A great place to stay with reasonable price”
Stayed 3 nights at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi-Ningyocho and love it. Prices are reasonable. Not too difficult to find as I asked the staff from the train station and they showed me the map. There are lots of restaurants when you walk down the street. Staffs at the hotel are also friendly. Room is small (but thats so common in Japan) but clean. Will recommend to take shuttle instead of train to the airport. Its take about 10 mins walk to the bus station and take about an hour straight to the airport. Faster and cheaper :) will definitely come back when I visit Tokyo next time.
Good location and friendly staff”
The hotel was located near the Ningyocho and Suitengumae station i.e. 5 minutes walk. The room was considered small but we did not mind as it was very clean. The staff performance was impeccable and they can speak basic English quite well. There was an incident whereby one of our luggage was damaged due to mishandled by the hotel staff whilst being transferred to our next hotel in Kyoto. The hotel repeatedly requested our hotel in Kyoto to speak to us once we have checked-in. The staff concerned apologize for the inconvenience and agreed to replace our damaged luggage. Indeed, they honored their promise and the luggage was delivered to our hotel in Kyoto the following day. Kudos to the staff of Sotetsu Fresa Inn. We were really impressed.
Convenient, value for money”
Fresa Inn has branches around central Tokyo. Nihonbashi-Ningyocho branch is rather central and only 3 mins walk from Suitengumae station or 5 mins walk from Ningyocho station. There are restaurants and convenience store around the hotel. While the room is small, the price is really value for money. I paid $134 and they allow up to 2 person for the room. Which is ok if you split it by 2. The room is clean, and smoke free. Fresa inn also provides really good amenities kit. Wifi is also available in the room for free. Breakfast is a steal for Japan standard at 650yen per person. That is the price of a Macdonald's meal. I would definitely recommend this inn to my friends!
Very nice location and excellent faciilties”
We were first time travelers to Japan and stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn for one night as we were leaving the next day. The proximity to Tokyo Station makes this an excellent choice to connect to eihter Narita or Haneda Airports. Our knowledge of the Japanese language is extremely limited, but this was not an issue. The staff was excellent in helping us with questions, getting a cab, directions to dinning, etc... Price for accomodations was excellent for the size of the rooms. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.
DEAL OF THE DAY through AGODA”
I noticed this on AGODA DEAL OF THE DAY and it was a great deal paying on average less than RM400 / night. Stayed here a total of 3 nights before extending through the counterfront. The staff were really helpful. There are good food within walking distance aside from Ningyocho sta & Suitenguemae Sta + T-CAT also. A amateur coffee lover so we went to check the Hario HQ near Ningyocho Sta, there are also plenty of food outlets on the street between Ningyocho sta & Suitengue Mae station. If you do not mind walking, even Nihombashi is not far. We went there to check out Hario Lamp Factory and Birdy+Brompton bike store. This hotel makes it so easy for you to commute to other landmarks like Tokyo Tree, Asakusa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo Sta & more.
I made a reservation at two different Sotetsu Fresa Inns and both made my experience at Tokyo really great. The room was relatively small when compared to other accommodations of different countries, but not particularly small regarding other rooms of Japan, which is widely accepted to be small. Anyways, every other values which I think a good hotel should possess were displayed throughout the whole hotel, which includes hygiene and service manners. I highly recommend you to stay in this place if you are planning to visit neighboring areas of Tokyo.
Thank you for staying with us in Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi Ningyocho. We are really glad to hear that you had very nice time here. We are looking forward to seeing you here in the near future. Best regard, Receptionist Otemori
Clean, comfortable, and convenient ”
This small inn is clean and comfortable, on a quiet street a few minutes’ walk from Ningyocho and Suitengumae stations on the Hibiya subway line, and convenient to Kayabacho and Nihombashi subway stations as well. I purchased an all-day subway pass at the front desk. It was also an easy cab ride to Tokyo Station (it cost me ¥800 from the nearby avenue), and the airport bus terminal (Hakozaki) was also nearby. The hotel was clean and secure; the desk staff was helpful. Though my room was not large, it was adequate to sleep off jet lag, store my belongings, and serve as a base from which to visit the city. The housekeeper kept it very clean. The neighborhood was safe. There were convenience stores and many restaurants within easy walking distance, including coffee shops, pubs, McDonald’s, bistros, a curry shop, conveyor-belt (kaiten) sushi and regular sushi bars. The inn also had laundry facilities. Sometimes I got confused getting back - make sure to get a map from the desk staff.
