wanted a quiet retreat far a way from the city. Sentosa Resort and Spa set at the eastern end of the island was exactly what we were looking for. If you just want to get a way from it all, this hotel fits the bill. It's a fair distance from the main attractions such as resort world and universal studios (10 minutes via the complimentary shuttle bus) but is just a 5 minute walk to a couple of small "beaches". The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service to nearby VivoCity. We chose to enjoy the hotel facilities and the gym and pool did not disappoint. My husband and daughter said the gym was the best they have ever used. Equipment is high end and easily accessible. The pool is a "swimmers" pool at 33 meters long. It has a designated lap lane and one long side of the pool is shallow while the rest is deep. There is a pool bar serving drinks and snacks from 11 a.m. and a casual restaurant with pool views We did have an issue with the first room we were shown but manager worked with us to make sure we were not disappointed. We had originally booked a Deluxe room which allowed an extra bed in the room for our 16 year old daughter but when we arrived we found the room was much smaller than expected and the extra bed could only be accommodated by moving other furniture out of the way. The management agreed to a complimentary upgrade and arranged for expedited cleaning of a "family room" which was really two rooms connected by a small foyer and shared bathroom. This made all the difference in being able to enjoy the hotel experience and we will definitely be return customers. if you are traveling with children (young or old) the family room at Sentosa resort ad Spa is the perfect accommodation.
Surprisingly Peaceful Hotel”
I booked a couple of nights in Sentosa as I work in the Far East and my wife was visiting. We dicided to see a show in Singapore and it happened to be in Sentosa Resort so rather than travel we stayed over. The hotel - Sentosa Resort and Spa was surprisingly peaceful and quiet especially given the faux Disney world of Sentosa Island. The room was well appointed and price was very keen through Agodo. Breakfast was additional , however the standard was very high and the location excellent surrounded by birds outside. Transport around Sentosa is free and there is a bus every half an hour from the hotel to the main areas. Nowhere is particularly far away in Singapore, however like most I'd rather spend it doing things than travelling around in buses or taxis, so in that respect Singapore is very good. Overall if one is staying in Sentosa then I would heartily recommend this hotel.
Very nice, secluded hotel”
sentosa resort and spa is a nice, relaxing, secluded resort on the otherwise bustling sentosa island. i think the value of the room was fair and the size of the room was much larger and luxurious compared to the other hotel of comparable price we staying in while in singapore. it is a short walk to the sentosa beaches and there are free buses to resorts world, or back to the vivo mall on singapore island. my only complaints were the costs of other items at the hotel. for example, two asahi beers at the bar were. the hotel charges you around $5 to call you a taxi, which i have never seen another hotel in the world charge for. there is no wireless internet in the rooms and wireless in the public areas was per day. however, i loved the resort and i would definitely stay here again if i were visiting sentosa.
Great Choice for Sentosa Staycation”
I had a pleasant stays in Sofitel Sentosa Resort. The staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is not buffet styled but given many meal set choices to choose and you have a choice for unlimited ordering if you could finish what you ordered. Their Singapore Laksa and American Breakfast are super delicious. The room is very clean and the king bed is really spacious for 2A2C. There is free shuttle bus services to and from Harbour front, very convenient.
Overll a lovely hotel with excellent services”
The thing i like about The Sentosa Resort and Spa is they understand the need to recognize revisiting traveler. If you are revisting them for a night stay, the staff will extend a complimentary service of providing you a choice of a varity of fruits, 2 drinks, or some snacks. The departments within the hotel work together as a team to deliver excellent service. One ring and things get done before you know it. Room is really spacious and the bed is excellent. The toilet is a seperate room by itself and is further divide into 3 sections. Writing table is another thing that's excellent. It's spacious for you to not just leave your laptop but everything on it. The hotel gives a feeling of being at home with the good customer service!
Peaceful & Relaxing Getaway ”
Booked 3 rooms in total, two of which were connecting rooms. Chose this hotel instead of the many choices on sentosa because the decor suited my budget and taste more (rather than the gawdy bright coloured rooms offered by rws...or the super expensive capella or shangrila). I have visited this hotel 3 years back and basically i got the same vibe as before and am overall am satisfied with the service and the rooms allocated. Rooms are spacious, balinese-styled, comfortable, clean. I appreciated the space allocated for the bathrooms too. The thing that stands out to me about the Sentosa Resort & Spa, is its surroundings. Gives you a sense of calm and tranquility which is much needed for fast-paced Singapore. There's also the Spa Botanica which was really good. Liked: Breakfast, pool, having a cuppa late at night at the hotel's cafe. Downside: I am afraid of birds, so, i didnt quite fancy the peacocks roaming about the hotel. I had a tough time avoiding them at breakfast, near the pools etc.
