great location”
Wake up to the sound of the ocean, and stepped out on to the beach. This is the perfect location near the beach and local restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it to everyone.

Great location!”
This place was actually pretty spacious for a korean hotel, great location and easy parking....all right across from the beach?!?! Who could ask for more?

Great location, one of the few hotels that actually have a terrace to enjoy the view and breeze. ”
Only bad thing, uncomfortable, hard beds.

Beach holiday option”
Caveat: I chose Song Jung because I was attending an event happening in the same hotel. I consider this place a beach hotel like those you can find in Phuket or Bali so you have to manage your expectations. It is a short 5 min walk to the Beach Train Station, and maybe 15 min walk to the subway, but Song Jung is far away from the city center, costing around 20-25kwon taxi fare. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes lined along the beach next to Song Jung hotel. The place is clean and has the necessary amenities and is suitable for families looking to spend a day or two near the Song Jung beach which is crazy popular for surfing.

Great Hotel on the Non-tourist Beach”
My wife and I wanted a nice, peaceful weekend on the beach, and we definitely found it at Songjung Beach and Songjung Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke some English. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Though we didn't have a beach-facing room, we still had a nice balcony view. There is a great coffee shop in the hotel, and several good restaurants within walking distance. The beach was much less crowded than Haeundae, and that was in the middle of June. That may change in July since that is "official" beach season. I can't say for certain. The price is a little more than an average love motel, but it's completely worth it! We will be staying at this hotel again. Very pleased!

Nice hotel ”
Songjung beach area is definitely more peaceful and quiet compared to haeundae beach area. The hotel stay is nice for people who wish to get away from crowded/busy areas. Hotel room was big and spacious. It was clean too. Location of the hotel is not ideal though if you wish to go to Nampodong area though (where the famous jagalchi market and pusan international film festival square are). The hotel is however quite close to Haeundae beach by taxi (maybe about 10 - 15 mins).

Nice Place, but (very) far from the city centre”
songjung beach is a very pleasant place. hotel : the room is very confortable, large bed, large tv screen, a very convenient tea table, and the view. nice room maids. a lot of restaurants in the nearby, supermarkets too. but in case you come for visit, far from the city centre (more than 1 hour by bus) and the airport.

Rooms are okay. Right at the beach and relaxing”
Like everyone else has mentioned, this hotel is away from the city. It took us nearly 1.5 hour to take the bus from the Busan Station to the hotel. Once you are there, it's almost like you are in a another vacation town. The beach has fine sand and a nice coast line. There's a nice little woody peninsula area at the end of the beach where you can climb up and enjoy the scenery - it's especially beautiful to walk up the woody area during sunset. The hotel room was not very big and we only got a room with partial sea view. For the price though, it's a good deal. Along the beach, there are also many nice seafood restaurants and well-designed cafes. We went to a seafood restaurant with appetizing-looking model dishes near the door, and had a big meal of seafood hotpot. The shell fishes were huge and the whole meal was satisfying. We also went to one of the sea-front cafes for waffles in the morning - the breakfast sets were costly, around per set with drinks, but it was tasty and the decor and front-row open view was well worth it. The other beach area in Busan: 雲海台 Haeundae, is by comparison all-commercialized and not that special.

Always a pleasure... ”
Loved it as always! I've stayed at this hotel more than 20 nights at various times and it was a major decision factor for my move to Busan. I've come to know some of the front desk staff very well and am always grateful for their wonderful service, help and friendliness! I highly recommend this hotel and would book rooms here for friends coming to visit Busan!

Nice Hotel directly at the beach, but a bit remote”
nice spacious room with nice view and the beach just in front of the door. note: this is the quiet part of busan and rather remote to the city center. during our stay it has been so quiet that we could leave the window open and enjoy the sound of the sea at night. thats wonderful after a busy day in downtown busan, but you should be prepared to take a cab in the evening to get there (dont worry, the cab doesnt cost a fortune).

Good quiet relaxing, with nice view.”
Perfect, we got the best room at this 3 star hotel. Very good ocean view, across the small street is the beach. It is great for kids being located right by the beach. It isn't a good location for touring Busan, as it it on the outskirts. It is far from the airport. But for a quiet weekend it is good. There are many coffee shops, but not many non-Korean restaurants. The "American breakfast" was provided at a 20% discount - and it was okay.

Fantastic hotel, though not centrally located”
If you are looking to hang out by the beach, this hotel is perfect. If you are there to see Busan, you will have a harder time getting around. It is near one bus line that goes between Haeundae and Yonggungsa, both major attractions, but the bus comes only rarely, and we found it easier to walk just a little farther toward the center of Songjeong-dong where several buses all go to Haeundae. From there you can board the subway and get anywhere you need to go. It does take longer, but I think it was worth it. The hotel was really clean and spacious, and it was kind of nice to grab dinner and relax by the beach after a long day of sightseeing. And we liked Songjeong beach better than Haeundae anyway. It wasn't anywhere near as crowded, and is every bit as pretty. So aside from its location that is a bit more difficult to get to, there were no complaints about this place. My wife and I had a very pleasant stay, and I would recommend it to anyone.

a very clean room w/ nice view”
my mom is a very picky person when it comes to hygiene. the room (deluxe twin w/ ocean view)we stayed was very clean and spacious enough for two people (2 adults).the hotel is facing the song jung beach and it gets a bit loud during night times due to human traffic, but this place attracts less people compared to hae un dae beach in busan. coffee places are nearby and there are restaurants and convenience stores. i'd like to visit this hotel again in winter time to enjoy the ocean view. (one thing bad about this hotel is that it's far from the ktx train station.)

Lovely Hotel”
Was a really nice hotel. We were able to check in earlier and had a good stay there. Around this place is not that much to do. We had to take a taxi to come into Busan City. But it is a quiet place directly at the bach.

Literally 50 feet from the beach”
I came with my mother and little sister for the weekend because my mother's hometown is Busan, and I wanted to make sure we were staying at a decent hotel. Albeit a little bit on a shabby side (the couches were really old in the room), the hotel was a wonderful stay. It's literally 50 feet from the beach, and the hotel staff was very nice. There's a lovely cafe on the 2nd floor with wall to wall window doors that opens up to the beach. And it was so nice and quiet. Really lovely if you're traveling with a family or a couple looking for a weekend getaway. I would love to come back.

passable”
this hotel was pretty forgettable. busan is a strange place overall - sprawling & with few intl tourists. this rooms here are basic but fine/clean. it has a "beach hotel" feel. the adjacent beach (songjong, i believe it's called) is mobbed with korean tourists & the local restaurants are not much of a draw. the hotel is located between the famous temple attraction & the busier, more developed beaches. so, a passable option. it was reasonable & clean. but overall offered little of note.

nice and relaxing”
We have been here twice, both times staff have been helpful with calling taxis etc. rooms are quite big and you should pay a little extra for the seaview rooms. will come here again. not recommended if you want to be in the busy bustling part of Busan, this is more of a quiet area.

nice hotel, but far from the metro station”
the people in busan are so helpful and guide me the way to the hotel from the bus stop. the room is bigger than i guess and happy to see the seaview from the room, it is clean and with wifi in the room

Nice to be back”
This was our 3rd stay, nice hotel, simple but not too basic. Staff always helpful. They now have a restaurant on the 10th floor with great views, even though we booked room only they gave us a voucher for a free buffet breakfast on Sunday morning. Love the fact you just cross the street and you are on the beach. Nice place away from main beach areas so less people. Good for surfers too.
