Friendly staff with full of smile who welcomed us. Direct entry to Sovereign Hill provided tickets being purchased. Quiet place and great place to rest by, best if you are with a car since there is free parking space.

We stayed in the Residence.The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the staff member on reception was very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was not being served at this time ,but the coffee and hot chocolate sachets provided were very good quality.A perfect place to stay to experience Soverign Hill and Aura in the evening.Highly recommended .

If you are planning to spend two days at the theme park, this is the hotel to stay. Very convenient and has a secret entrance to the theme park. Included breakfast is simple, reduce your expectation.

Thank you for having us! It was great to stay right in Sovereign Hill and have access to a beautiful historia part of the 1800s. Very cosy, clean, warm and just what we were after! Also the bed was super comfy!

It’s a nice hotel but had very few restaurants inside it though it was less crowded and nice and quiet. Breakfast buffet was pretty good though and the best thing in the stay.

Dark Hotel at Night”
The hotel is clean and with easy access to souvereign hills , our only main concern was it was too dark in the parking and so creepy at night. Once you get to the room then its fine. Restaurants were a bit far from the hotel. If you are not coming back to souvereign hills the nest day i would suggest you look for a better hotel near the city where there are more things you can do at night.

Comfort Inn Sovereign Hill is located in a quiet attractive tree garden setting on the outskirts of Ballarat. There is plenty of free off street parking and the reception was inviting and efficient. It is reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast dainty and delicious. Our double room was spacious, well furnished and had all the usual facilities. With the opaque blinds and peaceful surrounds sleep was easy. Strongly recommend.

One night stay in their deluxe rooms”
Easy to find with helpful staff. Great location being right behind Sovereign Hill and had plenty of car parks, even a few right by each building. Room was clean and neat upon arrival. Seems like central heating is always on which was quite nice for a winters night. However, you could clearly hear neighbours in the hallway and entering their rooms. You could also hear the school kids that play in the yard. This wasn't much of an issue as all neighbours arrived home at reasonable hours and school kids were no longer allowed to be out late at night. Overall, a good experience and would recommend this place.

Very comfortable and great location”
Overall experience was positive. The hotel is connected to Sovereign Hill which is why we stayed there. Room was basic but you get what you pay for. In terms of location, if your visit to Ballarat is for Sovereign Hill then this is the best hotel in the best location. We purchased the package deal was was $70 cheaper buying it through the hotel then buying it direct from the Sovereign Hill ticket website.
