We had a wonderful stay at the Lodhi. Was there with two children (10 & 8) - it's mainly geared to business travellers and adults, but they loved the immense rooms, the huge 50m pool and the individual plunge pools on each terrace. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food excellent and in a good location on LodhinRoad close to central Delhi. Would certainly recommend and return.

all the staff are very well trained in customer service. we had booked a car to collect us from delhi airport and it was not there. this we rectified and upon arrival we were told we would receive complimentary breakfasts for the duration of our stay. although a large hotel, the staff all seem to know what had happened and were all apologizing. a very enjoyable stay,the second time we have used the hyatt in delhi and would definitely return.l

Older property that is well kept and run. I last stayed here in 2009 when it was the Hotel Intercontinental. Attentive staff. Good breakfast buffet. Solid rooms. Free WiFi Getting from airport was a challenge. Hotel does not have free airport transfers but can make arrangements at a nominal fee. Use Uber or do some research and get a prepaid cab. It’s ~45 minutes to the airport. Did not have a local Indian SIM card- govt stopped issuing free SIM cards at Delhi airport ~Nov 2017. I used the airport lounge WiFi to book my Uber but not clear where to meet-far 3rd row upon exit. Driver tried to call but he could not hear me. He cancelled after 2x. EST ~ 440RS. Cab quotes- 2900, 900, 700 & finally Govt Prepaid cab 480RS. Do your research. Watch for people who want to ‘help’. They will try to force you for a tip. If you are only staying overnight for transit, there is a new Aerocity nearby the Delhi airport that is much closer and brand new, high end hotels and shops

the hotel i usually stay at (palace heights connaught place) was full so based on reviews i tried bloomrooms. never have stayed in this type place in india- no complaints-- its no frills, very clean smallish room, adequate furnishings, didnt need an adapter to plug in US phone chargers--- the euro faux italian cafe was good for breakfast but i prefer indian food for lunch and dinner which they do not serve, so didnt eat any meals other than breakfast which was very good, eggs, cereals, rolls, toast, etc-- expresso machine-- very nice and helpful staff--- great map in the lobby of delhi showing all the sights and time to get to them by car-- walk to subway, 10 minutes in car to connaught, 10 minutes in car to haus kaus- 2 minutes to india gate, etc--- good location especially if you are interested in south delhi and are using a car, not good if you like to walk outside and be somewhere-- its in a nice neighborhood, commercial stuff on the next block-- for first time india travelers this might be a good introduction to the chaos that is india, and for those returning from the countryside backpacker style this would be a welcome stay-- everything works! it is hard to find an acceptable place in delhi that is low to mid range in price - and certainly nothing as comfortable as this-- rooms oddly quiet, nice courtyard to sit and drink and use wi-fi in the cooler times-- i will use them again without doubt--

Really great hotel, the only one of all the 5 star hotels i stayed at in India with free wifi, fantastic service, rooms 5 star modern and great facilities. Area is in south delhi, about 30 mins from central connaught place but easy to get to by tuk tuk, and the hotel is next to a great shopping mall so plenty to do and places to eat, would really recommend this hotel, i would stay there next time in delhi.

I am a frequent traveller to New Delhi and due to some bad reviews I never booked with Suryaa. My associate cajoled me into booking with Suryaa and it was a decision I will never regret. The hotel is one of the best things that ever happened to me in New Delhi and I can proudly say I found my home away from home in this Hotel. Any large institution has its shortcomings but here in Suryaa they are just too negligible to take note of. From check in, to check out, each moment in the hotel is memorable and hereon I am always going to be staying here. The Housekeeping is very attentive. The buffet breakfast spread is enchanting. The hotel must however reduce prices of in house dining to encourage more guests to order from room service. The location is great. Lots of local eateries within 2 mins walking distance. Transport available to almost any part of New Delhi.

I have paid the same price for Mumbai hotels but this one is much better. It is in south Delhi, about 40 min drive from the main sightseeing points. We are fine with this as we had hired a taxi driver for the 2 days' sightseeing. There is a nearby shopping mall, the food offered are a bit pricy (compared to those in Connaught Place) but we are happy to stay in the mall for little shopping and light dinner.

I had a nice stay at the Crown Plaza. It is a little out of the way unless you have business in Okhla. The staff were really nice and the room was large and comfortable. I agree with other reviewers that for such a new hotel, billing itself as 5 star, the rooms could be a little cleaner and the hot water was not hot in the sink. I had a fantastic driver connected to the hotel named Aman. If you can get him, try to do so. He knows Delhi well, speaks English very well and was a good driver.

Few days in the big city of Delhi after a long time i was a bit anxious as i know how Delhi can be hot, noisy.Decided to book in an hotel near by Nerhu place cause it was at the center of all the places i had to visit.The Shervani hotel was really better than expected, real quiet and confortable, the staff was really charming.We did booked a club room, great size, on the first floor.It was just a pleasure to go backe to the hotel after a long day around the town.

This Place was a disguise in heaven, since for work we traveled to IML, Gr. Noida for which the travel time took about 45 min. at the max and it was easily accessible from South Delhi, New Delhi, East of Delhi which made it very convenient for us to go out in the Evenings. The Hotel Rooms & Bathrooms were super clean and we have no complains regarding anything. We would certainly stay @ this location and recommend too.

winter is peak tourist season in new delhi & i was looking for a south delhi star hotel. hyatt, sheraton, taj were all over-priced as usual at this time of the year. i chanced upon a special offer from agoda and booked the little-known svelte hotel at saket. small cozy lobby with very helpful front-office staff. i had reached by the early morning flight & yet they made me feel welcome & gave me my room within 45 minutes of arrival in the lobby at 930am. winter in delhi is like 2 degrees at night & the biggest problem with this star hotel was the absence of any form of heating system in this hotel. i waited for an hour for a portable heater which was not working - then waited for another hour before they could "repair" the heater and bring it back. they have 80+ rooms but did not have a second room heater! everything takes its own time at svelte. once the staff arrives they are polite, but the management is more like a corporate guest-house management. i loved the hotel because of the location but considering its positioning, i feel it was over-priced on agoda. i talked to a couple of long stay guests and they had managed the room at 50% of the average room-rate i paid on agoda.