Lovely resort on Sentosa”
The small ‘lobby” between the door and the room is a nice surprise for me. My room was at the ground floor. When I walked to the bedroom glass door facing the “garden”, I saw a peacock. I’ve seen peacocks roaming freely on Sentosa a couple of times, but seeing them right in front your bedroom was just lovely. If you want to tour the Singapore city or even universal studio, the location of the resort might not be good for you, as you have to take a shuttle bus to the “Sentosa Express”. But when you walk thru the corridors from the reception, the tranquil and peaceful settings, the lotus ponds, would make you forget you’re in the busy and modern Singapore. Definitely perfect for staycation.
excellent resort resort on island of Sentosa”
the hotel is very clean, good layout, excellent service from helpful staff, room good size and good bathroom with separate shower. cliff restauranr is excellent but cafe also good with exceptional sunday champagne brunch being good value. location is great for a resort but still within 30 minutes of the nightlife in the centre of singapore. sentosa has plenty of attractions to keep you and the kids occupied. pool at hotel is large and warm and a must do. downside - no free internet access in the room is a let down to those who need to stay connected.
5 - Star category and excellent services.”
We came in from a city hotel where wi-fi was free. we were made to believe (and also from the so many promo ads) that singapore is a wi-fi free all over the country. we brought our own laptops to avail of this. but we have had a very unpleasant surprise that wi-fi services at sentosa spa and resort hotel cost $29/day. when we log-in, we were only made to choose on the duration for the internet connection. it did not mention the charges. when we complained about our bill during check-out, the desk clerk politely advised that the schedule of charges were are the bottom of the log-in page. question: why were the charges placed at the bottom? it should have been placed right beside the choice of duration where it cannot be missed ?
Incredible tropical gardens and spacious grounds”
we arrived 3 hours early and thought we would leave our luggage with reception and go back into the city, however we were told that we could check in straight away and that we had been upgraded to a villa (which has it's own private pool and has two bedrooms, two huge bathrooms and was spacious beyond belief). the check-in was efficient and staff were polite and helpful. modern resort but still close to nature - gardens and water (ponds, fountains, pool) and ground were gorgeous. nice peaceful quiet surrounds even though the resort was busy. restaurants were wonderful but not cheap. the cliff restaurant was incredible, wonderful degustation menu and stunning view over the harbour, but main courses is expensive, but the food and service at the cliff is luxe and definitely met our expectations. there is plenty of wildlife around the resort gardens including possums, plenty of lizards and peacocks. we did get a few lizards in our villa at night which concerned me, but the resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained. if you want to book the spa, do so in advance as treatments books out quickly. it has a great reputation around asia. we will definitely go back to the sentosa. highly recommended. free shuttle bus to vivo city shopping mall every half hour is a fabulous touch.
great weekend get away for romance”
The staff were all courteous seemed please to make our stay enjoyable. There was free transportation to the Universal Studio area where we ate and attended a show. Also used the hotel transportation to use the spa which is why we originally booked the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel seems a little overpriced. I would recommend taking the bus to eat out, but otherwise I would recommend Sentosa Resort and Spa for a romantic weekend.
Great hotel for relaxing and luxurious getaway”
room type: deluxe suite (1 bedroom with living room) room is spacious, with living room that opens up to the garden (peacocks are right outside!), plenty of natural lighting. room amenities are luxurious, there is nespresso coffee machine, twg teas selection, spa-quality toiletries, huge lcd tv (one in bedroom and one in living room) with excellent selection of channels (and none of that lousy grainy reception like in some other hotels...). one minus point is the wifi, although we could connect to the free wifi, but we don't really get the internet connection. either that, or it's really slow. this hotel is best for traveller who wish to escape the hustle bustle of city life and just relax and chill in a luxurious way. it is expensive, but you get what you paid for in this hotel. it is not for tourist who wants to explore singapore, because being in sentosa limit your accessability around singapore.