A nice little surprise!”
I stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn for 5 days for a conference. This hotel is not easy to locate as it is situated in the middle of some random buildings in a small alley. It is not located on the main road. We had some difficulty locating the hotel initially as the directions are all in japanese. However, upon check in, the place was a nice surprise. The reception can speak english and are very helpful with questions. The rooms are of a relatively good size and the bathroom is of a decent size as well. Rooms are well kept and neat. Mini fridge is very useful to store snacks that can be purchased at the nearby 7-11 or family mart. Free coffee after 9pm and also free amenities near the lifts, which I felt was a nice touch! There are plenty of food on the main street and some of them close very late, hence hunting for supper is not an issue. The hotel is nearest to the Suitengumae station of the Hanzomon line, but I mainly use the Nigyocho station of the Hibiya line which I feel is the most convenient station between the 2. I give this hotel a rating of 4/5.
very happy with my stay”
no doubt, i will stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi-Ningyocho for my next stay. it is a very convenient location! lots of attraction are within 20-35min ride away. and yet it is quiet at night to sleep. extremely helpful staff!
nice stay in Tokyo”
It's good to stay in Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi-Ningyocho. Since we are a family with 2 kids, we stayed in two separated semi-double rooms. It's okay for an adult with a kid. But, if you travel with 2 adults, you may need bigger room or bigger bed size. Besides tiny bed sizes or room sizes are concerned, everything there is great to be recommended. We may choose it next time to Tokyo.
Hotel near to almost all locations”
Near to tokyo station, 2 mrt station hibiya line or from haneda airport on Asakusa line at ningyocho station exit A2 & exit A3 & A6 with elevators for luggages, hanzomon line suitengu-mae station exit 8 (5-7mins walk). Near hotel many eating shops eg : sushi, western, bento set with reasonable price. fast foods kfc & mcd. Quiet place with friendly ppls. If you want to go Tsukiji market, Ueno, Akihabara use hibiya line ningyocho or go shibuya, ginza , skytree area use hanzomon line. Hotel breakfast only 2 option every morning, wish could do buffet option in future. Free coffee 3pm onwards at lobby. Coin washer machine at lobby too. Overall good. If late check in just email to hotel & inform them. 7-11 & family mart nearby for supper. Mostly shops in Tokyo close at 8pm /9pm. Mrt till midnight.
Great choice for accom in Tokyo”
A great stay at the Fresa Inn. Excellent service, nice room & breakfast. Fantastic neighbourhood location - lots of access to food. A little negotiating required to get there, but worth it!From Tokyo JR station go to Akihabiri JR station & then to Ningyocho metro station (Hibiya line)- exit A2. 130m walk. Done once, then very easy!
Great customer service, friendly staff, clean!”
Very pleasant stay. My mother actually left her earrings in the room by accident (post check-out) and only realised it when we were on our flight back home. We called up the kind staff the moment we landed and explained the situation. The kind employees followed up on the matter and found the earrings. They will be helping us to post the earrings back upon us covering the postal charges. Thank you for all your help, Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi-Ningyocho employees! We appreciate it!
Nice place to rest at night”
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Tokyo despite arriving in Japan with Typhoon Vongfong :) It was on the second day of our trip that the typhoon was expected inTokyo, so we went back early to the hotel after half a day of touring, so we could avoid the rain. Glad for the rain coz we were able to have our afternoon "siesta". Their beds are cozy to sleep in. Good thing that the hotel is near a lot of restos and shops, so we were able to sneak out for a while late in the afternoon to have an early dinner. What we loved so much about the hotel is it's in a very quiet street and away from the noise of the main street. The Suitengumae and Ningyocho Stations of the Tokyo Metro is so nearby that it's so easy to get around Tokyo. It is also just a walking distance to the Tokyo City Air Terminal, so getting to Tokyo and back to Narita Airport was a breeze. The only downside to our stay is the very small double room. I should have booked for the twin room which has a bigger area size.
