I really loved this hotel! Although the rooms are realllllly small (I could barely fit my slightly-larger-than-carry-on-size suitcase between the table and the bed), the cleanliness, ease of access to everything, and convenience more than made up for the lack of space! So first of all, there's a Family Mart and a restaurant that works with the hotel right on the first floor, with doors into both of those places straight from within the hotel. I personally really liked having the Family Mart there because Family Marts use Japan Post ATMs now, and I use Japan Post Bank, so that was just super nice. Also, if you get a breakfast-included room package, then you just need to zip into the restaurant every morning and yay, breakfast! It's a pretty full breakfast too (I actually had to take my leftovers to-go a couple times because I couldn't finish it...). The hotel lobby is on the second floor, and the elevators always stop on the lobby floor for security reasons (or... that's what the sticker says in the elevator). Check in and check out are really easy, and the staff are very proactive in making sure the process is smooth. There are also some small amenities you can pick up in the lobby (like tea packets, one-use sunscreen packets, hairbrushes, shaving cream, bath salts, etc) from 3PM to midnight. Again, the actual rooms are small, but it's fine. It's just a place to sleep and shower/bathe anyway. Rooms come with slippers, pajamas, all the bathroom amenities that you might need, clothing freshener, and a water boiler + mugs if you wanna make your own tea/coffee. There's also a pretty sizable TV (I wanna say it's maybe... a 30ish inch screen?), so that's nice. There wasn't much of a view where my room was, but eh, that didn't matter to me. Everything was very clean. Lastly, this hotel is within 5-10 minutes walking of many train stations and bus stops. We was relieved to hear that it was delicious enough to make you full and want to bring the room. As you said, the elevator at this hotel stops on the 2nd floor for security reasons. Until now, the elevator stopped on the second floor when going down, but now it doesn't stop when going down. Thank you for complimenting the automatic check-in machine. However, we are sorry that the scenery is not good. We want to prepare a room with a view as much as possible, but since it is a downtown area, the view is not good a little bit in some room. Amazing value - great location, room and facilities”
We felt that we got amazing bang for buck at this hotel. Modern automated machine check-in was seamless and easy, check-out by the same machine was equally easy. A staff was there to assist. Location is excellent, very close to the Namba station and accessible by escalator at nearby Takashimaya. Super close to major shopping malls, short walk to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi and Nipponbashi. The room has a bathtub, full toiletries amenities and a fair television channel selection (mostly local channels). The room is very comfortable and clean, and I thought that the beds were great. Two pillows were provided, one firm and one soft for choice. There's an annexed FamilyMart convenience store in the same building on the ground floor. Excellent hotel in every way.

Great hotel in a very convenient location”
Fantastic! I love that this hotel is just next to Osaka Metro exit no. 7 and just across Nankai railways that I used to transfer to and from the airport. Self check-in and check-out through their designated computers was a first for me and was a bliss! There are available freebies you can take at the lobby before the elevators. By the way, the lobby is at the second floor so please don't be surprised with an empty room when you first entered the doors. There's a family mart downstairs and a few restaurants around. Coin laundry is also available (I love this too). There's a tablet in the room you can use to surf the internet and know some info about the hotel. In my case, I used it to check the coin laundry machines' availabillity and to monitor how many minutes left before I collect my clothes. Amazing :) They use filtered water system, water from the faucet is potable. Staff are also very helpful and accomodating. They assisted me well. They can keep your luggage before your check-in if you happen to arrive early, or after check-out if you want to stroll around first before heading to the airport. Over all, I had a fantastic stay here and would love to stay here again someday! :)

One of the best stay in Japan”
Location is great, only 3-5mins to different namba stations(Nankai Namba, JR Namba and Metro Namba). Fantastic to stay here if you going to explore the surrounding cities. Also, there is a 24 hr Aeon Kohyo supermarket nearby, only 6 mins walk. Check-in and check-out were so easy with the kiosks. We chose a deluxe twin room which is 18m2, we are able to open our suitcases without blocking the way to the bathroom. And you can put two semi double beds together to make a super King size bed. It was the best sleep thru out the 11-day trip. Great mattress, pillows and quilt. Shower is nice and hot. WC has seat warming function which is a plus in winter time. Coin laundry, microwave, ice machine, extra personal care (skin care sachets, hair gel, coffee and tea) are located on the lobby floor. What can I ask for more? I wish I could stay longer in this hotel. Highly recommended!

Great Location, Clean and Friendly staffs”
Location is amazing, comparing to price. It made my day. You can reach popular attractions such as Shinsaibashi, Glico within 10 min by walking. Also close to Namba Station for traveling back to Airport or going to other towns. Next to Family Mart on ground floor. Rooms are new and clean with enough facilities. However, Lobby is not much large. It may not convenience for you if you come with family (for me, 6) and arrive/depart the hotel at peak time. Just note as it might be your concern.

The Hotel has an excellent location being so near Dotonbori area and Shinsaibashi. it is very clean and new. The staff are all,helpful, friendly and courteous. Location is perfect. Its in the city centre (Namba). Staff was very helpful. New facilities. Everything is newly equipped. Good price for the value. Would recommend to those who is looking for a stay upon late arrival from the Kansai airport. We arrived at 9.45, took train to Nankai Namba at 11, arrived at 11.40. 12.00 am check in.

Clean, New Hotel”
Location is very good. Located near Exit 7 of Osaka Metro, and a stone's throw away from the Rapit station from the airport. Dohtonburi and Kuromon Market are super near. Rooms are very new and clean, and so many amenities for ladies (bath salts, even a full range of facial Care products). There's a restaurant and Family Mart at the first floor of the hotel, which was also very convenient! Highly recommended!

Located in shopping centre. Quite room. 2 x 4' double beds are confortable. Bathroom is clean like new built and wheel-chair accessible. Small floor spaces near entrance are enough for 1 and half (full sized) baggages. Needed to close the baggages after use to made room. No view.

Very easy access to the Namba subway and the train to Kansai airport. Best of you just want to shop around the area. Hotel is clean and new, check in and out are both very smooth. Staff are very friendly and you select a hard or soft pillow if you wish. Would definitely return for shopping in Namba area.

This hotel just opened in 2019. Very clean room n friendly staff. MTR exit just in front of hotel, 10mins walk from JR Namba station where you can also take the OCAT bus to Kansai airport. Walking distance (around 5-10mins) to Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi.

The hotel is nearby the station, a short walk of 5 mins gets you to the station. Having a family mart right below the hotel is also very convenient. The hotel rooms are clean and worth the money. Had a great stay there and will stay there again when I am there.

Beyond my expectations ”
For me, almost all perfect. Even the bathroom is also big. The staff was also helpful, when i asked if i can keep my frozen foods in their fridge since, the fridge in the hotel room cant be use for frozen foods/ice cream. Overall, i had a nice stay in Sotetsu Fresa Inn, definitely will comeback there on my next visit to Osaka. おつかれさまです

The loaction of the hotel is wonderful, near Nankai train station for airport transfer, as well as subway station and shopping streets. Room was small but enough for a solo traveller. Amenities were good too, everything you need is availble. Great to have a 24hr front desk as well as a common space to sit and relax and charge your phones. Will definitely stay here is I visit Osaka again!

my wife and I spent 3 nights here and the location can't be beat. there is a subway entrance in front of the hotel and the train station is literally steps away. The room is small, but this is Japan. Never the less, the room has all amenities one should need;
