Our activities included extensive swimming with the kids in the shaded kids pools, diving, snorkelling, island hopping, and of course, laying about lazilly on thye white sand beaches over-looking the beautiful South Male Atoll. Our Garden view Villa enjoyed views of tropical paradise from the Bedrooms located at the first floor level. The living area underneath the bedroom was furnished with designer seating laid out on a carpet of fine white sand.

when my wife and i first started looking for our perfect destination for honeymoon at the maldives, we were lost with so many options that seemed just perfect... but we ended up choosing addaran prestige vadoo resort because it`s located in a small island, it has only overwater bungalows and it would definetely give us a lot of privacy. when we got there, everything was beyond our expectations. the hotel is only 15 min away in a speedboat from the capital male (airport), so the transportation was really convenient and a lot cheaper compared to other further islands. some people might get annoyed with the fact that`s so close to male, but we didnt mind it at all. it`s true that we see more airplanes over our heads and more speedboats coming and going, but it just didnt bothered us that much. when we first got to the hotel, we were already welcomed by a team of smily and nice staff with a delicious welcome drink. shortly after we were introduced to our butler that would take care of every little detail, needs and wishes that we would have during our stay. the accomodations and features of the hotel are perfect for honeymooners, it`s very cozy, quiet and private. the rooms are the best, big, spacious and very nicely decorated. it has a jacuzzi and a mini swimming pool at the deck, but who would care for a mini pool if we had a wonderful natural swimming pool right below us? i wouldnt recommend the resort for families with small kids though, because the hotel doenst have facilities for kids nor facities for fans of sports (it only has one volleyball court), but it`s perfect for honeymooners or people that are searching for a quiet place to lay back and chill. the food was spectacular, it had a great variety of options and everything was delicious! the staff became our friends and made us feel like home there. at the end of the our stay we were heartbroken to say goodbye. overall, we loved our experience at the resort and will definetely recommend it!!!

I came to Adaaran from Maafushi where i stayed at another guest house. Adaaran Rannalhi is a very nice resort with beautiful scenery and nice water villas. Just be sure to be in contact with them if you are making your own way there from another location to discuss on pricing and arrangement of transfers etc(cause it is compulsory to take it from Male airport)However for me, i managed to make my own transfer from Maafushi to Rannalhi and did not have to go back to Male on my own.(cause it was a friday and it is very difficult for me to get back to Male as there are no Dhonis). please be sure to print out the email correspondence though as i was lucky i did as the special arrangements i made was not communicated to the resort. If you are staying at this resort only, then well worth the money for transfers as the pick up is from Male airport to the resort and back. The room was clean and everything worked well. The staff is efficient and when you leave the room for meals and such, it will be clean and arranged when you get back. There was no faults in the room and everything worked well. 1 main issue i have with the resort is that the front house staff is not very friendly and on the whole, the whole resort is not very service orientated. Not 1 staff offered to carry my bags and not many made a point to help me with any issues i had. It you expect 5 star service with all staff chirping in with a 'Good morning,Sir/Ma'am' this is definitely not the place. On the whole, i didn't mind the bad service and didn't let it bother me too much and just treated like a self service kind of holiday. If you are like me and wouldn't mind, this resort is great enough. It is very cheap and very beautiful.

The resort is fantastic! We really loved our huge watervilla bedroom and the very wide bathroom window facing to the ocean. The bed was nicely decorated with flowers and elephant-shaped towels on the day of our arrival. That was super cute! The beach, swimming pool and restaurant were amazing! The food was delicious and had so many choices. For dinner at the restaurant, we had to make reservation in advanced, as mostly the restaurants were full. There were also bikes that we could use if we want to explore the islands. The staffs were helpful and super friendly. On our arrival, we were a bit dissappointed as we didn't expect that we had to wait for more than 2 hours at Anantara reservation office at Male airport to wait for another passenger who'd shared the speedboat to the resort. But thanks to the great reseptionists and services, as a complement, they allowed us to have a late checkout and let us stayed in their beach villa while waiting our flight which was at 10pm. Bravo!

