Songshan District hotels & places to stay

Stayed in Taiwan for 7nights. Stayed 2 nights in S hotel. Best choice made. Service was impeccable.. The service staffs came running to our transport immediately with 2 umbrellas. 1 of them held the umbrella for us while the other was unloading our luggage. Our luggage was mad heavy from our shopping. Didn't pant nor complain. Service staff were mostly young and good looking dudes who would smile and offer their help with transport or any help in finding directions. The hotel is beautifully decorated and quite techy. Love the service, could tell that the staffs love working there and their job. Well done S hotel management. Please continue to keep your staff happy so we will continue to have this impeccable service. Can't wait for our next visit. Thanks to the concierge service rendered at the exit. You guys were marvelous!!

Its a surprise to us honestly. Very happy with our choice! It’s situated in a good neighbourhood where the famous restaurants are just within minutes on foot. Also close to 東區 shopping district. There is supermarket and wet market just downstairs of the hotel. It may not have international 5 star lobby and restaurants, however, one won’t spend much time in the hotel in Taipei anyway. The staff are all v welcoming n helpful. I love the design and architecture of the hotel with nature as the theme. It has a lounge area where u can grab some drinks n fruits. The room is spacious, clean and equipped with nespresso machine. Only complaint is that the toilet and shower area not very separated. N there’s only a curtain to segregate bathroom n bed. May not be v convenient if travelling with friends n big families. Overall breakfast buffet is nice but would appreciate more varieties. Would be back!!

I have stayed in various 5-star hotels in different Asian countries. I had the best experience in Les Suites Taipei. Their services are excellent with some extras compared to other hotels. I love that their lounge is open 24 hours, with free snacks and drinks, and that they have a daily happy hour when one can have up to 2 free drinks. The fruits are replenished everyday. The espresso machine is a great feature of the room in addition to equipment/things made in Japan. The toiletries are topnotch. Water is not limited to 2 bottles a day. They even gave us some to take out before we boarded our taxi. Breakfast is not boring because there's something different every morning. They even let you borrow an umbrella when it's raining. And they provide a pocket WiFi that you may use when you go out of the hotel. The key card can also be used for the MRT and it's pre-loaded, pay for the amount consumed. The staff are gracious and they remember your preference. Will definitely come back.

This hotel is our best selected. We stay for 5 nights. You can take the MRT from Taipei Main Station to hotel by get off at Zhongshan Junior High School Station. When you get off the station down to the road then turn right, you will see 7-11 shop. Cross the road to another side of the main road, walk pass the electronic shops, a few restaurants, you will see the hotel on your left hand side. The hotel door is not very clear seen, but hotel name and logo are available. Walk inside you will see the reception desk. Their staffs are willing to help, their English are quit well. The tourist maps, brochures and pamphlets of sites of interested are available for free. Their breakfast can not say good or bad. They change menu everyday with their standard. Which are breads, jams, cereals, juices, milk, and congee with other dishes. Fried rice or noodles are available. Compare with room cost. This hotel will be our next stay when we visit Taipei again for sure. The Zhongshan Junior High School Station is the northern terminal station of the Muzha Line, the Brown Line of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, located on the border between Zhongshan and Songshan districts, Taipei, Taiwan. When the Neihu Line is completed trains will no longer reverse at the station but will instead continue northward on that line.

The Fullerton Hotel North is a very pleasant boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I keep returning to this hotel, simply because it feels cozy, only has 7 or 8 rooms per floor and it is easy to get taxis from the hotel. Just minutes away from the Songshan airport, which is a good place to take the airport bus from towards Taoyuan Airport if one wants to save on taxi fares. The hotel does a nice breakfast with western, chinese and Japanese dishes and freshly prepared egg dishes

At the time of our visit, the front desk personnel was kind enough to allow us to check in early at no cost; we checked in 4 hours early. As for the room, it was splendid! The room was in mint condition, had a nice view of the Rainbow bridge and Raohe night market, and best of all the bathroom was well stocked with the necessities. Tip: We had a difficult time locating this, we suggest that you take the 307 Songshan bound and alight at Nansongshang (Nanjin) stop then walk a little towards the intersection then turn right then turn right again after passing a restaurant. The inn is located at the 17th and 18th floor of the building.

