Where to stay in Spagna
Spagna hotels & accommodations

Look I work for a major airline and travel a lot I’m over 55 and know a good value when I see one. The hotel was fabulous! Spagna Royal Suite has an excellent breakfast service that was calming and delicious! The location was walking distance from all major tourist attractions. But what made the stay so comfortable was the hotel staff. Romina, Sara,Roberto,Johncar...

Brand new Boutique style hotel. Very nice decoration. We stay 6 nights and all was perfect . New technologies, they even offer a cel phone free of charge , with GPS and free international calls. Best location 5 min walking distance from PIAZZA SPAGNA , TREVI ECT Friendly staff and excellent services . Will return anytime .

This is a great experience to have while in rome to stay in one of the old family palaces while they still live there. Place is amazing and location just a couple of minutes walk from Piazza di Spagna so very central. staff are very friendly and although reception is not manned 24 hours they are always on call. Definitely something to experience.

Got to Agoda through TripAdvisor. Seemed like an unusual name but was rated really well so we gave it a shot. Down a rather unlikely alley but nice front entrance. They sit you down in a small office to check in and bring you a glass of proseco. Nice. Lots of interesting and quirky art. We had a standard premium room which was nice albeit rather small. Fabulous looking...

Location was excellent as it is 5 mins walk to Spanish Steps, 10mins walk to Trevi Fountain. Shopping and food are readily available around the hotel (good location for those who love luxury shopping). We took the overnight train from Paris to Rome Termini Main Railway Station. Termini Main Rail Station has the Metro at the basement which brings us directly to Metro St...

Was a surprisely pleasant stay. We were impressed with the comfortable room size and the hotel looked new and clean with a modern design. Nothing too fancy about breakfast but we really appreciated the hot food selection. The best thing of Trevi Collection is its great location. A mere 5 mins walk to Spanish Steps and shopping. 15 mins walk to Trevi Foundation. 30 mins...

The service was immaculate from the moment we arrived, the room was a little smaller then we had anticipated but was beautiful and had everything we needed. There are lovely touches which do make it feel 5* rather than so many other 5 star hotels which are more like 4*, including the turn down service and the incredible bar. Definitely make an effort to have a drink ...

We stayed in a superior double for 4 nights in September. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and suitable for tall people (at least for 6`2). The breakfast was also great. The location was pretty good, only blocks from the Spanish steps and Piazza Popolo, and everything else was you would want to see was within walking distance, including the Vatican, wh...

What a sensational hotel - our second time at this property and again we were not disappointed. If anything the property has improved since becoming part of the Star Hotel group. Super location / great staff / well appointed and large rooms in the middle of room. 3 minutes to the Spanish steps and in an upmarket shopping area of Rome. Thank you guys we will be back...

I had no idea what to expect with my last minute booking My arrival on the busy street was greeted by a smiling staff member. I rounded the entrance my jaw dropped. The hotel was stunning. The building was restored in the highest of perfection. I felt like I was living in a magazine story. The bathrooms were lush with lovely touches of hospitality. The bedrooms were pe...

A lovely and charming place to stay when in Rome. Just by the Piazza de Spagna. Hosts are super warm , helpful and friendly. Room and toilets are very very clean and comfortable. Room was also large and well equipped. Sofa bed was not very comfortable though. Lovely lovely place - we will be back. Thank you for the lovely hospitality.

The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were great and very clean. The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance of a lot of sights. They accommodated our request to have our room near our friends/family that we were traveling with and even upgraded all of us to suites. All in all it was a wonderful experience. We will be staying here ...

We booked this hotel as it is located near to the metro station and attractions (few hundred metres away only to Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain). Unfortunately, on the day of arrival, we found out that the nearest metro stations (Spagna and Barberini) were closed and the hotel staff was super responsive on their website chat and suggested that we take a taxi from Ter...

The hotel is strategically located at del tritone, trevi and spagna are walking distance from the hotel. And it is very close to metro station, barberini. So in terms of location, it's superb! I stayed in room on the 1st floor, the room was a bit small, however still have enough space to open up my 1 large luggage, 1 medium luggage and 1 small cabin bag all together. ...

Excellent location: 10 mins walk to Metro Spagna; you can google and walk along the river Tiber to many tourists' popular spots, including Castel Sant'Angelo (Saint Angel Castle) and Vaticano Musei (Vatican Museum) Excellent service: The receptionist called Mirko demostated the highest standard of service. He patiently introduced the tourist's popular spots around Rom...

1. Super perfect location, just near Spagna metro station aka famous Spanish Steps, around by almost all luxury boutiques and bistro etc 2. Super nice service, host ladies are all very warm and helpful! 3. Price is very reasonable for such good location and adorable rooms.

This is our first time in Rome. We booked 2 rooms for 1 night. We had arrived early around 10.30am and we were glad that they were able to allocate us 1 room that was ready. The reception (I believe it is Mr Luca) who was manning the counter noticed that it was my birthday and we had a lovely surprise when the hotel placed a bottle of Prosecco in our room to ...

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel, location is excellent halfway between piazza spagna and piazza del popolo, with easy access to villa borghese. All main sites of rome at a stone's throw away. The room was a pleasant surprise, as well as the size of the bathroom! There is a nice rooftop terrace fro breakfast/aperitivo and a 1st floor area where you can work if needed. Hi...

I never write reviews - but I must say that we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent couldn't be more central, the staff could not have been more helpful, kind and polite. The breakfasts were a real treat and eating out on the terrace at a time which suits you in the morning was a great bonus. I was with my adult daughter and we both said we...