I have no negative comments regarding this hotel. Definitely the best hotel in Maafushi. Perfect location as it is right in front of the tourist/bikini beach. Food is good. The inclusive breakfast and dinner that I had were both buffet meals. The staff are excellent. Aside from booking their hotel room, I also booked through them their speedboat services to and from the airport. I also booked from their own Kaani Tours. Best service and experience, really! Will definitely book here again when I come back and recommend this to family and friends who will stay in Maafushi. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Our stay in Embudu village was extremely memorable. We booked 5 nights and 6 days in the last week of December 2017. Our arrival was delayed by 4 hrs but upon arrival at male airport,we were escorted without any delay to the speed boat. Even though, it was past dinner time at the resort, Rasheed was kind enough to have snacks arranged for us at the odd hour for that night. The location of the room was just perfect, pretty close to the restaurant, bar and the beach. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Rooms were cleaned once a day without any delay. The staff was extremely friendly. Special thanks to Niranjan and staff for taking care of our vegetarian food habits. Even though we had a sumptuous spread of veggie salads, desserts and fruits, Niranjan ensured that he had Dhal curry, rotis, Salad, Papad, Curd and a special curry prepared for us everytime we were at the table. Special thanks for the general manager Rasheed who does a excellent job there.We highly recommend Embudu.

my friend and i chose velassaru for its proximity to the airport. it is a short speedboat ride from the airport, about 20mins which makes it easier to get to the resort, especially if your flight arrives past the seaplane flying times (you'd need to stay a night in male then if you arrive late afternoon)to get to the other resorts. we stayed in the water bungalow..love the overall ambience and decor of velassaru...and the view around the atoll is amazing. staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you and quickly, too! there's nothing like seeing happy hotel staff because their positive energy rubs off you and we all want happy vibes when on vacation. while food can get a little pricey, do consider that practically everything has to be shipped to the resort - this gives you an appreciation for what you have during your stay. i would love to go back to velassaru someday but there are many resorts to enjoy in the maldives! would have been a flawless experience if there weren't groups of noisy tourists from a certain country (who were also heard retching and spitting into the ocean outside their water bungalow. pity that!) who kinda spoilt the moment at times.

My wife and I decided to go to Maldives to celebrate our third year wedding anniversary as well as our birthdays. Booking for a resort in Maldives is not easy as there are almost 200 resorts available. We are glad we chose Anantara Veli and definitely, we will go back to this resort when we visit Maldives again. Anantara Veli is just one of the high-end, private yet reasonably-priced resorts of Anantara group. Veli is recommended for couples young and old as the resort is packaged for people who want to go for a honeymoon. For travellers with kids. the nearby Anantara Dhigu is the place to book since many kid-friendly facilities are housed there. Going back to Veli, there are options if you prefer a villa on the beach or villa over water. To get the Maldive experience, we chose to stay on the decently-sized villa over water; complete with a very big bed, a lounge sofa, a sun daybed, a big master toilet with rainshower and tub. Anything that you would need in a hotel is in Veli -- and everything is posh! The included breakfast buffet is superb! No complaints, as there are many to choose from. And if you get tired of eating at the same restaurant in the morning, you can opt to go to the nearby Dhigu and have your breakfast there. There are Japanese, Western, Thai themed restaurants as well for lunch and dinner. The prices are a bit on the high side, but overall dining experience is always great. The room service menu choices are varied and reasonably priced as well. The staff are very attentive and personal. They can arrange anything for you, and you can sense the sincerity in all their actions. The best trait for any service personnel. This you can feel from the waitstaff to the manager. Another reason why we chose this resort is because of the ease of travel from Male. You just need to ride their in-house very fast speedboats which will bring you to the resort in 35-40 minutes from Male. Definitely, the Maldivian experience is not overhyped with Anantara