Very pristine hotel - large rooms + bathroom”
Probably the only few hotels in Singapore (& Sentosa) that gives you a 'relaxing' holiday. Recommended for mature romantic couples. Peacocks freely stroll around the resort. Still close to all the actions (Universal Studios etc.) and buses come often. Room is beautiful, very large and clean. You feel like you are away from all the noise, traffic and busy people in the city. Service is good, though a bit of wait just to check-in because not enough staff at the front desk. We are very thankful for their assistance too. I lost my phone after we checked out. Lucky we are still at Sentosa and quickly came back. After 15mins, they found my phone! Keep up the good service and you will get good reviews!
Getaway”
Quiet, private, good service, relaxing. Sofitel Singapore Sentosa offers tranquility, and with the friendly and helpful staff, you will feel pampered. on top of this, they have good selection of food at Kwee Zeen, and the rooms and facilities are top notch. Keep up the good work.
Bonjour! Thank you for taking your precious time to share with us your wonderful feedback. We appreciate it and are so looking forward to welcome you again – hopefully very soon. Best regards, Piotr Kupiec (General Manager)
Pleasant Stay with wonderful staffs”
Birthday & babymoon staycation for the first time at Sofitel. Despite informing in advance during booking, no special arrangements being made. As compared to other hotels located in Sentosa, Sofitel will need to improve a bit more. Brought my own cake and stored under concierge but nowhere to be found though they mentioned have sent up to the room. The cleaner packed our room while we were out for dinner. Life guard at the pool was very attentive thru out during our swim. Very impressed! Overall, facilities & staffs were pretty awesome! Will come back again. =)

Excellent”
We stayed in a junior suite and the room was huge - it also looked exactly like what was shown in the photos. We also went to enjoy the spa facilities at So Spa before getting a Sentosa Massage (60 mins) done. We had dinner at ilLido at the Cliff and breakfast (the day after) at Kwee Zeen. 1. Pros - Big and comfortable bed - Spacious rooms - Easy access from place to place -> within walking distance or you can easily get a buggy to ferry you around - Service was excellent! - Massage at So Spa was awesome and relaxing - Love the dinner at ilLido at the Cliff (be sure to be there early -> 6pm - 7pm if you want to catch the awesome sunset view) 2. Cons - Spa facilities at So Spa were a tad disappointing -> pool was a little dirty and some of the facilities looked pretty old - The pillows were a little too soft for our liking -> be sure to request for more sturdy pillows if you need them for your neck support In all, pretty good place to stay at if you are willing to spend a little bit!
Excellent Vacation ”
The hotel was very good. I like Sofitel so much. Bcoz here in the Philippines. We always stay at Sofitel and always the room we choice was the Club Millesseme. We really satisfied for Relax. That's why We choose Sofitel Singapore Sentosa . I thought it's the same. But it's not. We stay 4 nights and 5 days. The breakfast was the same. Repeat. No change. And the toilet no bidet. Disgusting. 5 star hotel... the toilet no bidet. My room was a Junior Suite. The toilet no bidet...? Hahaha... only convenient for the hotel. They have a shuttle bus and near at tourist spot place like universal studio .. luge .. cable car etc. Excellent Vacation. Because after 5 days... we transfer to Marina Bay Sands Hotel. That's all.
Relax, Rejuvenating and Enjoyable ”
I would definitely recommend everyone to stay at the The Singapore Resort and Spa Sentosa. It was definitely an enjoyable 2D1N staycation and I would definitely be back for more. With wide range of food for breakfast, free ranging peacocks, a relaxing and quiet environment, everyone will enjoy their stay there!
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
it's so wonderful and relax during my stay at the sentosa resort and spa. it's quite convenience to go anyway as they provided free bus service that just stop by in front of hotel lobby. the room of the hotel is also comfortable and relaxful, surrounded by the nature and you may also see some peacooks around. this is the best hotel that i've ever stay so far.
Tranquility and Bliss”
We had chosen this resort as a staycation destination and we were not disappointed. The sprawling tranquil and serene property offers some relaxing hideaways and spots that one can relax in and completely unwind. To add to this the food at each of the restaurants is excellent and the spa has a wonderful array of treatments. The constant gentle sea breeze and the dancing peacocks throughout the property adds to the experience. Have seen some of the other top resorts in Sentosa but I would recommend this one as the best for a peaceful, luxurious and relaxing holiday for couples and solo travelers just looking to unwind in the midst of nature in a luxury surrounding . The Peace Wing suites with access to the garden is recommended
