Nice place in the center”
This place has some bad reviews but I don't know why. The staff is very nice and the room was big compared to other places I've stayed in Thailand. There's a lot of good Thai food in the area and it's a short walk to the park and many temples.
Nice budget hotel, clean room”
The room is big and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. They have free wifi available, but it somehow didn't work in my room. The parking lot was quite small. In conclusion, everything was good. I will definitely come back to this hotel.
Comfortable affordable stay close to ruins”
This was a wonderful place to stay in an ideal location. 10 minutes walk to ruins and historical park, 5 mins walk to Main Street and tourist area. Super friendly staff, bikes and scooters for rent, tour advice, baggage storage, everything you could want really. Hard bed and a lizard in the bathroom are the only drawbacks...very minor issues.
Nice place to stay with low price”
The hotel is actually modified from a dormitory. However, the room is nice and clean. The bathroom is rather small, but it suits the size of the room. A perfect place for just staying at night. The hotel is near markets and temples.
clean guesthouse good services ”
its not difficult to find, and in good location. Just right turn with few mins walk to historical sites & night market, left turn with few mins walk as well to 24 hours supermarket and mini bus station to bangkok victory monument. left turn about 10 mins walk to some bars with many westerners, sometimes those bars with live band (mainly on Sats) the owner keeps the hotel very clean, only a bit bad is too many mosquitoes, but im sure same case happen to all other guesthouses, or even worse, as most guesthouses are only rooms with fans instead of air con for the basic room type, so im still fine with it. Only need to spray some mosquito repellent then all mosquitoesssss gone The owner (im sorry i forget his name provided me a very informative map. he knows Ayutthaya well, so he probably can provide guests lots of useful information. He can also offer guests a free bike, sad that im afraid of riding it alone, without trying it. If i have chance to come back Thailand, definitely i will come back this guesthouse again!! i like here Thank you
Good room shame about the staff”
Good air con, fridge in room, hot shower. Great location. Beds were rock hard, literally sleeping on a concrete slab. Staff were uninterested in helping. They made us pay upfront for a tuk tuk to the train station and it didn’t even turn up. We had to argue to get our money back and hail our own tuk tuk, leaving us only minutes to spare to catch our train. WiFi was none existent.
Bugs and unfriendly staff”
The room was barebones: a bed, ensuite toilet, a dresser, and a couch. We were ok with it until we noticed that the soft headboard and bed were covered in bugs. They were everywhere and every size. We shook out the sheets and pulled the bed away from the wall (it was on wheels). When we told the front desk he just said “ok” as if this has happened many times before. Additionally they rent their bikes for 250 Bhat, do not buy from them! We got bikes not too far for 40 each. Breakfast is not included. Staff is not helpful. Would not recomend this location to a friend
A good place to stay in Ayutthaya Thailand”
I don't recommend the ground floor rooms unless, like me, you have moderately severe hearing loss and take out your hearing aids when you sleep. Otherwise the ground floor can be noisy with guest departures and returns. Ground floor also seems to have more trouble with slightly stale or mouldy smell. When I toured the upper floors neither of these issues seemed to exist. The staff was friendly and helpful, but sometimes hard to find and didn't volunteer suggestions of options or ad ons for activities related to my inquiries. Rooms and other facilities were clean and relatively well appointed. Towels were on the light weight side but adequate. Location is fairly central to the Island section of Ayutthaya with numerous nearby coffee and food options. Transportation options are available on site or nearby. Places of interest are mostly within walking distance, or a short bike, scooter or tuk-tuk ride. I'm likely stay there again if I return to Ayutthaya.
Usually i am not one to review but oir experience wasn't pleasant and we actually booked 5 nights and couldn't stay 1 as our Room was full of ants and even in the bedding. Beds way too hard better off sleeping on the tiles on the ground. Unfortunately the only real good thing about this hotel it is cheap.
It is cheap. near to wat mahathat and all. The lady at the counter are quite blurr when we come to check in and even asked for our passport or deposit. No light at the stair when we go to room. Bed are hard and itchy. Not for long stay, 1 night is ok.