My wife and I stayed 8 nights at the Kaani Beach Resort on Maafushi island in the South Male Atoll in February 2015. This was the fourth island stay of our 23 day visit to the Maldives. We were promptly met at the dock by Kaani Beach staff who transported our luggage to the hotel. We had previously stayed in guest houses in the Ari Atoll on the islands of Hangngaameedhoo, Mahibadhoo and Omadhoo; on these islands there are few visitors compared to the local population. We were surprised to find so many vacationers on this island. The island had the feel of a resort island where the only locals work in the resorts. There must have been four or five hotels and 20 or more guest houses with construction of many more taking place. Local residences are being displaced at a rapid pace. We had a lovely room on the second floor with bathroom , a/c , with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel also had a good Wi-Fi connection. We paid about $150 per night with taxes and breakfast included. The best feature of this island is a 20 acre lagoon of crystal clear water of constant depth of 3 to 5 feet depending on the tide, right in front of the hotel. Adjacent to the lagoon is a small beach area that is fenced in with a 7 foot high bamboo fence so the locals will not be offended to see bikini clan tourists. When we were there, the small beach area was saturated with tourists; like ants on a sugar cube would be a good analogy. The situation will only get worse as more and more hotels and guest houses are completed. There was no denying though, that the swim area was like a giant pool of pleasantly warm water. The pool is so large that you have plenty of room to yourself. The locals also have a vast swim area with plenty of beach on the north-east side of the island. The water here, however, is of uneven depth with a rocky bottom and is unsheltered from the wind.

One of the best holiday! Thanks to Agoda promotion, everything went beyond perfect! Both Agoda and Olhuveli Resort are very professional especially the customer service. We get the All-Inclusive so we can enjoy all the free drinks & foods all day. The location of the hotel is just 50-minutes boat ride away from directly Male Airport, which is not too far away. Great beach just outside of our Sunset Water Villa, spotted quite a lot baby sharks and stingrays! Everything was very well planned especially on our arrival day and departure day. Check in was very smooth (someone waited at the designated counter to transfer us to speedboat, after 10hours of flight). Checkout was on 12pm, our flight was at 9pm. Hotel arranged our stay very well until our check in for flight departure.

It's a very green island with huge trees and a clean territory where you can walk bare foot everywhere (except restaurant, I guess), and I loved it so mush that chose to return there this year again, and here's why: - not too far from Male airport, so no long boat or plane rides; - great house reef, different in the morning and in the afternoon. I went there for snorkeling. They have diving school, SPA and water sports as well. This March we saw small sharks, murenas, turtles, lots of colorful fish right on the house reef. - wonderful food. I love their meat, fish, three types of curry every day and local fruits. Oh, dessets! It's hard to resist all those wonderful cakes, mousses, puddings and other sweet things. Have to admit that desserts are often light and not oversweet. You'll always find something to eat even with a low-carb or low-fat diet. - Personnel is more like welcoming hosts, very firendly, helpful. It was nice to come back and see familiar faces. - Though there are many people in general, easy to find a place to stay alone, to sleep in palm shadow, meet sinrise and sunset. They have different time zone (+1 hour to Male time), so the day is scheduled according the sun: sunrise about 7:00, breakfast starts right after that at 7:30, lunch after noon in the nicely conditioned restaurant while it's too hot outside, sunset about 19:00, and dinner right after that. That's so natural and relaxing :) If you like to hang out in the bar, they have that, too , almost every day there's some event like dancing, etc. Great way to unwind and get away from everyday life.

cheap price for an awesome four star hotel experience looking for the best but cheap accomodation with excellent service? this hotel is for you! Arena Beach Hotel. Tip 1. Book on Low Seasons to get half price deals. We even got upgraded to a Sea View Room! Just ask if they are available. Best eat all you can breakfast! Book a room with freew breakfast and you wont regret it. Tip 2. Who says going to Maldives is expensive? we have our Snorkeling, Turtle watching, Wale Watching, and Sandbar experience with Free Lunch for only $25. They have evening dinner by the beach for only $15 (eat all you can experience) unli pasta unli barbecue and so much more! Tip 3. Hotel transfers are only $50 two way (shared speedboat). When you land at the Male Airport there is a free call or free telephone to call anywhere in maldives as long as it is landline. it is located at the information assistance booth. Tip 4. there is nothing much to do in Hulhumale so i recommend to go directly in maafushi. maafushi is one of the nearest and cheapest island in maledives. outside arena beach hotel has a public beach where you can enjoy ur bikinis! and mingle with other tourists! questions? richangelo168 instagrm