Great location and value for money”
There are 3 subway stations near the hotel, giving access to 4 subway lines - direct to attractions such as Ueno, Asakusa, Tokyo Station, Akihabara and Tsukiji Market. We arrived and departed from Tokyo Station so the location is very convenient. The best exit to use if you luggage is Exit A6 on Ningyocho Station. It is also 15 minutes walking to JR Hatchobori Station, which from there is 13 minutes train ride to Maihama Station on JR Keiyo Line to go to Disneyland and Disneysea. There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores for food and drug stores for baby food and diapers. We stayed in Twin Room so it is pretty spacious for the whole family. Two double beds and the walkway which allowed us to open two large luggage at the same time. We love the freebies - bath salt among others. They also serve free coffee in the afternoon. The only problem is laundry - the dryer did not dry properly.
Thank you very much for staying at our hotel and leaving a review. We are happy to hear you liked your stay and its location. We are looking forward to your next visit here.Reception Seto
Location! Location! Location!”
This hotel’s best features are the combination of reasonable price and great location. The hotel is 10 minutes walking distance of the subway station SuitenguMae. From here it’s only minutes away to Tokyo Central station; Akihabara electric land; the historical area of Asakusa; the museums, markets and Zoo of Ueno; and the spectacular new Skytree which includes an impressive aquarium. The area around the Fresa hotel is itself very interesting. Walking distance restaurants are abundant, many of them very reasonably priced. The main roads and sidewalks are wide and comfortable, with plenty of greenery around. The Sumida River is about 15 minutes walk away. Quite picturesque and worth a visit. Hotel rooms are typically rather small. I actually managed to organise a slighter larger room for just a small extra fee. The receptionist I spoke to spoke good English and was very efficient. Really, all the staff were helpful, although some were hesitant to speak English. In the middle of Tokyo it may seem a bit surprising but this is often the case in business-style and smaller hotels in Japan. Although the hotel doesn’t have airport shuttle service, The Airport bus station is about 15-20 minutes away and very easily accessible. The coaches are very comfortable. I didn't eat at this hotel, so I can't comment about the food.
A nice hotel not easy to find but otherwise great”
The google directions was not that clear since road names where not specified. We took the Airport bus to TCAT and walked towards Royal Park Hotel.Took a left at the big street and crossed the street to 7-11. Unfortunately 7-11 staff is not aware that Sotetsu Fresa Inn is just at the back of their building.Took us a few minutes to find it due to wrong informations.I like the hotel since it is near a lot of restaurants, food stalls, convenience stores and subways. The hotel is new and clean.Staff are courteous and speaks good English.
Very satisfied ”
I stayed here twice in one trip: The first four nights of my trip, and the last two nights. My stay was broken only by one night in a hostel, just to satisfy my curiosity. Loved my stay here. It’s right next door to an izakaya that serves delicious kaki fry (breaded oysters) and a short walking distance to a great katsu place called Fujiki. They also serve kaki fry. The location is served by several subway lines. It’s a relatively quiet corner of Tokyo but not out of the way. Fresa Inn was a comfortable home base for my Tokyo explorations. Appreciated all the staff’s assistance — from keeping my luggage, to calling for a taxi, and safekeeping mail that I had delivered to the hotel.
Thank you very much for staying at our hotel. We also appreciate you for taking your time for the review. We are happy to hear you found your stay comfortable overall. It seems like you enjoyed some local food. We hope you have next chance to visit here, and get to enjoy your stay again. Reception Mastuura
Comfortable, quiet, and clean.”
During my time in Tokyo, my stay at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn was comfortable and I waa able to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel amenities such as a self-service laundry provided extra service.
Friendly staff, clean hotel”
Staffs were friendly. Rooms are small but it's common in Tokyo~ It's very clean and comfortable, nothing to complain~Location wise is still ok, can access by Ningyocho station, too bad it's not JR station if not you can save your $ by JR Pass~we choose to walk for about 1km from JR station (Shin-Nihombashi) instead~since we stayed for 5 nights there~we save around 5000 yen by did so~
