We had a wonderful 10-day stay at sotestu fresa inn. All the staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. The checking-in and checking-out services are super quick and convenient. (To check in, you just show your passport and your booking confirmation to the staff and they will direct you to a machine to complete the check in process. To check out, you just simply return your keys to the machines and you are done) For the free breakfast meal, you either get a toast meal or the croissant meal. Both options are light and fresh and they come with a beverage, and the portion size is just right per person. The rooms are much smaller than what we expected, but it’s manageable. The cleaning staffs do a great job everyday tidying up the room and we really appreciate that. We also used the coin laundry service on the 8th floor. It’s 300 yen to use the washer for a cycle and 100 yen per 30 minutes to use the dryer. There are also vending machines and ice machine on the 8th floor. The location of this hotel is also super great as it is 3 minutes away by foot to the kayabacho metro station and a 15 minutes walk to the Tokyo station. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who’s looking to stay in Tokyo without breaking your wallet.
Perfect place to stay in Tokyo”
Sotetsu Fresa Inn is in the perfect location and has the perfect staff. It's right next to Kayabacho subway station and a short walk to Nihombashi subway station. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. The staff spoke great English and were very helpful. They loaned us an umbrella when it rained and it was so windy it broke. We brought it back and they didn't even charge us. I highly recommend staying here.
Tourists friendly hotel”
I booked 3rooms ie 2single rooms for my daughter and son respectively which were comfortable to them plus the cabin style bathrooms which were interesting to us and double single bedroom for both myself and my husband. Since we booked quite last minute, i could not get a bigger room for both of us. That was not the hotel mistake after all. I could not ask for more. It was quiet and peaceful both inside and outside the hotel area. Not too far from TokyoJR station and shoplots building plus restaurants. As we are muslim family, convenience store surroundings the hotel areas were a great help for us to buy foods for us. Subways were nearby too, we can reach many places that we intend to go. Most of all, the hotel staffs were great. Anytime we need help, they will help us fully hearted. We feel like home staying in Sotetsu Fresa Inn, Tokyo.
Convenient Hotel near Nihombashi”
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi-Kayabacho is located just a short walk away from Kayabacho Metro Station. It is also a short walk away from Mitsukoshi-mae Station as well as Nihombashi Station which has a rapid rail access on the Asakusa Line to both Haneda and Narita airports. The room was just right with everything you need including complimentary amenities like toiletries and bath salts that you could get at the lobby. Breakfast was included in the rate which is a choice of a toast or croissant set with salad, half-boiled egg and coffee or tea.
Great Location! Wonderful Staff ”
We stayed at Sotetsu - Kayabacho for 7 nights and the stay was comfortable. Bed were bigger than most hotels in tokyo but rooms just as small. Breakfast was offered but only 2 options available. after 4 days of same breakfast i decided to skip the remaining. Kayabacho subway station only 2 minutes away while Nihombashi station that connects to Haneda airport directly is about 10mins walk. there were plenty of nice restaurants around the area, and also multiple convenience stores. Hotel provides free face masks, bath salts and some other self care products which was really thoughtful. The staff was amazing. Friendly and courteous.
We stayed our first night in Tokyo then ahead to Hakone for few days, we lefted some of our luggage in hotel until we returned to Tokyo.~our luggage was well look after ~ Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi Kayabacho is a high technology hotel , you can self check in by using their machines in the reception area, for the first time user, We made many mistakes but the hotel's staff friendly helped us ~ helpful staff ~ Staff are friendly but their English level are limited ~ for international hotel may be hard to communicate with guests ~ They provided electronic devices for monitoring cafe area , laundry usage and information for sightseeing This hotel provide complementary bath powder, facial mask, etc. :)
New Hotel is good”
This hotel was opened on Sep 2018, so everything is very new. Location near Tokyo station just 2 metro station and Kayabacho Metro station near Nihombashi so you can access Tokyo easily. I stayed in few others FRESA INNs before so room almost same with other FRESA INNs, size a little bit small but same with other japanese hotel. One of the new function is the in-room tablet can check the usage of laundry room and the remaining time , it is very convenient! Nice staff maybe they not used to communicate with foreign guest but english is fine. The only thing is the WIFI, usually in night time the signal is FULL but the speed is very slow, no matter watching Youtube or Facebook / Website, IT IS VERY SLOW.
