Disappointed but did not ruin the trip, it was okay
For a trendy boutique hotel I expected a much cleaner place. There was so much black mold in the shower, it was uncomfortable. Other than that, the location was awesome! Right by a train station, Spanish steps, 3 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and grocery near by. Staff was nice.

overpriced and pretentious
We wanted a quirky boutique place to stay for our first visit to Rome...Don't be fooled by the photos of the rooms at this hotel! Our room was tiny with a bathroom so big in it, that we would have had more room if we had slept in the shower! Despite this, the aircon was woefully inadequate and situated behind the curtains. Consequently, the room was oppressively hot. If you used the shower then the room smelt musty due to no extraction in the bathroom. The hotel have spent more money on fish tanks in the corridor than on basic comforts in the guest accommodation. Breakfast was extremely poor, with no one serving and housed in a room the size of our shower! The food was low quality with little choice. We checked out a day early from this overpriced, gimmicky hotel. The saving grace were the hotel staff who were generally helpful, with the exception of one lady who insisted that our aircon was working fine, it was just a hot day., but would send someone to look at it which didn't happen.

Beautiful
My friend and I have just returned home from a 3 day break to Rome. We stayed in a royal suite located in a separate building to main hotel, this was a 2 minute walk away, with views of the Spanish steps. The suite was beautiful with padded silk walls to two gold showers, the size was very impressive and every need is met, the only negative with the suite was the street below it was very busy with tourists still there until the early hours and then starting again from 06.30.....this however would not put me off staying in that exact room again. I would highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel for anyone wanting a central location, friendly and efficient staff and a charming place to stay.

Looks better online
Staff, Location,
Good, but not great. First off, we had a difficult time locating the hotel. It does not have any sign outside whatsoever. Our taxi had to go around the block several times before we found the tiny writings on the door. Second, the lobby is located in the third floor of the building. Unfortunate because when we arrived, the lift, which only 2 people would fit anyway, was not working. Next, our room was not ready until late in the afternoon so we had to come back and leave our luggage in the lobby. It was a very hot day and the redeeming factor was that the hotel staff are pleasant and nice enough to offer us a cold drink. On to the rooms. This hotel has different themes per floor and we got a room with a high ceiling and a sauna! inside. It looks appealing at first, but after a while the layout of the room is awkward (TV acting as divider, sauna outside the bathroom, a/c taking too much space near the window, etc). The bathroom is too small, no tabletop to put your stuff on. The furniture and wallpaper are not well-maintained. No amenities in the room like kettle or utensils. Breakfast was very limited to bread ham/chease, cereal, cookies, and a couple of fruit. The elevator was such a nuisance that we opted to take the stairs instead. Despite these, we are glad that the staff are generally friendly and willing to go beyond to serve us. For the price we paid, we'd probably stay in another hotel the next time though.

Overrated with rooms that stink of a Sewer
Modern - looking hotel except the bathroom had a terrible sewer stench that flooded into the bedroom! Pillows were most uncomfortable! Staff were welcoming upon arrival, but thereafter didn't even greet you. It's like we didn't exist Definitely won't stay there again! More centrally located, with very friendly staff.