We stayed here for 3 days. We reached at Island around 10 AM and just after check in they gave us our room (we were expecting to wait till noon as we reached early). We have booked half board and they upgraded it to Full Board, we were really happy for this offer. In Maldives everything is expensive where we got this offer and it was amazing. Food quality is speechless, so delicious and all meals were fantastic. belal and Farukh two person was very nice, actually they are cheff and remain inside the dinning hall. They always asked us to have more and more food. Staffs were always with a smiley face, Mahmudee used to work in our table . The island is small, it takes around 30 minutes to walk around the island. Rooms were large with nice big balcony. Toilet was nice with all toiletries. After dinner we used to enjoy wind and playing of fishes at jetty area. However, be very careful about bottle water, it cost $4.30. They provide only 2 bottle water (500ml) only at first day. So, better If you have time buy bottle water from Male/airport area. Same for sim card, Buy it from airport otherwise it will cost more. Transfer charge is $130 per person. Souvenir shop's price seems to be more but if you are not exploring local market at Male then purchase from here because it does not differ much with Airport area. Overall, the resort is wonderful with all facilities. We will be looking forward to come back again.

stayed for 4 nights, arrived at 10pm flight in Male. The hotel provides chartered speedboat from Male airport to Maafushi Island, but it's USD $150 per trip. Didn't know the public speedboat operates only once a day from Maafushi to Male so you better check your timings before arriving. Staff speaks excellent English, over the phone and at the hotel as well. They were very friendly and approachable. Especially when we lost our valuables at a nearby beach, and approached them for help. They went straight to the suspects first, and when they couldn't, they phoned the police for us and helped translate and everything. Would have been so lost without them. Service was great, food at the hotel was a good mix of local and international cuisine, (we had two lunches there). Price was reasonable. Breakfast was almost the same every day, standard toast, buns, cereal, orange juice, milk, sausages, eggs (choose how you want it) and some local roshi with tuna (tasted great!). Location, it's very near watersports facilities and the main harbour. The island itself is very small so it's walkable to the other two beaches. Bikes provided were modest (breaks weren't working well but there's NO slopes absolutely on the island). Didn't see any kids bikes - only regular adult bikes but you can ask the hotel if you need kids' bikes. Day trips/ snorkelling trips/ resort trips were good and offered a variety. I think they coordinate with the local operators so shopping around the other operators (e.g. iCom) only gives about the same itinerary daily and price is reasonable. I had airport transfer pooled with other guests and paid USD $25 per pax. I think the price depends on how many guests are sharing per boat. but they were kind enough to drop us at Male instead of the airport as we set off at 2pm but our flight was only at 11pm. Depending on room availability, I think they also let us extend our check out time a little bit as we had a short trip to a sandbank that day and needed

We had an amazing stay in Sunrise Hotel in Maafushi island.. The hotel is very is very spacious. We booked the beach view room and I’m very satisfied with our view.. the room is very clean, big and we even have extra sofa bed for our kids.. the staff are so friendly and helpful to our needs.. the breakfast is just okay not so fancy.. I highly recommend their tours- sunset fishing, full day tour where you can swim with the sharks and manta rays.. Our tour guide are the best.. Big thanks to Abrahim and Ali (maafushi tours)best tour guide ever.. they made our vacation super fun..(we booked our tours in Sunrise beach hotel with great discount)😀 Maldives is the best place for vacation😍❤️

