Nice, clean rooms but a bit away from the action!”
A nice, basic, no frills hotel. Ideal for a 1 or 2 night stay. The rooms were fairly spacious and the decor was modern with nice bedding! UD Town and Central are a 30minute walk away although we were lucky to find a tuk tuk and driver in the shop opposite the hotel....very handy! This is primarily a hotel catering for Thai people so patience and understanding required for farang..... but great value for money for quality of room!

Stayed here again and still feel the same. Great WiFi, Friendly and helpful staff. Shop owners nearby are great. Good parking. Great laundry service. Nice Shower. Just a little noisy at times. No toilet paper. Rock Hard bed. Yeah you’ll remember that one. Overall pretty good for the price.

Marvellous hotel”
I enjoyed my stay at Soontree. The room was nice and clean, the hotel is very new so it was a good place to stay. The staff were very nice and attentive to my needs. The best part of the stay was the BIG bed and the huge doona. After all the most important part of any hotel room is the bed and I wish I could take that bed with me everwhere I visit :-) Was amazing value for the price.

I've stayed at this excellent hotel several times before, and it's always been very comfortable in every way. It also has so much to offer in shopping opportunities within a few blocks. Since it is a block off the main street it is quiet and peaceful. As I am from the U.S., I believe a similar room there would run at least 3 times more, and without the friendly smiles and helpful staff here. Great value! I guarantee it. Galen

We did not expect that much since the price war very reasonable but we were positively surprised. Nice room setting, very pleasant and comfortable. Just a small language barrier can complicate things a bit. Considering the price you can't ask for more.

Reasonable for the amount charged. Clean rooms with attentive staff. Free coffee, Horlicks and Ramon Noodles is a definite plus. No complaints whatsoever and I will certainly stay there if I visit Udon again.

New hotel, good value for money.A bit out of the way so you need to take a tuk tuk but there are also songtows thata go past on main road.I would stay there again but best if you have a car. No breakfast and no breakfast place near the hotel.

Little far out. About 15 min walk to UD town. 25 min to central. But the hotel was well managed . I extended my stay and think that says it all