We were not confident before coming in this hotel because of the previous comments, but for us it was totally fine! Maybe because we had a room upstairs. It was clean, one of the best aircon we had in Asia (not too cold and adjustable), and the upload speed of wi-fi was awesome (which is really rare!). Staff was not concerned at all with our booking though, she prefered to read her text messages in front of us before checking us in. She insisted also to know the price we paid on Agoda, which is odd because we paid online.
very long waiting that we can go in the room”
very long waiting (20 minutes) that we can go in the room....even when we came specially in the reception hours (between 2 pm and 8 pm). The room is big and has a good airco and refrigerator. Price / quality the room is ok
Tired and dirty”
Rooms are in a location for bars and restaurants and 20min walk to Historical Park. Showers warm...Tv ok....Aircon worked...and thats it. Room was dirty and old, bedding is a mattress cover and an old horse blanket. Wifi was woeful in room. Staff are friendly on check in but i will not stay here again. Better vfm elsewhere.
Horrible staff performance and treatment of guess”
Kicked out the street with a 3 year old child for no apparent reason given. Shouted at to leave not asked. They need to change management or leave the hospitality business to people that know how to treat guess with dignity and not treat them like animals and kick them to the curb for no reason.
This establishment doesn't deserve the stars or review score it has. ”
Horrible staff that's why I'm placing double review, staff kicked us out for no reason at all at 10pm with a 3 year old child not knowing and caring if we had a car or phone. Kicked us out in the middle of the night with no transport around the area not caring about our safety or our child's welfare. They threatened to call the police we agreed but no call was placed because they know they had no rights to do what they did. I don't recommen5 5hisp lace because the staff performed in a very inhuman way. They don't deserved and costumers and we're not the first this happened to. Seach up the Google reviews of this place and you will see.
Horrible location, no public transport at night and with even more horrible heartless staff. ”
Check in late, around 9 pm. Was let in by female staff that was called from next door, after 45min in the room the power was shut off and the male Co-owner wanted to kick us out when we asked he couldn't give us a straight answer and then he proceeded to shout and insult my wife saying if she spoke human language since my wife was bedazzled as to why were getting kicked out at 10 pm. Mind you we had a 3 year old daughter and there was no public transport around neither and the management did not not care at all. They said they would call the cops and I said ok call them, they didn't call the police because there was no reason at all. We didn't do anything wrong. He just kept shouting get out get out like he was not even educated it was disgraceful for himself and the establishment he represented, it was unacceptable how he treated us. We would have left in the morning if he wanted just not in the middle of the night with a child on tow after a long day. Heartless katoy kicked us out. Sorry for the long review, the place by itself is adequate for overnighters but the staff is heartless and treated us like animals even with a kid they did not care. Look in google reviews and check out the other BS these staffs do to others. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone untill they get someone else as a staff.
Basic Cheap accomodation”
My Thai wife and I stayed here for only 1 night as we were visiting many Temple Ruins in the area.It is very basic, but for the price, very good value.I cannot comment about the food,as we dined out,but the bed in our room was surprisingly comfortable compared to many hotels we have used.Bedding was really only pillows and a coarse blanket which could have been better but for our needs,it sufficed. It's location makes it easy to get around, with plenty of Tuk Tuks in the area,(expect to pay about 80 baht from Railway station to accomodation). Also within reasonable walking distance of the local evening street market.
Cost-effective way to meet the needs of a hotel”
I wanted a clean, quiet, place to sleep, shower get guidance about navigating the local sites. That's what they offered. They're close to the night market and some of the historical sites. They seemed to really make an effort to make the most of a simple place. The staff was quite helpful with answering questions and arranging transportation. They had washing machines and a dryer there. The room had a little more light coming in from outside at night than I would have liked but it was quiet. Breakfast was fruit, yogurt and an egg for 100TBH and bike rentals were 3 times more expensive than other places. It was easy to miss from the street, but someone was out there to guide us in.
Great value and good location”
It was great value for the money. Good location, not far from the bus stop, restaurants, bike rentals and night market as well as local attractions. However I would recommend to use bike rental or any other services outside of the hotel as it can be find cheaper elsewhere. Coffee stand on the street in front of the hotel has good coffee for a good price. Nigh market has many great food stalls and some souvenirs.
Good location, close to ruins”
This is a solid option just a couple blocks away from the ruins. You can rent a bike at the hotel and ride around town easily. There are a couple nice local restaurants nearby, and also a supermarket if you want to self-cater.