I'd like to thank the entire staff of WhiteShell Beach-Inn. Special gratitude reserved for Wasantha, S(can't remember his name he accompanied us on the Speedboat to and from Male), Rado, Hassan and the all the waiters at the Inn. I had booked a room in the W Island Resort and Spa but the Hotel gave me a wonderful surprise when the upgraded me to a room in the Beach Inn less than maybe 6-7 meters from the water's edge (room 104). The room was neat and tidy with all essential amenities, although a small fridge and a couple of chairs would have made it 10/10. The Hotel staff were extremely pleasant and professional, more importantly, straightforward and honest. Ex: They told me it was considerably cheaper to buy drinking water at a grocery store than at the Inn, without a care for losing out on a little profit. This Business-with-ethics approach appealed to me as I am Indian and in our daily life it's hard to come by. Maldives is not cheap like most south-east Asian countries but I felt Whiteshell's value proposition was exceptional. If you're looking for cozy, wallet-friendly, close-to-nature vacationing experience bereft of all superficial luxuries look no further than WhiteShell Beach-Inn. I must also thank the staff at the reception counter for their patience, I peppered them with questions and never, for once, did they seem irritated.

From the moment we arrived at Maafushi till we left this lovely island was an excellent memorable experience of Maldives with this hotel services. All of our request through Agoda was fulfilled by this hotel. Even, we got a surprise for being upgraded to a jacuzzi bedroom, early check-in, late check-out and discounted excursion price. Hotel staffs were extremely responsive, informative, attentive and helpful. They picked up us from the jetty, brought our luggage, friendly and sincerely explore, inform and suggest the best plan for our outbound trips from the island. Aikman is the one you should discuss with in this regards. We took all our trips (night fishing, 2 resorts excursion and a half-day trip) from this hotel on a very competitive price (even with discounted price) compared to the same packages offered by other tours or hotels in the island. I even cancelled my booked and paid excursion package with other tour for such reason (of course, I got the money back). When my wife come back from our full day excursion with a small wound in her left big toe, Ali, the hotel manager quickly brought his first aid box and help me to medicate it. Overall, Triton Hotel is a new professionally managed hotel. Credit card payment is receivable by the hotel. Jacuzzi bedroom is spacious with a bathtub inside and jacuzzi on balcony. It is incredibly clean and maintained room. A big bottle of drinking water is served in the room which is eco-friendly action compared to use plastic drinking water. Small mini market, bikini beach and public beach are just 3 minutes walk from this hotel. Wifi is excellent. Free beach towel, bicycle and sundeck are provided at request. Foods is just great. Breakfast is simple but tasty. At our last day in Maafushi, Ali personally accompanied us to the jetty. Thank you Ali and Aikman for your guys hospitality and great services. We will definitely come back to Triton Hotel !

One of the best accomodation in Maafushi ! Staff was very humble nd cooperative ! Such haveanly beautifull view from the balcony ! We stayed 4 days at Velana Blu , We participated & enjoyed the first ever Crab Race of my life :D thou we lost the free jet ski ride 😜 Variety of yummy dishes in the breakfast ! Complimentary water sports made our trip more adventurous ! Thanks Mohammad (Manager at Velana Blu) 🙌 Best Hotel In Town !!! 😍 Thanks for making my vacations wonderfull !! very clean hotel, nice staff : they helping you for having the best holiday you can have in the Maldives .everything was amazing. The best option is to arrange the transfer with hotel from a male airport and also with the trips to sandbar, island resort. They arrange everything like it should be. The hotel is also very accessible on social media , this helps the traveler more to know about the island maafushi. I recommend this hotel to everyone !!!!!

We were 4 girls in two rooms. The best of all was the STAFF, always attentive, cordial, helping us in everything (we request breakfast before time when we had excursions, they also replaced the menu on the breakfast with more fruit for my vegetarian friend, they even took our bags to the port when we left, I forgot my camera and the staff took it to another hotel where some friends were staying). We are very grateful to TIKE, one of the guys from reception, he is a genius!!! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, large rooms, big bathroom, huge beds, and you have fridge in room to store food and a boiling kettle. Every day they clean your room and change your towels. It also has a balcony with a seaview. This hotel was the best decision for sure!!! EVERYTHING SPECTACULAR: WITHOUT DOUBT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND WE DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

