    Bowling trip”

The hotel was wonderful even with renovations going on. The staff was wonderful and the events were well put on. I visited the horse arena and was really impressed - in my younger days as a 4H horse club advisor I have seen many arenas. Many choices for food and the shows were good. Something for everyone

Food selection within the hotel/casino was very good, but I went there to bowl, and to have the bowling center (actually 2 of them) at the same place I stayed was the biggest draw. I couldn't stay long in the casino area due to cigar/cigarette smoke, but I did stay in a non-smoking room and it was certainly a smoke free environment.

    Value for what we paid”

South Point is a really nice hotel. This is the second time we've stayed there for the USBC National Tournament. We don't gamble, so there's not a lot to do there for us except bowl. There is a theater and a dozen places to eat. But if you're on a budget the only place to eat is the Coronado Café or the Steak and Shake. Prices in the "resort" are as expensive as any really nice restaurant in a big city. The restaurants are great with really good food for the most part. Unlike Vegas of the '60's there's no $1.99 buffet anywhere in Vegas and if you're downtown or on the strip you will be shoulder to shoulder with the half million or so people already there. I wouldn't live in Vegas on a bet.

Great hotel experience, way off the strip but is very nice. Actually could just stay in the hotel for the entire time and never go to the strip and not feel like you are missing out. lots of shopping near by and the view of the mountains is exceptional. I will be back again soon.

    South Point Surprise ”

Stayed final 3 days of my week in Vegas at the South Point, and was pleasantly surprised. Hotel was clean, and the rooms were very spacious. I had a renovated room with wood floors, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. All making for an excellent value. The pool and work out room were exceptional. I even caught a morning movie at the Century Movie Theatre on property. This is a hidden gem.

    Fantastic Ammenities”

I love this property. They have a bowling alley, movie theater, 11 eating places, swimming pool, spa, Arena, convention center and gambling. The fact that its 7 miles from the strip doesn't matter when you have all that stuff there. There is a free airport shuttle that is fast and spacious. The rooms are lovely and recently updated with very comfortable beds. Room service was fast and decently priced for room service. We had an unfortunate incident in the middle of the night (toilet clogged) and maintenance was at the door in less than 5 minutes. Keep in mind this was 3 am when this happened. The bowling alley had 60 lanes and was amazing to bowl in. The movie theater had several theaters and had all the new movies with very comfortable seats. I wish they would change smoking in the casino because you walk through a cloud of smoke when enter every time.

    Nice stay”

Went to Vegas with my sister. Stayed 2 nights. I did not want to be on the strip but not too far out of town. The casino had everything. A nice pool, movie theater, and bowling. We stayed in a deluxe room which I believe was on of the remodeled rooms. The room was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

    Easy and free parking”

The hotel is about ten minutes down the 15 from the heart of the strip, but the free and easy parking is a plus and makes it easy for those with cars to go shop, golf, dine, etc. We enjoyed several of the restaurants in the hotel and the updated rooms were quite decent and less pricey than our usual Vegas hotels. We will stay there for our next Vegas golf trip and try Michael's steakhouse and maybe some evening entertainment and drinks. Families will like many food options, bowling, movies and choices under one budget friendly roof.

This Hotel has it all, for the Price you get a Big Nice Room with Free Wifi and Nice T.V, you also get a coupon book for 50% on their Buffet and other goodies. If you want to get away from the Busy strip, this is a great Choice and their Price is very Reasonable. If like to Play Poker, they have a big Poker room with Cash games and Tournaments. They have good places to Eat for Late night especially their Grave Yard special from midnight to 6 Am, $5.00 for Steak and Eggs not Bad. Highly recommend this hotel, been here 3 times and always had a great time.

You will notice most of the guests here are local because the hotel is away from the Strips. But this is what we love. The price is cheaper but the hotel offer a great bargain! Big spacious room, probably double size of your normal hotel room in USA. Great facilities for you to stay in for few days without having to go out of the hotel. Thumbs up!

Second time staying at this hotel. Somewhat disappointed this time as casino was extra smokey which was not the case in previous stay. Room was ok; absolutely no view except for concrete wall of hotel inches away. No refrigerator. Internet connection intermittent. Garden buffet great food and value, however, could not get to breakfast food station as it was blocked by people waiting in line for omelettes. Very clean hotel, lots to do.

It was pleasant as the room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows, ample of space even for a standard room...and even though it's a big casino it's surprising not noisy at the room levels/floor. Definitely coming back, but beware weekend rate jumps quite a bit.

It is a nice hotel for the price I paid. Large, clean rooms. We love the spacious bathroom countertop to put all our toiletries. The restaurant and coffee shops are of reasonable price. When we stay at a 5 star hotel on the strip, we paid $20 for breakfast everyday, and that was only coffee and bagels. We only spend $6-8 for breakfast basically having the same thing.

    Lost and found ”

I left my phone at a slot machine may 29 at around 9 am I went to lost and found around 11 am the employee there was very rude and unhelpful . I explained that I left my phone on a slot And it would have been turned in in the last couple of hours I asked how many phones could have been turned in in that time frame his answer was he gets lots of phones I explained if one was turned in the only way to turn it on was with my finger print. He said he didn’t have anything turned in. I went out to the slot where I left it and found a very helpful security guard I described the phone and where I left it and he said that he turned it in to lost and found he went with me back to lost and found and after a discussion with the lost and found employee and I demonstrated that it was my phone he reluctantly gave it to me. The only conclusion I can think of he was trying to steal my phone and would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for your honest security guards
