Roman Romantic Royal Roming.,,”
What a great stay at the Royal Suites! We got lucky and were upgraded, our room was fantastic. We were greeted by a bright flat that overlooked the shopping street outside. The Royal is in a very convenient and safe area, and the room featured a safe (that we and the staff couldn't figure out how to operate for one full day because the instructions were wrong). The stay couldn't have been better... We skipped the hotel breakfast everyday except checkout which was a great idea. Instead of the buffet, head down to the Parliament area, an easy 300-400 meter stroll and enjoy the Parliament Cafe that has 3-4 small tables outside. The regulars here are businessmen and women, everyone is in their snazzy suits, it's a cool scene. The coffee was tops here and the pastries were warm and excellent. There is another cafe just next to the Royal, it was nice but didn't capture the experience quite like the place down by the Parliament. All in all, the Royal is excellent. Super close to the Spanish Steps, which were a great place to check in each day and enjoy a drink with the view and vibrant scene (the peddlers selling glowing flying things at the steps are particularly annoying however...). The Coloseum is in easy walking distance, This Spagna area is very good. Difficult to compare to the Pantheon area, perhaps just less crowded... The Pantheon area is very much in the center of everything, but the Royal near the steps is right in the heart of Rome as well. We definitely recommend this hotel and this area. You can book here with confidence.
First time to Rome”
Look I work for a major airline and travel a lot I’m over 55 and know a good value when I see one. The hotel was fabulous! Spagna Royal Suite has an excellent breakfast service that was calming and delicious! The location was walking distance from all major tourist attractions. But what made the stay so comfortable was the hotel staff. Romina, Sara,Roberto,Johncarlo could not do enough for you. They were very knowledgeable of the area and were on call 24 hours a day. Whatever you needed they knew how to help you. Recommending where to eat, shop nightlife etc... language was not a problem. I highly recommend The Spagna Royal Suites and would definitely love to stay there again! Book early The do fill up quickly.
Spent three nights here over Valentine's and both agreed the hotel was located in the nicest part of Rome. All the well known places of interest were within comfortable walking distance and we had our best meals only hundreds of yards from the hotel. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful and our trip would definitely not have been as enjoyable without their input. We really enjoyed the accommodation and the unique style of the hotel definitely set it apart from other hotels we have stayed in. If we were to visit Rome again we would definitely book to stay at the Spagna Royal Suite.
Best Experience Ever Have”
This is our second time to stay in this amazing suite. Thanks a lot to Spagna Royal Suite that offered us an upgrade room to Royal Suite which have view directly to Piazza di Spagna. The room is big and very beautifull. The location is the best, just infront of Piazza di Spagna and all branded store. Thanks to the staff, they really taking care of you. Definetely will stay again in this hotel and will recommend to all our friends.
What a place to stay in rome, right near spanish steps, very near to Spagna metro station... What a great royal suite. Its pricey, have individual routers for room, smart TVs at room and what more, a smart phone to be used in rome with unlimited data.!!! Totally satisfied.. The staff was equally helpful, they provided space to leave luggae on last day and offered toilet facilities at checkout
From check in until check out staff went beyond their call of duty. They even walked with us , carrying our luggage to taxi rank as due to a bus strike and big demand ,taxis were not taking bookings. The quadruple room with sleeper couch was perfect for our family of 5. Comfy beds and crisp white linen. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. Best location , walked everywhere. Could not have found a more perfect place. Thank you spagna royal suites !!!
Our 2nd visit to Spagna Royal Suite”
We rebooked into this hotel after loving our first visit. The beds in Hotel Spagna Royal Suite are wonderfully comfortable, the service is good and the rooms clean and quiet. We still loved our second visit but the bathroom needs a few repairs, the tiles are missing from the shower base and the tap is showing signs of wear. But once repaired any new visitors to the hotel Im sure will be happy.
My friend and I have just returned home from a 3 day break to Rome. We stayed in a royal suite located in a separate building to main hotel, this was a 2 minute walk away, with views of the Spanish steps. The suite was beautiful with padded silk walls to two gold showers, the size was very impressive and every need is met, the only negative with the suite was the street below it was very busy with tourists still there until the early hours and then starting again from 06.30.....this however would not put me off staying in that exact room again. I would highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel for anyone wanting a central location, friendly and efficient staff and a charming place to stay.
Great location, ”
We stayed at the Spagna Royal Suites July 2019. There is no front reception as a typical hotel, you have to ring a bell and go to the top floor. This is a little difficult with suitcases, as the elevator only fits 3. Maybe a suggestion is checking instructions on a welcome confirmation email when the room is booked, that way guests know what to expect. However, once checkin is done, the hotel itself is very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good as well. The best part is the location. Super close to all restaurants, stores and sights.