From the moment you enter the Hotel you are welcomed by some of the friendliest staff we have encountered.On this point to Rimzan ( a most competent & staff respected manager), Ranak, Rasu, Shain & all the staff our sincere thanks for making our 6 days most memorable. We also has an opportunity to meet veeeery friendly Owner of the Hotel and his lovely Family. We can easily say that all of the staff is like a great family and what is more you can feel like the member of this family, that is awesome atmospehere! The room was very spacious,well appointed & had all the comforts. Velana Beach hotel has for sure the best restaurant at the Maafushi, this is worth to take half/full board so we are sure we will enjoy their international cuisine (especially delicious tuna sesame- the best starter!!!). All of the dishes are excellent cooked and served, we recommend you to sit outside of the hotel with a beautiful views and celebrate your stay. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would certainly recommend. Thank you GUYS for making our honeymoon over the moon!!! We will miss you :)

We were trying to do the Maldives on a "budget" and this definitely gave us the best bang for our buck. Ibriham, filled us in beforehand on everything we might need to know, and he was continually there to answer all the questions we had about the islands, what to do, what to eat, etc. We arrived on a Thursday into Male airport and took a speed boat to Maafushi Island. You can take the public ferry, but the morning ferry was canceled and the next one wasn't until 3pm. It is only about $2 to take the ferry, but we didn't want to wait around all day, so we book the speedboat which was $200 divided by however many people went with you (it could seat up to 7). Definitely worth the money. We arrived to Maafushi, checked into Stingray Beach (with a nice refreshment waiting for us) and were on the beach before noon. Because this is one of the inhabited islands there is no alcohol, and when you're not on the "private beach" the you must be covered from your neck to your thighs (no bikinis). It's a small price to pay. The staff at Stingray Beach helped us book whatever excursions we wanted and they had a whole list of options. We did the sandbank one day, which was great. The snorkeling was amazing (we saw a sea turtle among other things) and we were set up with a cooler and a huge umbrella for shade. So fun. Ibriham also hooked us up with a dive shop near the hotel, so we were able to do 2 dives. Great service, again. The food at the hotel was out of this world. The menu was very extensive and everything we ate over the course of our stay was excellent. We were worried when we began the trip about how we were going to pay for things and how much money we needed to take out of the atm at the airport (because there are no atms on the islands) but we were able to charge everything to our room: food, drinks, excursions, dives, etc. and then we could pay with our card at the end of our trip. It was very convenient.

We love staying in Royal Pearl the owner was super helpful ,very nice, and is fun to talk too. The guesthouse is small but very cozy. The room is comfortable, soft bed and soft pillows. Love how there are outlets next to the bed, surprisedly not too many guesthouse have it, but this one do. Free coffee and tea outside, the breakfast was ok buffet style. I LOVE how there are no bugs in the room. The wifi works really well, 10 min walk to the beach which is fine, its nice to work through town and see what Maafushi had to over. They offer a really nice beach towels, its huge. There are one working staff in the guesthouse, he doesn't speak too much english but he understands a little. The owner have PERFECT english. Overall for the price i think its really good. We would absolute come back again. Everyone should book this place.

