I had stayed at sotetsu fresa inn Nagoya station Shinkansen exit for 5 days. The staff were kind and helpful with the check in, the room is quite small but still good for two people to put the luggage. I must say the toilet is very, very clean and the bed is also very comfortable. I will definitely stay at any sotetsu fresa inn from now onwards if I visit Japan again. I happened to have an incident whereby I I accidentally left my travel pouch under the bed when I was packing the luggage, but did not check under the bed again when I check out. I only notice when I reached Osaka so I quickly emailed sotetsu fresa inn if they are able to find this particular pouch under the bed. Hara, the reception staff replied promptly informing they would check and update again. Yes, they manage to locate and I asked if they would be able to courier the pouch to my country at my expenses. The next day, Hara, contacted a 3rd delivery agent to liaise with me to courier the pouch. As I am writing this review today, I just received the parcel. Everything was intact and in excellent condition! Miss Hara Chihiro from the reception, if you’re reading this message, I would like to express my appreciation for going the extra mile to assist. The location is very close to the train station. The room is quiet and clean, and the facilities are quite new. On the first floor, there is a self-service area where you can take small packages of makeup remover, cleansing milk, face masks, bath salts, etc. without wasting anything. The best part is that I realized I forgot to bring my charger when I arrived at the next city. I called and asked, and they said they would help me send an international package. They are really thoughtful. Highly recommended!

The location is about a 5-10 minute walk from Nagoya Station, with convenient transportation options such as subway, JR, and Shinkansen. There is a Lawson convenience store on the corner downstairs from the hotel, and many restaurants in the surrounding area. The hotel staff speaks good English and provides friendly service. Although the rooms are not large, they have all the necessary amenities, and the water pressure from the showerhead in the bathroom is excellent. The bed is comfortable, and the environment is quiet, allowing for a good rest during your travels.

Made the right first impression ”
It was our first time in Japan and I'm happy I found this hotel in Agoda. The hotel is very clean and the amenities are all adequate and complete. I love how despite the small spaces, it just felt so right for the two of us. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious and filling. Everyone in the hotel was very pleasant and helpful to us despite the language barrier. I can somehow understand and speak Nihongo but the staff can speak and understand English which made it more comfortable for us whenever we needed help. The hotel is also very near to Nagoya Shinkansen statuon and other train and bus stations so moving around the area is very easy. Overall, we will definitely recommend this hotel especially to first timers and when we go visit, I'll rebook this hotel again.