Very close to Songshan airport, we got there in less than 5 minutes by taxi. The nearest night market is Raohe which is about 30 mins walk away. However, the location is pretty central with lots of convenience stores and eateries around. Nanxing East MRT station is only about 5-10 mins walk away. Simple is a new hotel with a professional team of staff who do take the initiative to make your stay a pleasant one. Most speak English. We booked an easy twin and an easy double room. The double was very small but perhaps it was because the room came with a balcony (which was nice to have too). The twin on the other hand was a lot more spacious with a much larger bathroom. However, the drainage for the shower was not good hence caused flooding everytime someone showered. I also felt the lighting was poor. Although it created ambience but they should have provided a brighter light for general lighting. On the other hand, it seems that no expense was spared in providing all the creature comforts - mostly good quality stuff. They even installed the Toto washlet on all the toilets. Good and efficient use of space too. Water pressure and air-conditioning was good. The selection at breakfast was sufficient and good. There's nice touches like a basket of apples near the lift, whole day coffee and tea which guests can help themselves to. Fruits in the room. We had to catch an early flight before breakfast started but they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us as well. Overall, very happy with our stay here.

Travel with groups of 5 people 19-22 Oct, 2018. Booked a 4-bed Dorm room + 1 Twin room. Nice and less crowded place to stay, away from the hussel from the Taipei city centre. 1) Room - Clean, tidy and comfortable bed. Even dorm room offer room make-up everyday. Twin room , simple with all you need for stay 2) Facility - Shared shower rooms / washroom are very clean hygiene. 3) Location - within 5 mins walk from the metro SongShan station. Just right behind SongShan Night market. 15 mins to SongShan Train station

rooms 1. stayed in the u room, abit small though, you may want to get a larger room 2. excellent design although the room size is small 3. food and drinks from the fridge and in the rooms are all free service 1. best selling point of this hotel, excellent service, actually i felt that it is even better than alot of 5 star hotel, plus the staff even remembers my room number when my driver came to pick me up while i am sitting in the lobby. 2. my wife went to the hospital because of food poisoning (street food), the staff checked if we are doing okay the next day and offered late check out for us so that we can have rest. breakfast 1. not much choices from the buffet table, but the quality is not bad, but of course, when u are at taipei, you dont eat from the hotel, you eat local food. location 1. excellent location, next door to a shopping mall, and walking distance to a mrt station. even taking a cab to 101 taipei area or wufenpu area is not too expensive. (i never use the mrt after i notice how near are all these places) others 1. if you want to make your trip pleasant, just remember that this is a boutique hotel. it wont be as huge as rooms like 4 seasons or hyatt, and it doesnt comes with those facilities they have. you are in taipei, go out and have fun and stop staying in the hotel room! honestly my wedding took place 2 days before (a 5 star hotel in subang, malaysia) the hotel stay is a disaster... but after arriving to quote hotel in taipei, we are very happy about the stay. comparing the service between quote hotel and the 5 star hotel in subang, malaysia... it make the malaysian hotel look so bad.

We checked-in to two quadruple rooms. Bed's so-so, but it is clean and smells fresh. Hotel's got free breakfast and has restaurants and convenient store nearby. Also, I encourage you to just take a cab going to Xinyi district, will only costs you around 205twd (if am not mistaken). Lastly, they have self-checkin counter that accepts Visa/Master. Staff speaks English.

