Exceptionally amazing!”
I booked two-bedroom apartment. Ok first things first, shout out to Mr. Kaldip and Mr. Shukor, you guys are soooo courteous, always polite and tremendously helpful. I was very tired when i had arrived (it was the time of the month for women), so when I asked the direction to Mr. Kaldip, i sounded like a rude bitch. But he gently told me the way. I felt so guilty and apologised to him the next day. He was like nonono, it's okayy, dont worry about it, nonono. 😭😭😭Thank youuuu~ To Mr. Shukor, you are so attentive and kind and softspoken and so thoughtful! You helped with our bags when we checked in. Then after checked out, i left my bag near the reception because i was rushing. So 3-5mins later, as i was driving someone called me to tell me that i left my bag. I didnt know who called but i'm going to assume it was you, so thank you for recognizing that it's my bag. (There were other ppl checking out at the same time). Again, thank you very much to the both of you! 😁😁😁😁 Okay. Somerset. I chose this hotel not because it is beside a mall, or that there are tons of shops all around it. Those are plus points anyway. I had to stay here mainly because my brother was admitted into KPJ damansara. So i booked this hotel since it's nearby and my family needed a good rest too. And somerset delivers! If u need a good rest, this is the place. It was worth the price. Everything is amazing! The space, kitchenette, washing machine, fridge, shoe rack, the rooms, toilets, pool, children playground, gym. So anyway, all i can say is somerset's amazing becauuuseee they have the best staff, plus the bed is so damn comfortable! 😆😆 👍👍👍

One of the best hotel I have stayed”
When I arrived, the check in was fast, but my key card wasn't working, a Malay lady staff helped me to bring it to the counter to solve it. During breakfast time, a male staff helped me by providing me with the necessary container and bag for easy carry to consume at my room. The cleanliness was OK and the facilities in the room was fantastic. We have microwave oven for our use to reheat the food, even provided with forks, spoons, pots..... The shampoo rack double tape wasn't firmed and fell but that's doesn't matter. Overall it was a good experience, will choose here again if coming to PJ.

Convenient serviced apartments in the heart of PJ's Uptown area”
Stayed here a few times pre and post Covid and have been impressed each time. Somerset is directly connected to the Starling Mall so your basic essentials are taken care of. The pros and cons below refer to our most recent trip in July 2022: Pros: - 2 room apartment can easily sleep 4-5 adults - Direct connection to the mall - Free parking available for guests in a dedicated area separate from mall parking - Friendly and helpful bilingual staff - Clean kids' playroom, which is also air conditioned - Child cot available upon request - 1 room apartments available - PLENTY of food options available, mostly accessible within 5 minutes walk of Somerset - Water dispenser available Cons: - Reached Somerset at about 2:30pm only to be told the apartment would housekeeping would have it ready at 3:30pm - Lobby is on the 6th floor, rooms are accessible via another lobby - Seems to be only 1 water dispenser per floor in the common area - Insufficient cutlery in our 2 bedroom apartment - 1 car allowed per apartment (probably due to limited car spaces)

Booked 1 BR apartment and it was spacious. Kitchen facilities are available for you to do light cooking... Great location to food options plus the next door mall for groceries shopping. Reception staff was warm and friendly, housekeeping services prompt and clean. Makes me feels like home. Areas of improvement: Thick layer of dust are accumulated on the ceiling fan in the living room. The room aircon at times wasn't cold enough to cool the room.

The place is easy to find. It is located beside Starling Mall, so you can easily go shopping and eating with no worries. They have many facilities such as swimming pool, gym and multifunction room. The room was clean, The staff is kind and friendly. I will be go to Somerset again when i go to Kualalumpur

Excellent Value! Well appointed apartment-hotel”
Excellent value for money! Good location with shopping and eating outlets all around . You can even find food to eat even in the wee hours of the morning, if needed. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Essentially, you wont expect anything less from a Capitaland Somerset Hotel. If you can spare that 10% more in room rate, pls do grade-up to the one-bedroom unit, especially if you're having to stay for a few days. Staff are well-trained, courteous, respectful and friendly. I used to stay in other hotels in PJ, but i have now made the Somerset Uptown my preferred choice for the last 3 trips to KL.

Home away from home”
I actually booked the studio for my parents to stay for 2 weeks, while their house was being renovated. They were quite pleased with the facilities as everything is provided to them. Toiletries, kitchen utensils, etc. The location is good because it is attached to the community shopping mall, known as The Starling. The staff are both friendly and helpful. Lots of choices of where to eat in the mall as well as the outer area of the mall. Just ask a reception or a local for recommendations. Definitely will book again if the need arises.

Best stay ever”
The room is exactly same as adv, it’s good and cozy and it has everything. It’s quiet and comfortable. Never had a stay as good as somerset. I checked in at 2pm and checked out at 1pm. I just can’t find any words to describe how much I love staying here. Definitely will come again.

The property looks exactly like in the photos - clean, spacious and well appointed. It is directly connected on the third floor to a shopping mall with a cinema, supermarket, pharmacies, wine shops, F&B, fashion retailers, etc. Surrounding the mall on all sides are rows of shop houses with a lot of famous local eats and dessert cafes. The pool is big enough for laps, and the gym is clean and spacious. Complimentary parking is located in a separate area within the mall's carpark. Inside the apartment, we found sufficient cutlery and cookware. There was a pillow menu, although our top choice was not available then. Most importantly, air-conditioning and water pressure in the shower is comfortably strong! We thoroughly enjoyed our family staycation during the CNY period. This is our second stay, and it most likely will not be our last. To the staff and management of Somerset Damansara Uptown - thank you :)

Spacious space, well equipped with appliances including oven, microwave, fridge. All well kept well maintained, shower gel using organic gentle for skin type is definitely a plus point! Plenty of food around and all easy accessible via walking. Also have a direct entrance to the mall.

I am a regular here. Would always come here if I needed to get away from the kids or with the kids. Facilities are great, staff is wonderful. Next to mall and lots of places to eat. My only complaint is no one helps you to carry your luggage. If you are a family of 5 you can imagine how tedious that gets when it comes to luggage. But other than that everything else is stellar
