"Lovely hotel with good facilities."

Sokha Angkor Resort is a large scale, full-service resort. The waterfall behind the swimming pool is a center piece of the resort that many balconies of the deluxe rooms face. This could be the only resort with a saltwater swimming pool that is friendly to the skin and eyes. The Caribbean-like atmosphere throughout the resort keeps you relaxed. There is everything you would expect from an upscale resort, including Wi-Fi or broadband internet access in all rooms and public areas, a buffet restaurant, a fine dining room, a Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar and Teppanyaki, an Irish sports bar with activities, a luxurious spa with a sauna, hot and cold whirlpool, business center, gym, and a beauty salon. Sokha Angkor Resort is also a conference hotel that has the largest ballroom in town with numerous smaller function rooms catering to events for up to 400 people.

suitable for family with young children”
1. Hotel is in central. Walking distance to Heritage mall. Thai Resto next door 2. Swimming pool specially for young children is very big and clean. 3. Restaurant for Breakfast is good at Lotus. Room service is quite delicious. Japanese Restaurant also is quite good 4. Airport transport is reliable 5. Staff are very nice, helpful and courteous 6. What you see from the photos are exactly the same in reality 7. Massage at the spa is good. For Khmer massage ask for Sopath downside 1. Bathroom is a bit old 2. some waiters they couldn't speak english properly. PATIENCE is the key!
Great facilities, staff not so friendly this visit”
I've stayed at Sokha Angkor many times. The facilities are great - great pool, lovely rooms, great breakfast. The staff didn't seem so friendly on this occasion though and we were disappointed that they were unable to arrange a late checkout for us on this occasion.
Lovely hotel, with warm friendly staff. Great concierges. Good reasonably priced food. Great massage”
Lovely hotel with good facilities. Great massage at the spa, and good gym. The staff were wa and friendly. The concierges, especially Mr Siecheap and Mr Leap went out of their way to help with organizing guides, transport and circus tickets. Great pool that we enjoyed. Good place for children and elderly in wheelchair. I thoroughly recommend it.
Best place to spend our birthday”
We come every year and stay a little longer each time. We are made to feel like family. Not only is the hotel beautiful, the breakfast buffet amazing, the pool spectacular, it is the staff that make this place so warm and personal.
Great Staff, Great Location! ”
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely come here again. The staff were always very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were good size and clean. Beds were huge and very comfortable. Showers were fantastic, hot and powerful! Limited choice on breakfast but still sufficient.
Great location. ”
Great accommodation within walking distance to main street. Breakfast was lovely and expansive suiting kids and adults. The 7yo's favourite was definitely salted eggs and yoghurt. We all enjoyed the swimming pool. Lovely staff that accommodated late checkout at no extra charge. Recommend sourcing laundry cleaning outside of hotel for cheaper prices. Will return.
Great location and spacious room, nice pool and very nice staff”
Hotel is expensive compared to other hotels nearby abd Extra bed charges of Usd40 per room night is quite high. A bit run down and not as high maintenance as a five start property. Pool is nice but they use salt and hence the water is bit salty. Not many options for vegetetian food and absolutely no option for Indian food. This was a bit disappointing. Otherwise Our atay was awesom.
Perfect in every way”
We stay every year and are greeted like family. You can walk into town but there are lots of shops around if you don't want crowds. The buffet breakfast is the best I've ever had and we have stayed in a lot of hotels. Even though it's a large hotel it is welcoming and the staff are delightful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. And don't take the limousine, the tuk tuks are much more fun and they are located in the hotel.
Exceptional in every way.”
We have travelled to many different countries, and stayed in all types of accommodation over the years, but this hotel, The Sokha Angkor Resort, is by far, The Best Hotel we've ever stayed at. The minute you walk in the door you feel it, the ambience is very welcoming, the Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you, the food was great, and the place was spotlessly clean. The pool area is like an Oasis, and it has a great old world charm, even though it's only 11 years old. I can't say enough good things about this Hotel, except, if you get the chance, treat yourself to a few days there, you will be glad you did, we didn't want to leave, and I for one will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to Siem Reap.
