Our Birthday Getaway”

Recently had the chance to stay for 3 days and 2 nights. We had a great experience in the resort. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. It's a very relaxing place on top of a hill. Great view! The wi-fi is strong in all areas of the resort. Never a hassle to get connected. The Barrio Fiesta restaurant here serves yummy food. We will definitely come back.

The location is great and the service is good. The only issue is the super HOT spring pools. Was not able to tolerate the temperature, maybe the can adjust to somewhat lower temp for everyone to enjoy.

NYE at SYV”

SYV is a sprawling resort with a view of Laguna valley and its bay. Spent NYE there to watch the fireworks down the valley, but found out the resort had its own pyrotechnics. Best feature are it’s pools with varying temperature levels from very hot to cool, which makes it perfect for any time of the year. Barrio Fiesta operates their restaurant, so the food is quite good and the service staff are very attentive.

Super Instagramable private resort with a great overlooking view and good staff.”

Lets talk about pros on this place(based on our experience) First, the place is really great! The staff are so approachable and accommodating. The have 24/7 frontdesk and you can call them anytime. The place is really instagramable and has a great overlooking view. Private lodgings are clean and neat they also have their own grilling station, refrigerator, safe, cable tv, sink, CR, aircon, and jacuzzi(on cabana). They also have 2 giant slide, quite a lot of pool which includes hot spring pool, and also a public jacuzzi. Food is great with a large serving. Now, about the cons. First is the actual location. You need to go up the hill to get into the resort. There are tricycles and it costs 50php(1 usd) per trip for 2 person. Private lodging and food are pricey. Their water slides and pools near it are only open on weekends(tho you can still take a pic) so if you have a reservation for weekdays, you wont be able to experience it. Overall experience is great despite having many cons.

Nice quick getaway from the city ”

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Sol! We got the Cabana and that is what i'd recommend if you're traveling with your companion as they have an indoor jacuzzi! View from outside the Cabana is great and very peaceful! What i'd personally suggest for some room of improvements on our Cabana is if they can fix the fridge on Cabana 108 as it takes a really long time to slightly cool our drinks. But that aside overall our stay was absolutely relaxing! Would definitely love to come back some day!

Lovely place”

It’s a huge place! Pools are plenty enough for both overnight and daytrippers. Food tastes good. I guess just polish the rooms. Maybe it’s due to the pandemic that some of the rooms equipment is a bit old looking already. Clean the bidets of dirt, the a/c seems to be blowing air and nt really cold air. Signal on the room within the main building has really slow to flickering internet signal. But despite of it all, my mom and sister enjoyed their stay

When expectation matched reality! ”

Great experience! The staff is very welcoming, polite and helpful. The whole place is clean. I think it's a little underdeveloped but it doesn't conflict with the great view and landscape. The cabana is classic and beautiful. It is classically designed but not at the expense of security and convenience. Equipped with sensor lock, smoke detection system, air conditioning, good wifi signal and a cable TV. The jacuzzi's bubble mechanism was not operational when we arrive but got fixed quick so it's a not a disappointment. Overall good! You'd get what your money is worth.

Perfect for weekend getaway”

The place is relaxing that me and my partner don’t want to go home yet. We planned to extend but our room rate is kinda pricy. We booked the Cabana room, regular rate is Php7500++, and you have to pay half if you want to extend. Staffs and service are generally good. For the breakfast, its 7am-10am. I went to the resto around 9:30am, and there are only few food left. So i suggest, if you want to take a heavy bfast, go there early as food may be limited, as number of guests may be a factor too. Try their Cabana room, its so nice specially the indoor jacuzzi. This place is highly recommended specially if you want to just spend your weekends.

Staff and Facilities”

staff seems to be on a ''zombie mode'' hope the attitude will just be some kind of holiday hang overs. for the facilities, looks good but needs more improvement, and one safety concern is the edges of the pool, i understand they provided this to be slip prof, but the design is giving the customers some cut injuries specially with children. hope this gets special attention. in general the experience on the resort was good.
