Awful experience 1st they tried to say only booked and paid for 1 double room, either which weren't ready wen checked it. Rooms were smelly and not very clean. Worst of all was the loud music which started at 06-30 every morning

Difficult to assess value for money as I stayed during Tet when hotel rates sky-rocket. I'd suggest $12-15 dollars is probably the most you'd want to ordinarily pay for a double room. Room was clean and spacious. Lacked hot water and stable wifi, so I checked out and found a better hotel for $15. Reception was complet chaos, location on a busy road but reasonably close to the beach. No housekeeping during my stay, no complimentary water provided.

Not the best quality / price ratio we have seen. The room was spacious, cleanliness OK, but a lot of stains on the walls and bathroom floor. From 6 am to 10pm it was noisy as we'll as we were on the 1st floor. Speaking English is possible only when they call someone on the phone...

A good place to stay in Vung Tau”

The rooms are large, you don't feel squeezed inside. The bedroom was clean but I cannot say the same about the bathroom: there was some rust traces on the floor, and it looked out-dated. Despite this, the value for money is excellent. It is not located in a "touristic" area, but close enough to the beach and Christ statue. I just have a few doubts about the activities of the bar which is part of the hotel, you will see foreigners with local girls hanging out there..

Good value with nice bed”

Pros:- - Bed and pillows were comfortable. - Good location as quite near beach (less than a minute drive, or 5 min walk) - Parking space for motorbike. - Cafe/bar inside hotel. - Has hot water shower. Cons:- - Some mosquitos were there which bit us many time during the night. - Shower water pressure not enough as we stayed on top (3rd) floor, especially during the evening/night when many people are using water. - TV screen was small (only 25") and picture quality not so good.

It was a good experience. The staffs there are very nice. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Room is clean and big.

Location: not close to entertainment center, restaurants, and pubs of interest for foreigners. State of hotel: old and not well maintained, probably because of lack of investment and attention, shower hose leaks, rudiments of lamp above washstand, regularly noise of central water pump Cleanliness: Bad, dirt in corners, on wardrobe dirt more than 1 year (normally in other: only 3 months ...), dirt on fan, etc. Fridge does not work when leaving room (should be excluded from central switch-off) Internet on second and third floor non existent (I move twice during my 4 days stay) Staff uses google translate (or calls manager/owner) to communicate but very friendly and helpful but what can you do??? A No-Go!

Would stay again”

Excellent location. You can walk where ever you want to go. Many little eating places nearby. Clerk was very friendly and helpful. language is a problem but nothing Google Translator couldn't fix. No hot water, but you have to expect that in Vietnam

Overall A-okay”

Main room was clean. Bathroom looked like it could have been cleaned a little bit more. But the host was very helpful in helping us upgrade to another room. The rooms are not sound proof so if you're a light sleeper, this area would not be idea as it's next to a main busy street. Bit of a trek to get to the beach but not a big deal.

Good budget hotel”

The location is good, between the two main beaches. Unfortunately there is a site just in front of the hotel so it's a bit noisy at the moment. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The problem was the moldy air but I guess that depends on the rooms as they have many. Mine was on the first floor. The boss and manager was very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. They rent motorbikes as well, probably the best way to go around.

The TV cable in room 308 was not working, the hot water supply was weak and almost not in service in early morning. That room was under attack by lots of mosquito as well.

Excellent place!”

Great place for the price, close by some good restaurants and near the beach. A bit far from the downtown nightlife area. Great friendly staff as well, I will return if I'm ever in Vung Tau again. Also the room was large.

Good value for backpackers”

Partner and I stayed here for a few nights during the week (downtime, Vung Tau gets much busier and more expensive at the weekend). Good value for money for a double room with fridge, aircon etc. Hired a tandem bike from here to see the area. Not exactly great quality, would've been much easier to see the mountains by moped, but still good fun. Decent location, short bike/moto ride to the main beach in one direction, the "centre" with restaurants bars a similar distance in the other direction. Owner was very helpful.
