The property is comfortable, convenient & captivating . Although this place isn't luxurious as usual Somersets, the spacious rooms are well maintained, clean linens & comfy bed. Kitchen is fabulous! (microwave, various dishes, utensils & dinner table). Bathroom offers a large area & good hot tub with shower. The staff is amazing, great in communication speaking English, courteous & personal. The location is conveniently in the city center, mall & local cafes in front of & taxis or Grabs available nearby. A clean hotel at a fleabag price! I'd strongly recommend this hotel, especially for guests w/ more than 2. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Hai Phong.

We spent two weeks at Somerset Central TD Haiphong and loved it! The rooms are tastefully decorated, in addition to large sizes and fantastic views of Haiphong. We used the gym everyday. The gym is better than most hotel gyms in Vietnam. The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff are professional and attentive. We appreciate the clean apartment everyday! We enjoyed the diverse choices of Haiphong specialties offered by the numerous restaurants located just outside the hotel gate. Highly recommend the hotel.

Room: absolutely clean and spacious. Near supermarket. Fb: breakfast is poor. Close at 9.30 but when i came at 9.05: items were almost gone. Fb staff (outsourcing) was not friendly and professional. No uniform and not well trained. Still come back next time with family

I've stayed at Somersets many times, so my expectations were set long before I arrived, and my expectations were met. It's a bit far from town, but there are some nice shops and restaurants nearby. And taxi to town is cheap enough and only takes 5 or 10 minutes. I never tried the restaurant, so can't comment, but gym facilities are adequate, and I enjoyed my time at the pool. Staff didn't fail to please and offered great support for the few requests I made.

Ascott group never fails to deliver. Great service, staff spoke excellent English and were very reliable. Rooms were clean and huge with a good view of Haiphong city. The hotel is located conveniently amongst TD Business Center and Parksons, so shopping is a breeze. Will definitely be back.

Great Hotel but need to take care of maintenance”
My family stayed at the family room, I would definitely stay again if I visit. Good things about the hotel -Clean, quiet, comfortable and very spacious -Convenient amenities -Very Friendly and helpful staffs -Close to the city center and shopping center -Great continental breakfast -Beautiful view of the city and lake -Clean outdoor swimming pool with city view :) Need improvement -May need to check on maintenance on facilities: if the tub drainage lever works, toilet flushes, water hose spray is not strong. -Beach towels and lockers need to be available for use. -A sign on the door on how to open the swimming pool door may be needed (There is a button on the left side wall that needs to be pressed to open the door) and you need to tag the room key card to open the door for exiting. Overall, a fabulous experience and stay!

But one thing i must comment, in order for better service, the apartment should keep at least a spare room just in case customer's flight delayed for a few hours maybe 6 hours and above, but other than superb service by the staffs, very polite and always helpful keep it up somerset!! Well done, strongly recommended from us!!

I have book 2 bedroom suite but they upgrade me to 3 bedroom suite.The apartment is big, clean and have a fantastic view from the balcony on 18th floor.The bed is comfortable and the pillow is not too soft. There is a big supermarket just next to the hotel which is convenient to buy refreshment and food. I will definitely stay here again when i visit Haiphong

Good for business and short stays, not so good for families with young children.”
We were very happy with the apartment, the staff was very efficient and attentive. The facilities apart from the swimming pool and gym were none exciting, there was not much to do in the whole complex, there's a children's playroom that is suited for 2 year olds, we have two boys between 10-16 and there was nothing to do for them. We feel the apartments are perfect for business people and people staying for a couple of nights just passing through Haiphong city. The apartment is two hours away by car from Hanoi and two hours away from Halong bay so is really not close to anything. We felt that we did not get a good deal on the transfers to and from the Hanoi Airport. AUS $150-155 each trip. Compare to all the other hotels we stayed in Vietnam this was the dearest in every way.
