"My second stay in a few years at the Residency Fort hotel. A great place to stay in Mumbai where accommodation can be very expensive. Rooms are slightly small but that's typical in Mumbai. We were upgraded to a club room in a separate annex only 25 metres from the main hotel. It was a nice room, although small as mentioned. Food and service in the restaurant is great. All the staff we encountered were more than helpful and very friendly. We did a half day sightseeing tour organized by the hotel and it was fantastic and at a very good competitive price. Location is perfect too, with a short walk to most attractions in South Mumbai. Also great street food available in the streets behind the hotel. For those looking for good value for money, I can't recommend this place highly enough."

"This was our first time in Mumbai, hotel was in a good location, staff was very nice and the place felt very clean. The bathroom could improve a bit, but all in all was very clean and we always had warm water. One thing that could've been improved was the fact that we arrived at the hotel 05:00 AM but we still had to pay for a full night and not for half of it. I will say they were completely upfront about it, they told us in advance that we would pay for half a night only from 06:00AM, but since we got a bit earlier than expected from the airport, I thought they could be a bit more flexible. Other than that, would recommend the place :)"