Everything there is NEW & Gorgeous! Excellent staff! Stylish interior design! From the moment get off the boat, I feel being warmly welcomed; Staff are perfect,so friendly & helpful,thumb up! Really looking forwards to enjoy in Crystal Sands again! Here are some tips: ROOM: Ocean Deluxe with sea view is highly recommended. I select 2nd floor for wider view, else 1st floor is easier access. Feel luxury having my breakfast serve in Balcony of my room. Bed & quilt are comfortable. Strong Wi-fi signal in both room and all hotel area! Just 5 minutes walk to the two beach in Maafushi. TRANSFER: Can request to arrange speedboat pick up from Male intl. airport to hotel,vice versa, even NIGHT TIME okay, take around 30 minutes only(one way), therefore no need to stay in hotel of Male for first night or in return, more convenience. ACTIVITIES: Snorkelling(I see Turtle, Nemo fish, beautiful corals in Sand Bank, Banana Reef, Maavelaath) Must try Dolphin Cruise in sunset time, see many dolphin, very surprising Maldivian cultural Live Band music (Bobuberu) & dancing together at night. FUN, FUN, FUN!! SummaVilla guesthouse is a fantastic guesthouse on the local island of Maafushi (south of Male). Maafushi presents a local, authentic and affordable experience while in the beautiful island chain of the Maldives. The exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and staff of SummerVilla are locals on the island who have their family homes close to the guesthouse. We felt they genuinley cared about during our two week stay whilst exploring Maafushi and its surrounding islands. The service, food, cleanliness of rooms and attention to detail were outstanding for accommodation in this price range. We can highly recommend this guesthouse and will definitely be returning. firstly,maafushi island is quite different with south east asia such as Malaysia &Indonesia's small island that maafushi have actually fresh water which will make you very comfortable indeed.this hotel is the cheapest one in whole Maldive when booking. but it makes me very surprising when arrived, the location is in the east of island ,half minute walk to beach,3 minutes walk to the most beautiful beach in north of island. and hotel is new opened not so long without any smell. hotel condition is very good and comfortable. very quite yard,LED TV set, strong aircon,high speed wifi(200-300kb/sec),hot water shower, small refrigerator ,bed lamp, thicker quilt, toilet paper,cleanness in everywhere. The breakfast is also better than south east asia, it's enough completely for anyone I think.The staff are come from Bangladesh and very friendly and willing to help you any request, though their English is still not so fluent. The boss is one of young and smart guy that will tell you any information of travelling in Maafushi or around.and the quotation to nearby island or resort is also cheaper than other's.To be frank I didn't find any bad or insufficient things.Maafushi is the island for those budget backpackers whom want to go to Maldives. grateful and unforgettable trip at water breeze in Maldives .

The best part of this hotel is the location which is in front of the beach. The staffs are nice. I took halfdays trip for 2 days with this hotel, each trip $35. The breakfast is so so. The staffs are nice & friendly, really enjoyed stay in this hotel. But the last day before I left to Male (23 Sep 2017 at 7:40pm) Hasan (tour guide) he asked me that have I paid full the trip which is $20 (because the day before I already paid $50) I said yes and explained him I paid at 22 Sep 2017 at 8:40 pm. He said that the front office didn't tell him because if I didn't pay so the hotel will charge to Hasan. Hasan said they didn't tick my name as full payment. That's why he asked me that I have paid full or not. Hasan said maybe I forgot that I haven't paid. I asked Hasan to meet front office, but Hasan denied. Maybe I forget to pay but in sure I have already paid if I haven't paid please contact me, Hasan is a good guide pls don't change to him for my payment

The best place for those travelers who want to spend less on hotels and more on excursions. The staff is so helpful and friendly. You just ask for any help and they would manage it in anyway. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable with all basic amenities. The hotel would arrange for your excursions and its proximity to the beach makes it more attractive. Reaching Maafushi Island is a thing to consider seriously. There is a ferry that leaves Male' city at 3pm local time but tickets sell within no time. I would suggest to gets tickets around 9am in the morning from Villingdilli ferry terminal in Male' city. If you miss these tickets you will be left with no choice but to hire a speed boat that cost $200. However the group of 10 people in a speed boat can share the load if they want to make it less expensive. Similarly, from Maafushi Island to Male' city the ferry leaves at 7:30am so you must get tickets around 6pm from a local grocery shop called "Aacha Shop" the day before you want to leave by ferry. Remember there is only one ferry trip between Maafushi Island and Male' city per day. If you don't want to get ferry, take speed boat available all day, which is an exciting experience within itself. The menu of Narnia is good and tasty. They would arrange for excursions. The snorkeling costs around $80 per person. The scuba diving around $120 per person. Nearby resort visits including day activities around $100+ Maafushi is a good and lively island but not to remain only here. You must take some nearby island visits to make your trip memorable.
