On my 2nd visit, my stay was enjoyable!”
I booked this capsule hotel once before, but I had almost forgotten about it. Months later, I was looking for a capsule hotel in Tokyo again. I liked the chain of hotels, so I made a reservation. Upon arrival, I was surprised because I had stayed there before! This hotel has a great price. Breakfast was really good, and had good options available, but I thought that the time for breakfast ended very early, at 8:30. It has a good location, but it can be a little far away from certain parts of the city. That being said, it is very close to a train station, and I think that it was very convenient. The staff was friendly, but I didn't talk to them very much. The facilities are very impressive, and there is a nice bath and sauna. There is a room full of books and some massage chairs. There is also an area for eating, and all outside foods and drinks are permitted.

great for solo travaller”
great wifi, clean, tidy, very comfortable. and contain all required amenities and facilites. Most importantly, there is hotbath! where you can hardly get in hotel with double the amount of the price at Tokyo. the only downside? if you cannot appreciate capsule hotel and need personal place. other than that, I have great experience staying in the hotel throughout my 10 days at Tokyo.

Great breakfast, will stay again”
Well-run capsule hotel on JR Yamanote line. Breakfast was impressive! Sugamo was such an interesting place and from here it's very convenient to go anywhere in Tokyo too. Wish there were more signs and help in English though.

Great stay, would only recommend to frequent travelers to Japan”
As a capsule hotel aimed at Japanese people, I would not recommend staying here if you're on your first trip to Japan. Staff are not really well equipped to deal with foreigners but they still attempt to do so. But if you know your way around, and if your itinerary is in Sugamo. I would go for it. The beds are luxurious and there is an even a wide choice of movies to watch in your capsule.

Fit for Purpose - ”
Some Desks. Some kind of Gym or Mats would be good. As covers all other bases for an all round stay. Also it needs an Iron Board. I enjoyed it and thou not perfect. It is one the best or better Capsule Hotels in Tokyo. I have visited so far in Japan. I really needed help with Large Bag Storage and the Staff were so helpful and nothing was to much. This one act of Kindness made my day. I was stuck, but went above and beyond to help me when I needed it. I think that really the focus is on the Capsule all the time. Be it Good or Bad, but people were most enjoying the facilities and getting the most joy from these. I would come back to this Hotel in the future. It is something I would suggest to others to try and this is the one out of the rest.

Nice place and ok location.”
The hotel itself was great. The location (Sugamo) is a nice change of pace from very touristy Tokyo. Although it is in Tokyo, it gave the impression that it was a slower town than the more well-known names, etc. shinjuku, akihabara, asakusa.

Good value”
Pros: Good price, located about the middle of the yamanote JR line so quick trips with the JR pass around. The area is quiet and nice. Cons It smelled like fish. I bought an airfreshener. The beds weren't very comfortable. Many of the guests were inconsiderate of how loud they are, which wouldn't be a problem if it was the day time but people would smash into the room at 2am and alarms going off. This is pretty universal in capsule hotels. That being said i put in some earbuds and played music.

One of my favorite capsule hotel”
Very traditional Japanese style capsule hotel. Close to Sugamo JR station easy to get around. If you stay multiple nights you don't have to check out every morning like other capsule hotels, which is a HUGE plus. Will return again without any hesitation.

First try at a capsule hotel”
As a capsule hotel I'm satisfied at the hotel but after trying a capsule hotel I can't recommend it. I would recommend a hostel over a capsule hotel any time. Its more or less the same thing but you have 40 plus capsules in one big room while most hostels have from 4 to 12 beds in one room, for those like me sensible to snoring it basically means that there is no chance no one will snore in a capsule hotel. Other than that, the facilities were not bad, had lots of manga and the furo (bath) was good. Breakfast was decent and according to the price.

Good capsule (value&location) with adequate breakfast”
Honest review It s in safe neighborhood , and non-crowded area. But have all 24 hr. Mart. This capsule is highly recommend for budget travellers to Tokyo. Location-wise, very convenient. Budget-wise, very affordable with satisfaction facility, and capsule bed. Breakfast is good. I definitely will come back here again.

Excellent location and great services”
It is near JR Sugamo station (about 2-3 mins walk from exit). Polite and efficient staff. Great buffet breakfast and hot bath facilities. Excellent Wi-Fi connection. Locker is large in size for placing baggage. Will come back again in the future. Highly recommended to travellers on staying for just a few days.

Exceptional”
I am not japanese, so this a Western biased opinion: Sleeping on capsules - Surely more confortable and private than hostels. You can still hear other people, especially when they snore, otherwise everything is pretty quiet. Breakfast was more western that i thought, with eggs, sausage and bread. All you can eat, no limitations. Bath is traditional shared japanese style, unconfortable the first time, but you get used to it pretty fast, and honestly one of the more curious local experiences you can have. Staff does not speak english, except for one of the cooking ladies, witch did speak very well (unlike the reception guy... makes no sense). Didn't find this to be a problem, hand signaling is always universal.

Small place but great bathing facilities”
It's a small place with a lot of people packed in capsules. However it has excellent bathing facilities and offers free towels. Just 1 min walk from the station. Super convenient.

convenient”
I stayed there for one night only. Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly and helpful despite my poor japanese. Tv lounge was comfortable with shelves of manga for the avid reader. The place overall was a very japanese oriented place with little english signs. However, the directions were intuitive enough and the staff were plenty helpful in breaking down the language barrier. The capsules were not soundproof as is the norm, so if you are a light sleeper you may have difficulty sleeping if you are surrounded by people who snore. Bring a earplug for a better experience. They also offer a massage service which I tried. Really good and strong massage. Don't miss it if you're spending the night there.

Good value”
Staff didn't speak much English, but it was workable. Really clean place. Highly recommended for one or two nights. Location isn't the best, but the value is great. If you are worried about a capsule, don't be; it's just like being in a bunkbed, except no snoring assholes to wake you up. They even gave me a free umbrella! Just don't expect to socialize/meet people here, its kinda just for Japanese businessmen.

Good experience. Recommend if the price is right”
Only stayed a night during golden week so price was a bit higher, but it was a nice place. It was very clean and had great customer service.

No issues here”
Standard experience for a capsule. Its the 'old style', with old traditions, which is fine. Its well-located on Yamanote Line, so convenient to main places. Of course its a box. If you can tolerate that, then its good value.