It was amazing, especially this is a last minute booking, our original accommodation was very disappointing so we booked this hotel. Room is clean, deco is new. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the entrance lobby to the building is shabby. The hotel does not occupy the whole building. But don't judge a book from its cover, it's a gem hidden. Definitely a good choice

a very decent business hotel, just some five minutes by taxi away from songshan airport - which happens to be nearly in the city. the area is ok, not thrilling, but taxis do not cost the world to bring you to any place you want. the staff of the hotel welcome you very nicely and friendly and they are helpful in all aspects. i had to leave before six in the morning and they had prepared a take away breakfast.when going out they always asked whether you wanted a bottle of water to take with you. the rooms are fresh , nicely decorated, very good bathroom. i forgot a book at the hotel and they immediately remembered me and were very happy to be able to give it back. i can warmly recommend this hotel, very good price / quality relation.

Room 1511 has the best view of the river and the bustling Taipei traffic. My two-year-old has been looking for our NK Hostel room ever since we got back from our vacation. He got so attached with the view and the comfortable sheets and beddings. It is within walking distance to Raohe Market, Rainbow Bridge, and Songshan Ciyou Temple. There are good hotpot, dim sum and noodle place nearby too. They have a great breakfast that is okay for adults and children. Their facilities and other appliances are topnotch. It would be better if they scrub the bath area though. The toilet is spotless but the bath just looks a bit grimy for my standard. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay in this Hostel and would likely choose this hotel again when we come back.

Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed there from 31dec to 3jan. Bathroom amenities were well stocked. Bathroom and bedroom were very clean, the pictures provided by management did not lie! Location was great with shopping, cafes and eateries nearby. There is a Thai Massage parlour right next to the hotel that opens till late. Will definitely return when I am back in taipei again. Things to note: -Hotel was full house and with only 1 elevator to service the guest, staff and outside contractors, be prepared to wait at peak hour for the elevator. -Booked 4 business queen rooms for me and my family (3 couples and 1 single), realised their queen beds are in fact 2 super singles joined together. The duvets were also 2 super singles overlapping each other. For travellers adamant on having a genuine queen bed need to take note, but it did not pose any problems for us though. -Hotel does not allow flushing of toilet paper. Quite common in a lot of places in taiwan.

my stay at the delight hotel was a wonderful one. i stayed for a night before transiting to tokyo via the songshan international airport. the hotel is highly accessible by mrt if you are traveling from other parts of taipei and intend to head elsewhere and it is within walking distance of the songshan airport (could easily hop onto the cab and the cab fare would be just at max or take the mrt and reach there in no time). while one would not be attracted by the exterior of the hotel, i could see that the hotel had been newly refurbished as the design of the room is tasteful and the furnishing is new. i would definitely recommend this hotel for those who have a smaller budget as the hotel is definitely value for money!

1. Room's clean and new with cheap price. 2. Just near the bus station, and not far from MRT and Taipei Arena. 3. There's a KTV and movie theater about 2 bus stops from this hotel, convenient. 4. The lobby looks great, there's Drinking fountain around the corner. 1. The website's picture is facing the Dunhua N. and S. cross road, but our room is facing an old building.

The location is good to stay, near Taipei Arena MRT station, local market, local food... The check-in is quite difficult if you do not speak Chinese but the owner is very kind to support, because it is a homestay, the owner does not live near the place. It will be better if there is an instruction the way to the house, how to enter into the room, how to use the gate lock, door lock...in English sent to customer after booking is confirmed. I will come again if we go to Taipei. Thanks...

The rooms can be a bit small, but we did manage it even with big lugage. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was the best we had during 2 weeks travel in Taiwan. The staff spoke a good English und did provide helpful information. MRT is just within 1 or 2 minutes walking distance. Good opportunities for local breakfast, great coffee shops as well. Opposite the street is a watsons and a Fareastone if you'd like to buy a SimCard. Next to the hostel entrance is a supermarket (family mart). Songshan train station ist just one MRT station away. Good gateway to Jiufen or Hualien.

The renovation is a bit old and dark, but the hotel is clean. They serve fruit everyday, staff are helpful and friendly. Not very quiet, especially in the morning, too much noice from other rooms, can't sleep very well. It close to Rao He Night Market just opposite the steet, very convinience for eating. This is the point I like the best. Not very close to MRT , about 15-20 mins walk, but close to SongShan Railway Station.
