OK place for the price”
I stayed at the the Spa Club February 17. I booked a room for one night to be at the dead sea. When I arrived I was told that the outdoor pool was closed during the winter months. We went across to the dead sea where they have a place with lounges and an area to swim. They also have a nice spa inside which is small but nice. The rooms were nice but not fancy. The meals were tasty both breakfast and dinner. There were sufficient choices to eat but not a huge selection as I have had elsewhere in Israel. At night there was musical entertainment . I would not stay here again because I prefer a more upscale place but if you are on a budget I would tell you to stay here. The staff is nice and friendly and the rooms were clean but dated.

Poor maintenance of a potentially good hotel”
Pro: excellent location close to the Dead sea beach, goodd view from the room, large selection for breakfast, generally clean Con: insufficient parking place ((got a ticket for parking in front of the hotel), poor maintenance, staff begins to flush floors of the spa half an hour before closing time, no beach towels available at the reception or spa, guy who makes coffee for breakfast has been apparently making coffee for the first time and has no clue what a capuccino is, dissapointing bread in a country where they have excellent bakeries,

Worst hotel”
In booking confirmation were check in time at 15.00. When we arrived they said we give you room at 16.00 because Shabbat. At 16.00 they said our room not ready and we will check in at 19.00. It make me angry I said in my agoda come conmation check in time 15.00, now 17.00 and I don’t have room. I ask talk with manager hotel, after 1h fight they give to us room. All rooms don’t have balcony, just small windows. In the room don’t have information how to call reception, don’t have any room service. Swimming pool outside was closing. Dirty and smelly stuff, who put color on wall using same lift with guests. They have free champagne and sweets around 17-17.30 for all guest, but nobody tell that to us, we found it suddenly. They don’t change bathrobe. It was wet and next day not dry well, I asked change, but ther send they don’t charge.cleaning service is so bad, they just change towels, but not clean room. It’s not enough chairs on the beach. Worst hotel in Dead Sea.

Unique Spa Hotel”
This is a modern hotel, but not one of the newest in Ein Bokkek. It is spit into two hotels , One of which is the Spa Hotel. We stayed there and enjoyed the unique hot ( bath tub temperature ) pool filled with water from the Dead Sea just across the way. There are Saunas, Turkish Baths ( Hamam ). The breakfast if a large buffet style and the dinner which is recommended is also buffet style with a wide mix of salads and vegetables. The front of house staff in the front reception seem a little disorganised and unfriendly but as a spa-use there is a second reception with friendly personal service. I think children under 13 are not admitted.

Dear John, Thank you so much for your lovely feedback and great rating of your stay with us in the Dead Sea. What a pleasure to read you enjoyed the facilities offered and the spa and found the breakfast tasty with lots of variety. Actually, guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to keep the Hotel Spa Club more exclusive and tranquil. Your comment about the front desk has been forwarded to the relevant staff for improvement and we thank you again for your helpful comments. Hope to see you back with us again soon. Warm Regards, Deena Moskowitz Guest Relations Manager

Tranquility and well being at the Spa Club Hotel.”
As I expected after reading other gusts reviews, it all came true and correct. The room was nice and spacious with a large size bathroom overlooking the D/S. All exclusive Spa Club facilities such as internal DS warm water pool, jacuzzi steam room, sauna and the Hamam (wet lare stem room),treatment rooms etc were well maintained with plenty of members of hotel staff to assist the guests. Outside fresh water pool was shered with sister hotel Oasis, so was the Dinning Room. Afternoon Tea consisted of herbal teas and light refreshment. All was good.

Amenities Are Awesome”
We weren't sure what to expect from all the online reviews as previous visitors' reviews were very divided, but I must say we were very impressed overall. It is obvious that the main renovations were done in the lobby and first floor because everything there is absolutely beautiful and impressive. From the personalized check-in desk, to the aromatic incense burning, the candles, the spa, the tile mosaics, the dining hall - everything was done to perfection. Not to mention the amenities were amazing, diverse and gave the hotel its uniqueness. My husband and I very much enjoyed playing with water like children in the Hamam, and soaking in the tranquility in the Dead Sea pool, the free quick massage offered at tea time - all in all, it was worth the money. A few things to note: it is not impressive that the sliding front doors to the entrance of the hotel didn't work both days - that is a bad first impression that can stick negatively. As well, between the lobby and the rooms are the upper floor hallways and the carpets and overall impression is that these have not been changed in 20 years. If those were changed, I think people would not notice that the rooms were not renovated recently. Those carpets have to go. In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel to my friends, but I would warn them that beyond the lobby, it's not as glamorous as it seems. Good job on making a good first impression though.

You get what you pay for”
It was agreeable. Apparently it is an all-inclusive hotel which means that also the dinner was included in the price (it was not mentioned in the booking). There are no restaurants in Ein Bokek and all guests seem to eat in their own hotels. A night or two is sufficent for a trip to the Dead Sea.

Good Hotel at Dead Sea resort”
Our stay was comfortable and the hotel had good facilities, BUT information was somewhat lacking. Checkin proved a challenge, since the main checkin desk was in the Oasis spa club. This had a separate entrance, and was in different colours and design to the Hotel itself, but how is a guest arriving at the Hotel supposed to know this is the hotel reception. The evening dinner was great, lots of selection of good food, and wine was included. Only trouble is the first night we did not even realise that. Finding your way to the pool and spa facilities was also a bit 'random', and it was very unclear what was the hotel and what was the Oasis spa, and what was the relationship between them. We also found that there did not appear to be any bar or catering facility to buy drinks or snacks when sitting in the grounds. Sensed this was a missed opportunity.

Great hotel”
I read many bad reviews about the state of the hotel... I must say we were surprised. Even though it was the cheapet in the area the spa facailities are amazing and so was the breakfast! Rooms were spacious enough for three people and they were clean and comfy!! I would stay again!

Very nice Hotel. Breakfast was served a little late for us since we were with a group. Had to walk a long way just to get breakfast earlier since Hotel did not start serving until 8 AM. Other than that, nice view, beds were comfortable, Jacuzzi worked great, and AC worked !

NICE HOTEL- Great value for money .”
Good affordable hotel. a 4 star. great breakfast- pretty clean but as a hotelier myself THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A PROBLEM IN THAT DEPARTMENT. the reception staff is helpful and professional- morning Lena lady should smile a bit more- gives a sufficient, fast but soviet style service. check in young guy was awesome-SOLVED A PROBLEM WITH CHECK-IN AND GAVE US A FREE DRINK AT THE BAR.

Highly recommended”
The hotel is ideally positioned. The dinner is excellent and the staff is very courteous. Unfortunately, the interior is a bit outdated and could benefit from a renovation. Breakfast can also be slightly improved, especially more attention to coffee selection. All in all, we have had a very good time and would like to spend some days here again. Thank you for the excellent time.