Our time at the Sokha Angkor Resort was terrific. It started off with a friendly pick-up at the airport by a professional staff, and lasted for the better part of a week. We truly had a positive experience visiting Siem Reap and much of that had to do with our stay at the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
Amazing hotel and stay”
Room was amazing and so was the hotel! The location was just nice and close to everything! Staff were extremely accommodating and got us all our tours organized for good rates. Pool is devine and the drinks amazing. Breakfast can do with an update, it wasn't very pleasant. All in all was an amazing stay and can't wait to go back!
great stay at the sokha angkor resort”
all in all, we had a great stay in this hotel. we were pampered by the great services from the staff. they are very friendly, polite and caring. One of the front desk staff (i forgot his name)prepared us with breakfast and juice to bring along when he came to know we need to catch an early flight back to malaysia. Impressive customer service/ so, highly recommended to stay in this hotel.
Relaxing after exhaust trip to the Angkor Wat”
I moved from a city hotel to this resort after two day tour to the Angkor Wat area. My plan was to relax in the resort after the exhaust trip. The hotel swimming pool and gym served me right to my expectations. The breakfast was superb and enjoyable. The staff was warm and helped me to book a tuk-tuk for an sun-rise visit to Angkor Wat at no charge. The room was spacious and the bed was huge and soft. The only comment is the deposit refund system. If I paid by credit card, I could only get my refund back in a week time. So I paid US$200 and got it when I checked out.
I loved this hotel from the time I arrived to the time I left. Everyone treated me like a VIP guest and were very friendly. The room was amazing, clean, spacious with nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety to choose from. The pool was beautiful with helpful staff ready to serve. I would recommend this hotel to any guest to Siem Reap.
I enjoyed my 10 days. Everyone treated me well and with a smile. The Suite room was roomy and beautifully set up. When booking a suite room they upgrade you to a VIP lounge where there are free drinks, food, business center, tv and different styles of seating. The staff in the VIP lounge served with readiness and a smile. The pool was beautiful, uncrowded and the pool staff were always ready to serve. I would recommend this hotel to those who are staying for a short time or longer.
Good solid hotel, not the best but good.”
We were in the Club Suites….they were disappointing! The most disappointing Club Executive room we have been to in an Asian hotel. They even took 2 days to confirm we could have free drinks in their (would not serve us before that until long while of finding out). Food in the room was very average. Also had very long walk to rooms from elevator. Over-priced for what we received. Hotel itself outside of that was quite good.
Impressive hotel in a good location”
Nice hotel with friendly staff in a good location. In the court of the hotel there were always enough taxis (Tuk Tuk) avialable. The breakfast is fresh and ample. The pool area comfortable but with too less sun lounger. The suite was quite big but without balcony. Lounge avialable for suite residentials and drinks are avialable any time but appetizer only on specific times and not really much. Finally we would book this hotel again!
Best hotel in siem reap”
Amazing. On the last night of our trip we stayed somewhere less expensive. Never again! Once you've stayed at the Sokha, you won't be happy with anything else. All the staff remember us from past holidays there.
I love my stay in this hotel!! Highly recommended!”
I really enjoyed my stay in Sokha Angkor. Once i reach the hotel i am greet by the staff and very friendly. The hotel smell nice too! There are many restaurant inside the hotel such as western Japanese and local. And u can chill out at the bar also... I am satisfied with the staff very nice and polite. There is a groceries shop nearby, walking distance.the hotel nearby the town also and 7km to the angkor wat. And 15minutes to the airport ! Very convenient ! I love my stay and i would like to recommend to all. Thank U Sokha Angkor 👍👍😍😍
Crews are very nice and kind”
It was very pleasured to have such a warm welcome by the hotel crews. All of them are so kind. The salty pool is big enough to enjoy for couples and families. The location is a big far from 'Pub street and night market' but it's still waking distance.