We had a great stay at Spagna Royal Suite. The room was beautiful and uniquely designed and the staff were incredibly friends and healthy. It was in a good location, with walking distance to many shops, restaraunts and tourist sites.
Great team Great location Needs upkeep ”
Spagna Royal Suites is central and within easy walking to distance to most major sights. The team are all very helpfull. The hotel itself was a little hard to find due there being no signage. Also the rooms need some serious upkeep as there were certain aspects of the decor in our room that were shabby and detracted from the overall experience. We enjoyed our stay here but spent very little time in our actual room as there is so much to see and do in Roma.
Excellent hotel would recommend staying her 100%”
When we arrived at the hotel our rooms were not ready however staff checked us in and explained they would put our bags in our room for when we returned at 2pm. When we arrived back at the hotel they informed us they had given us a free upgrade - now when I say upgrade we went from a standard room to a royal suite in a separate building with the most magnificent view looking over the Spanish steps! The room had a living room, dining room, 2 showers, a bed that could have slept about 10 people, 2 televisions, minivan and the most spectacular views! There was a problem with the WiFi during our stay so as an apology the staff left a bottle of wine in our room, which was a lovely gesture but we didn’t mind we already had an amazing room. Breakfast was included the cheese omlettes are to die for!! The hotel was excellent and the staff were so helpful I would definitely recommend, perfect location, amazing rooms, great breakfast and lovely staff! Can’t wait to return!!!
Great Stay Overall ”
Pros: Great location, includes a standard continential breakfast, staff are very helpful Cons: My partner and I walked into the main entrance and it was stunning we were then told that I room was in a different building which is a 5 second walk which was quite run down and could have done with a paint considering the other building was beautifully maintained and were put in a standard royal suite which looked nothing like the pictures so I spoke to the reception and they moved us to a luxury apartment room which was a lovely. I would recommend staying here overall however I wouldn't pay full price which it is on the website defiantly book through agoda.
Stylish hotel located in a great location.”
My wife and I recently spent a night at this fancy hotel*****, we loved the unique decor of the huge suite we got, master bedroom with master bathroom, living room, and small kitchen...Everything is top of the line...you won't be disappointed. The location is fabulous; It can't be any better, one block away from Piazza di Spagna, boutiques, restaurants... If you really want to have an Experience, book this hotel. We'll book it again!
I booked for triple room in superior room, when checked in, they give us a room upgrade free into Suite....the location of the hotel is in the center of city, 5 minutes walk to Spagna Metro, neighbourhood are shops, luxury branded boutiques, restaurants and walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevy Fountain. Staff speaks English and are friendly, they even help me to make online booking for Vatican Museum...
The location is the best, very near to piazza di spagna and branded store.”
The staff is very helpful. The room is big with 2 beds. The shower is great. Definetely will reccomend Spagna Royal Suite to our friends.
Beautiful hotel, very luxurious, amazing breakfas, friendly staff, amazing location and price!”
The hotel location is perfect, tucked away but round the corner (literally) from many beautiful cafe’s,bars, shops and minutes walks from sights such as the Spanish steps, palenthium and Trevi fountains and the metro (everything is within walking distance but the metro helps travel quicker). The suite was very luxurious (definitely worth upgrading to the comfort room) and the breakfast was wonderful. The dining room was beautiful with chefs there to make food and drink on request but also the loveliest selection of continental breakfast. The staff went above and beyond to accomatade our needs and advise us. This hote was perfect for our first holiday as a couple and played a big part in making our trip to Rome so special. I would highly recommend!
Was surprised to receive a welcome email from the staff at Spagana Royal Suite informing me about directions to get to the hotel and if we require any assistance in advance. Very personal touch to let the guest feel welcome and important. Although its a small boutique hotel but they are currently renovating the whole building and soon more rooms will be available. Staff was friendly and always ready to answer any questions we have.
Fab Little Secret”
Loved the location and the concept. Our bedroom was teeny but for one night worked. The bed was comfy, the shower huge. Staff super friendly. The name is a little misleading ( Royal Suite), or I didn't check the site carefully as the room was not a suite - it was a room. Breakfast was good. I'd recommend a stay here.
Beautiful Hotel, location and staff were exceptional!”
We highly enjoyed this hotel!! Traveled with my elderly parents and this hotel was in the perfect location and very beautiful! The breakfast has fresh to order custom omelettes besides all the delicious items! The staff was very helpful and accommodating to all of us! The hotel itself sits on a very quiet and perfect location just footsteps to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain as well as the Pantheon and Piazza Novena. You are always greeted by the staff with such thoughtfulness! The hotel is elegantly decorated as well! We recommend this hotel because the special prices are irresistible and the stay is perfecto! This is our third time staying st this hotel and will return again when in Rome!
