We feel extremely lucky to have stayed at this resort. The customer service was fantastic. A big thanks to Nick the concierge. He was very knowledgeable about activities to do around Sydney and gave us a printout of instructions that made navigating through Sydney’s public transit system a breeze while also ensuring we never went through the same place twice. Furthermore, knowing the many tourists would not fully understand the craziness of New Years in Sydney, Nick pre booked several tickets for the opera house. This set us up with the opportunity to buy some tickets to the opera house to see an opera show and have prime time seats for the New Years fireworks. When we come back to Sydney, we will be staying here!

Glad we got to stay here it was outstanding”
We chose to spend a few days in Sydney on the way back from an overseas holiday to get the time clock back in order. The experience was great. Hotel was confortable and very clean. The location was convenient as about equidistant to Circular Quay and the heart of the city. We had access to the club lounge which was outstanding. Overall the staff were excellent barring a few teething issues with check in.

Sofitel is getting a little tired now in certain aspects of the accommodation, however it remains a firm favourite for its location and overall level of friendliness and comfort. Well located for the business and holiday traveller the hotel is central to the business district and key tourist spots. There are many leading dining options nearby and the overall traveller's experience is both pleasant and consistent.

Enjoyable one night stay over in Sydney”
This hotel is very centrally located, the rooms are pleasant, the bed and linen are exceptionally comfy and classy and the staff were very helpful. We had a noise issue, as our original room was on the 6th floor and there was a noisy Christmas part below us on the 5th floor, they very efficiently moved us to the 17th floor which was much quieter. The buffet breakfast was sensational!

Nice hotel in the middle of Sydney's Business district”
Sofitel brand didn't let me friend and I down. We had a good stay in Sydney. The lobby is beautiful and the room is in good size. Bathroom is fine and staff are helpful. It's located in the middle of Sydney's Business district with just several minutes walk to public transportation, pubs and restaurants.

Good location, bathrooms need updating ”
Good location, friendly staff but this is no longer a five star hotel. The bathrooms were tired. Chipped bath, toilet rattling and loose on wall - filthy underneath! Footstool becoming threadbare with hole. Latex mattress left husband and I hot and sweaty and didn’t sleep well. Unsure if I would recommend as location and staff good but premises are not what we were looking expecting.