We had a wonderful stay!”
We were in Tokyo for 11 nights and had a very pleasant stay at Sotetsu Fresa. The employees were friendly and helpful, breakfast was included (although you can only choose between two breakfast sets), our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it is such a great location! Kayabacho station is just around the corner and the Hibiya line takes you to Ueno, Akihabara, Tsukiji, Ginza etc. There are several good restaurants in the area as well as 24/7 supermarkets. Def recommend this hotel!
Excellent Place For a Quick Stay!”
I was travelling to Tokyo for a business-related meeting, and staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn in Nihonbashi (Kayabacho area) made it a smooth process. I was definitely a bit of a needy guest as I requested a quiet room to get ample sleep for the next day ahead, however the staff were quick to assist me with this. Additionally, since check-out was at 10AM and I had no other place to keep my luggage, the luggage service (free) was a huge help; I had to come back to change in and out of my suit a couple times, but they were happy to hold my luggage in a locked/monitored area for me throughout the day until I had finished up with everything. Absolutely A+ service! I booked a week before my stay date and was able to get a double-bed in a non-smoking room for roughly 3200 yen, which despite being a small room, the comfy and large bed was my main concern/appeal point. Some people here complain about the size of the room, but for 1 person on a business trip, it was more than enough room.
Thank you for using this time. I am glad to receive many praise words. As you might expect, it seemed like you enjoyed your stay. The hotel is often used for business and does not spend much time in the room, but has a large bed to sleep comfortably. Please use it for your next stay in Japan. I look forward to seeing you again.
There’s only word appropriate for this Hotel and its staff, and that is EXCELLENT! Everything is EXCELLENT! Thank you so much SOTETSU FRESA INN NIHOMBASHI-KAYABACHO branch! Thank you too AGODA! SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!
Solid location, unquestionable service.”
The average room is a little small for two people and their luggage -- but if you're staying more than ten hours at a time in the room while staying in Tokyo you're doing something wrong. Breakfast is sparing in comparison to standard fare in the States, but to be frank there are five convenience stores within three blocks and an excellent fruit stand on the opposite side of the block facing the hotel. Kayabacho is two stops from Tsukiji, and the entrance of the Kayabacho station is less than 100 meters from the front door of the hotel. Being on the Hibiya line, animation and game hobbyists can get to Akihabara without transfers. Skipping the Kayabacho station and walking to Nihonbashi puts you on the Asakusa line, which one can transfer from at Shimbashi to get to Odaiba. Alternately, the Asakusa line will get you to Senso-ji temple. One can also walk to the station between Tsukiji and Kayabacho (Hatchobori) to take a Keiyo line to Maihama and thus Tokyo Disneyland. The 8th and 4th floors have vending machines and laundry facilities, while the 4th floor has a microwave to reheat meals one can get at the convenience stores nearby. In addition to take-home food, there are a few restaurants nearby -- a yakitori restaurant, a Yoshinoya, and an Udon place right around the corner that's open until 10-11pm. Use Tabelog to get food options that are farther afield. Finally, remember that your room card is both used to access the elevator on the 1st floor, but is also necessary to run most of the power in the hotel room once it's placed in the cradle by the light switch near the door.
Second time here, great value for money”
It was my second time at the Fresa Inn Nihombashi, this time solo. Previously I stayed there with my wife. Quite close to the Nihombashi subway station and a couple of kombinis, very convenient. Facilities and staff ate good. They even offer a free small breakfast at the cafeteria inside the hotel. Rooms are rather small but good enough for a couple of nights of sleep. Prices were great, best I've seen in Japan! Would stay another time therr of needed.
Felipe 様 Thank you very much for your stay at our hotel. We are grateful for receiving a valuable evaluation. I am very pleased that you have liked us. I am happy if you can use the hotel again. Sotetsu Fressa In Nihombashi Kayabacyo Front: Shinohara
clean, best bidet!”
Our first night in Tokyo was spent in Fresa Inn near Kayabacho station. It is located in the CBD area so no dodgy red light district nearby or dodgy ccharacters. Only two mins walk to train station, very convenient. Staff was very polite and helpful and I love the bidet in my room!! If I had extra money, I would get the exact same type. I would definitely stay in sotetsu Fresa Inn again.
Centrally located and well networked for getting around Tokyo.”