Very friendly staff in hotel, secure hotel, food is good too. Very close to the purpose of the my visit, they even gave me a lift on my first day to see where the place I was attending was situated. They also took me to a secure bank to change money. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful ie organising tours and giving advice on the Metro which is within 2 mins walking distance and takes you all over Delhi. My room was kept very clean all and everyday. Always supplying free bottles of water. Room service is available 24-7. Buffet breakfast available. Nice soundproof room from traffic noise. English TV stations. All in all great value for the money.

The staff were very helpful with everything. Located beside the main road and easy to identify. The morning breakfast was Good enough & worth the amount of money that you spend for the room. I got a free upgrade to a bigger room since the room which I had booked was not available at that time as the cleaning was not done after the previous guest left. Over all good value for money hotel in South Delhi.

Its the third time I've been back to this hotel. We have family in South Delhi, so the location is great for us and the price is good for the area, which tends to be pricey. Its great being so close to M market which has some good shopping and a nice salon that does hair and massages at a good price. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious and showers are great. Breakfast is great - a choice of Indian and western. Staff are good, pleasant and less overpowering than I have experienced in many other Indian hotels, so I like that. Good hotel in South Delhi.

The hotel is at South Delhi, although it is less than 20min from the airport, it takes an hour in taxi and it was a Sat at 9pm! But traffic everywhere in Delhi is bad so pick a hotel near ou want to be. The restaurant and bar are nice. Wine is extremely expensive but cocktails are great deal n tasty. Rooms are of good size, functional and great bath. Free wifi is only so-so and only for 2 hrs.

We really enjoyed the location of this hotel in South Delhi, and it was definitely a good value for our money. Unfortunately the WiFi only worked well early in the morning (before 8:30am, presumably because other guests then woke up and it couldn't handle it). We also would have appreciated a menu at breakfast, as we were pretty confused what our choices were–though what we did have was good. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, leaving us with a different number of towels every day, taking soap without replacing it, etc. This place could be really great with a bit more attention to detail, but our experience was just okay.

A really nice hotel in the south. The location might not seem good, but it's actually not too far (providing your taxi doesn't get lost obviously) from the airport. It's also really close from Qutub Minar. The staff was really helpful, arranged a taxi for us for the whole day at a fair price so that we can visit the touristy highlights of Delhi and drop us to the airport afterwards. The bring your dinner/breakfast in the room (there is no actual restaurant to eat at, it might bother some people). And the beds are incredibly comfortable. They have cable TV with foreign channels. Really good, a bit far off the city center though. But I would recommend it to people travelling to Delhi

My husband , my daughter and i stayed at the Tree of Life 4 nights in January . We recommend staying in this bed and breakfast . Ashwani and his staff made us feel welcomed without being intrusive . Ashwani gave us all the information we needed for our stay in Delhi , he arranged a car for our trip to Agra and to take us to the airport . The staff cooked really good breakfast and cooked us a good meal one evening . The staff were really helpful when my daughter left to catch her flight at 4 am . The rooms are spacious , clean and tastefully decorated . It is lovely to be able to sit and relax in the comfortable communal areas . The accommodation is in a quiet street near the tube and shopping areas . The Tree of Life is a very special place in South Delhi

When looking for a hotel I always look at customer comments& if there over 70% thenI book them,only once I have I been unlucky, but not in this case, yes it's not in Central Delhi , Overhaul I like this hotel staff are 100% on the ball! Car to airport is very nice Tip ....if booking this hotel ask for room at the rear as it's by the flyover &there is always large amounts go traffic in Delhi 24hours a day I an returning to this hotel very soon for a 3day stay

Great Hotel to stay in Delhi.I stayed here for 3 nights, in a Superior room.Overall it was a very pleasant experience.I had no difficulty in checking in even at late night(01:40 a.m)Receptionist and security was up and active.Location is away from busy roads,very peaceful.The size of the room is good compared to other places(hotels).The bed was very comfortable.The room was equipped with small fridge,safe,Dryer,HD LED TV with good selection of channels,DVD Player with USB,Electric Kettle etc.Cleaning staff did a great job daily.The Hotel Manager and staff, were very helpful,Informative and insured that my stay and experience was as comfortable as possible and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be back again and recommend to others for a relaxed peaceful stay.

Pros: Most important is the location. Very well located near green park market, 5 min walk from metro and 20 minutes drive to city centre. Staff is also very kind and helpfull. Feels like staying in a home instead of an apartment or rental. Only con that I can think of is the floor where I stayed. Avoid staying in 3rd floor it’s a bit more noisy compared to others. Crazy construction noise at 12 in night kept me up whole night. It was only one night. After I rajsed it to staff, it got better. Room amenities are very basic but will do. Overall great choice and I will definitely return.

In busy India, it's lovely to have a tranquil place to withdraw to after a hectic day, and this hotel really lives up to that. It's situated in south Delhi, easy access to the airport. And it looked like it is all new. The design is beautiful, the rooms feel luxury. I've only positive ezperience with this hotel, and I definitly will stay here the next time I'm in Delhi.
