Good quiet place to stay”
I stayed at the beachfront room, relatively cheap for the good view. You can still walk or take tricycle to the beach, as there is only one restaurant nearby. However during my stay, the internet was down so thumbs down for that.

Lyn and entire staff wonderful. Looking forward to seeing them again when back in El Nido. Beautiful view from house balcony and convenient private tour boat pick up right at the front door. No need going to town. Highly recommend.

Good place to stay”
Out here ballin on a budget and for $35 a night, Sophia’s was a comfortable stay. AC worked great, breakfast was good (we just had toast because they don’t really have vegan options), staff was helpful. Only thing I could think of complaining about was that you have to be in the lobby for the WiFi but we were out all day we so didn’t really care. Would book again when we come back to El Nido.

Budget hotel”
Good value for money Easily accessible from the town centre and stunning view of the ocean and cliff rock formation. The hotel is reasonably clean though I recon it’s hard for the staff due to its proximity to the beach causing sand to go inside the reception area and the movement of people going in and out of the inn. The bathroom is very clean on our on suite and there is hot water in the shower which is great. The brilliant staff are friendly, courteous and are always willing to help. The facilities are adequate considering its a budget hotel. There is always hot and cold water in the communal area for tea/coffee. The air conditioning is functioning well. I highly recommend this hotel for people on a budget. The motif is traditional Filipino interior. Breakfast is tasty. Thank you!

Nice place but not for the price”
The place cleanliness and location were all great. But for 80 dollars a night you can get a lot more in a hotel in that area. Or you can find a similar place for less maybe around 40 or 50 a night. We were booking last minute so there weren't a ton of options available and we stayed there. Don't get me wrong it's nice but the set up is weird. For instance the room opens up to the lobby. I had people making their morning coffee directly outside my door so I could hear them in the morning. The beach at Corong Corong is super rocky and has LOTS of garbage and boats so it's not nice for swimming. Breakfast is decent but not amazing. I don't know it just wasn't spectacular and for 80 a night I think it should be better.

Acceptable”
After spending a few days at Caalan Beach, Corong Corong beach was a bit of a disappointment. The beach was very rocky and littered with garbage. There wasn't much to do in this area except for the local market and La Plage Restaurant which we frequented. Breakfast was okay, but we couldn't even get a cold beer at the Hotel. We booked the beachfront room which opened up on to a public walkway, not at all like the pictures. The staff seemed more interested in their cell phones than their customers. The beachfront tables were lovely however.

Great Stay”
They booked for our ride roundtrip to Puerto Princesa. Also, they arranged our tours. Location is a bit far from the center but we are beach front and it is so lovely to see the sea view sunrise and sunset. Although swimming at the beach is not recommended because of rocks and weeds. We requested a sea view room and they gladly accommodated this request. You will definitely hear the waves at night when you sleep. Breakfast is good and big serving. Dont expect TV, we are tired enough during the tour so not interested to watch TV anyway but if you like some entertainment they dont have TV inside the room. Internet/Wifi is poor as expected in the entire island I guess. There are things they can improve on like door locks at the balcony of the sea view room and room service. But over all I would recommend this accommodation.

Picture on internet were very deceiving. ”
The entrance to this establishment was unwelcoming and in disarray. We were not quite sure if this was the establishment. It was under construction so there were a lot of noises. The rooms felt crowded and dark with a lot of rules that indicates fines. They would not clean the room daily, only every other day including fresh towels. The room was well air conditioned and the food was good. The location was feasible. Staff was friendly and accommodating although we asked to freeze our ice pack for medication and it was destroyed with their attempt to get it out of the freezer. But I guess you get what you pay for. We can’t expect a whole lot with the cost of the room.

Above average”
I like the fact that it was really cheap for two nights. Although i would not recommend my friends to stay here because of the facilities. Pros: cheap, the view of limestone cliffs on the balcony and comes with breakfast, receptionist were nice to us. Cons: the bathroom was clean but i could not get over the stench of the bathroom and the room. It smelled like wet clothes that was not able to dry.

Staff, rooms and breakfast was AMAZING, love the view from the beachfront AND balcony. Great space to enjoy alone time and/or meet other travelers.Breakfast was very yummy and I recommend having it on the balcony. Only fault was that there was a few blackouts but staff were great and quick to respond. Enjoyed playing cards in the common areas when the power was out :)

Descent place to stay”
The location of this place is nice and the view is great specially in the morning. Staff are kind and friendly, and coffee is unlimited just ask the on duty staff for it. Breakfast in the morning is good although they serve very little thumb-sized longanisa or hotdog. Wi-fi is very very slow to useless and if you think of uploading videos on the internet, it's not gonna happen. Their version of a family room is mediocre, it is also tight and we were squeezed like sardines in a can, it's like bumper to bumper on a freeway. But the worst is the water pressure in the shower, it is way too slow, i hope they can improve it. But it's El Nido and most of the average hotel are the same. If you're expecting a luxurious stay, look elsewhere. But if you ask me if I want to come back, I will. Hope to see you soon.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Myself and my friend got food poisoning on the last night from a place in town and we were unable to leave our room for check out time.. the staff said we could check out when we were ready which was very kind of them! The guesthouse is located right on the beach front, although the beach directly Infront is a bit rocky, if you walk about 3 mins left then you can walk in and out of the sea easily. The guesthouse is located about 5 minutes away from the town so it's a lot quieter than staying in the centre and only costs 50 pesos to get there. Highly recommend staying here!

we stayed here for 6d5n and it was a lovely experience. the staff and owner are nice and accommodating. the best part is the view in front of the guesthouse every morning. it was like what I imagined it to be - sand sea sky plus the rock mountain which made the place truly amazing. we already recommended this place to our friends and will surely come back here given another opportunity. I only hope that they would have a better internet connection and simple dinner options ;)

Location was a quick 5 mins ride away from El Nido town and offered a very beautiful view of Bacuit Bay. Very friendly hotel staff although some improvements needed on the services such as shower heater not functioning, room was not cleaned daily by staff, fresh towels not provided daily, breakfast menu limited and serving size very small.