With the Kayabacho station only a few minutes walk from the Inn, the Sotetsu Inn was a fantastic place to stay. Remember to check the room sizes as it’s cramped for two travellers with big luggage! All around great place with super friendly staff. Guests are able to pick up a few items for free such as combs, razors and other such toiletries in the evening at the front desk after your day of discovering Tokyo.
Dear Mr/Ms. Pyay Thank you for your contribution to the review, thanks for the high evaluation. Thank you very much. I heard that you were satisfied, so we are very pleased. We look forward to seeing you soon on your next visit. front desk Yokota
Very Helpful Staff, Value for Money, good Location”
I stayed one night with Sotetsu Fresa, the staff was friendly and helpful, they helped post my left behind stuff after checked out, really appreciate their intergrity and kind help. The room is as of the average Japan hotel room, small but has all necessary stuff. Although I stayed in a smoking room, the room is clean. It's only a few mins walk to Kayabacho subway station, the neighbourhood is quiet and good for business stay.
Great value for money!”
This was the cheapest hotel that I found which includes breakfast @ $66/night. I booked 4 days before we arrive and It could have been cheaper if I booked it earlier. It was easy to find. You can either ride a taxi from tokyo station and just show the address of the hotel in japanese to the driver or ride the train going to kayabacho station T line exit 7. After going up the stairs turn to your right at at the first corner turn left, go straight and you will see it at the right side. The staff were friendly and they provide lots of toiletries, towels and slippers so you don't need to bring anything except toothpaste and lotion. They provided even the pajamas. There are restaurants outside like yoshinoya and an udon restaurant. There's also a family mart near and some other shops. The rooms and bathroom are small but it's still fine and comfy. The aircon works well and the bed is really soft. The breakfast is simple but filling (2 toasts, 1 egg, a salad and a choice of your drinks. Disney is just 30mins away from the hotel and also very near asakusa, ueno, ginza, tokyo and many others. I will definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to save money and still get more out of it. ^^,
Good Value for Money”
The hotel is two minutes walk from Exit 7 or Exit 8 of Kayabacho Station of the Hibiya line of Tokyo Metro. It’s only a couple stops away from the Tokyo station. If you plan to visit the Imperial Palace or the Tsukiji Fish Market, this will be a convenient place to stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. I needed to go to Fujisan the next day after my stay with them, but there was typhoon going on and I wanted to contact my hotel at Fujisan area to know whether it’s possible to travel there. A young lady at the reception kindly made the phone call to my Fujisan hotel for information. The room is small with no view, but clean and cozy. However, I could not manage to turn on the TV. They gave away packed onsen powder at the lobby. The breakfast is basic, but fresh and delicious. There are a couple of Japanese fast food chain stores just steps away from the hotel so you could eat out conveniently. You can check in after 3pm and need to check out by 10am. You could pay extra money to check in early/check out late. Alternatively, you could leave your luggage at the hotel for free before check in or after check out. This is very convenient. Overall, with the very reasonable price, this is good hotel to stay for your Tokyo trip.
Good value for money”
The first room we stayed in smelled of smoke in the bathroom, but the staff moved us to another room the moment we complained and the second room was fine. The hotel is fairly basic, but good value, especially with breakfast included. The location is quite good, but we found that there is actually another Sotetsu Fresa Inn closer to Nihombashi and Suitengumae stations which is even more conveniently located for subway travel. Overall we had a good stay and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone travelling on a budget if the other Sotetsu Inn is not available or significantly more expensive.
After staying in a hostel-style place for a few nights I was so happy to be at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn! Being able to have my own bathroom and a private room for this price was perfect. It was also very close to a private train line--it was a bit out of the way but still convenient. I did have a difficult time finding it--google maps kept trying to send me to the wrong place.
Well Located and Great Staff”
This isn't my first time to Tokyo so I knew what to expect in terms of room size (central Tokyo hotels tend to have very small rooms, with barely any place to store yourself, much less your luggage). However, Fresa Inn did a good job with the limited space, had lockers downstairs to keep luggage, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I chose this place because they offered decent sized beds and the location is close to Tokyo central station. To get here, you can walk from Tokyo station via underground walkways to the subway line and two short stops later, you get out at Karabacho exit 7, right by the hotel. Breakfast was a bit weird... only two choices, but actually the food was good enough for a start to the day. I would definitely stay here again.
