Location is ideal
Needed to do Thai visa run and would like to go to a specific restaurant in Namphu, so the hotel was right in the center as well as a walking distance to Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese restaurants

ok for a place to stop
the hotel is ok sayings it's close to town. it really depends what they class as town but it's in the back streets of people's houses. rooms are ok standard cheap hotel style but it's nice to have a fridge. they will clean your room every day if you wanted it. and free bottle of water everyday. overall a simple clean room but not as close to the main city as it said it was.

No reason to stay here
The hotel was disappointing. The staff barely speak any English. The answer to everything was either "no" or they tried to palm us off to anyone else they could find to get anything done. The only time they did anything to help was to call a taxi when we left and even then they tried their luck at seeing whether we would agree to a rip-off price before backing down when we showed them that we weren't going to be suckers. The room was unexciting and the bathroom was pretty poor. The shower had very little water pressure, making showers slow and harder work than they need to be. If possible, at least try stay in a hotel with a pool to escape the heat and humidity there. We couldn't find any reason to justify staying in this hotel and wouldn't choose it again.

nothing is working (except for the TV)
window, chair, TV
Air-con doesn't work. Fridge is moldy inside, so is the bathroom. No WIFI (except for the lobby).... there is only one WIFI antenna (in the lobby); therefore, in the relatively vast building it is technically impossible to receive WIFI for most of the rooms.

Nothing Special To Report
No bugs, hot water, helpful desk
My room was a corner looking into adjoining property. Moderately quiet. Bad internet reception Steep stairs. All in all...it was ...OK. Close to groceries and a few eateries and about a 10K tuktuk ride from the bus station or the riverside.

Clean but noisy and unhelpful staff.
The hotel and room was clean.
Average, the staff weren't that helpful and being our first evening in Laos we would have prefferred at least a little help. The windows in the bedroom were non existent so every noise outside was so loud. If you want a peaceful sleep go somewhere else. The location is ok, if you're after the lively part of town its a 20 minute walk, that may not seem a lot but when it's 34 degrees after no sleep you'll get it! Didn't have breakfast so can't comment.