The hotel is beautiful, a real throwback to that Dolce Vita! If you don’t like your room you can always ask for an upgrade! They’re very accommodating.Only issue is the sketchy Wi-Fi. So if you’re there to work, you probably can’t work in your room as our Wi-Fi went in and out 100 times.

well, actually there are many things i have to say about this hotel .. i stayed 5 nights in the la fenice hotel and i had a well sized room on the first floor no:103.. the room is cleaned everyday .. good location and barberini metro station it takes two minutes by walk it's not far and also spagna metro station, the staff is very and very friendly and helpful. i've ne...

This hotel is smack in the middle of the action so at night it could get loud from the busy street and restaurants next door. However i managed to get a very good sleep. Room size is big, we could open 2 big suitcases and 1 medium and there are still space for walking. The bed and pillow is good for my liking. A lot of english and italian tv channel (who would watch t...

Friendly reception (especially Mario) and attentive housekeeping, spacious room, and the best location for shopping and sightseeing! If I go back to Rome I will surely stay again. P.S: Because Mario worked so hard, I asked him if he was the owner of the hotel. He said "No, but I work hard because this is my work". I was deeply touched by his words. The hotel owner who ...

Rarely submit a review, but it's not often I stay in a hotel where it's difficult to find fault with anything. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone thinking of visiting Rome. Location was right beside the Piazza Spagna and 250yrds from the Spanish Steps. Hotel was on the 2nd & 3rd floor of and old building, which may not suit everyone, but there was a quain...

we stayed in twin room, the single beds are relatively small. however, overall the room is very clean and the bathroom is very spacious (hot shower was fantastic). the hotel is walking distance to trevi fountain and piazza di spagna (shopping district). english speaking and helpful staff, but continental breakfast is just jam, bread and coffee (nothing more).
Cheap places to stay in Spagna

The hotel is located near Spanish Steps and Spagna station with easy access to Termini Station. There is an easy access to popular places in Rome. The hotel is quite hard to find, so better to look for house number. The rooms are clean and were cleaned everyday if you left the room before 12. Towels were also changed everyday. Breakfast was very good in the caffeteria ...

Apparently there are 2 properties attached to this one place. The “guesthouse” which we booked and the “hotel” which is 5mins walk away. When we checked in the manager said we had booked the “Hotel” which was confusing for me because all the paperwork I had said the “guesthouse”. He described the location and that it had been completely renovated so we didn’t argue th...

We had a great 3 days at the Hotel Eliseo. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a great location, comfy room, and yummy breakfast in the heart of Rome. There is the Spagna Metro at the corner, no more than 2 blocks away. That corner street also happens to be the Via Veneto ! It is a long walk from the entrance to the to the train itself, but it is all underground ...

Staff were helpful with the check in and arranging of airport transfer. Check in and rooms were at different buildings, but staff were kind to show us the way around and to the rooms. There was some issue with the shower head tho, can be cold and hot in some instances and the strength of the shower head was kinda weak. Overall, it was a great experience!

This is a two-star hotel masquerading as a three-star hotel and charging four-star hotel prices! While it has a great location in Via del Corso, very close to Spanish Steps and the metro Spagna, the rooms are very basic and could do with a make-over. There is no place to store clothes and the wardrobe is an open metal construction with no shelving. The bathroom is poor...

This hotel is great! It actually looks like a huge apartment that it was turned into a nice, clean and super comfortable hotel. It doesn’t have a reception (their reception and check in/check out are at Hotel Del Corso, a block away), but that wasn’t a problem at all!! Super good location, at one of the best streets in the city and a walking distance from all tourist s...

On the positive side: one of the best restaurant recommendations ever received from a hotel; transportation arrangements were flawless; and, the housekeeping was excellent. The hotel is in an excellent position and spotlessly clean. We stayed here for two nights upon our arrival in Rome and 10 days later for one night, prior to flying back to the US. We liked that the hotel was an easy walk (if you don't have too much luggage) to Termini Station for transportation, as well as several sites such as Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. The staff was also very friendly and helpful when needed. We woul...

Near Spagna metro and the Spanish steps, this hotel’s location is perfect for tourists using metro and train transportation. Main bldg is always full, but two annex buildings have additional rooms. They are clean and basic with no frills. I stayed in two different rooms and one of them was Ok but the other was rather small. Ok for one person or a romantic couple on a ...

I travelled alone for a week in Italy, and stayed in Casa Howard Florence and Rome Capo le Case for 3 nights each. Prior to going for my trip, Casa Howard provided helpful tips to me on how to get to the Guesthouses via email. If you are going to Rome by Train, the fastest way to reach Casa Howard is by taking a taxi, and it costs about 10E for the trip. Rome Capo le...

The owner couldn't get the room door open the first night, it gave us a delicious dinner for free at his restaurant across the street. Then he gave us the keys and we were locked out of the building late at night, so I had to pound on the door until someone let us in. The next day we had to wait an hour when we were ready to leave while they switched our room again. ...

hard to find, theres no way we would have ever found it if we didnt get a taxi from the train station. when we got there, the reception was locked and there was noone there, we started stressing as we couldnt leave all our luggage so we tried to call them which was difficult on its onw using international sims but as we were calling they turned up... never said sorry o...

we have stayed 3 night and we really liked this hotel! hotel location is perfect ! 200m from piazza di spagna very convenient to go anywhere ( we actually walk to most of historical monument from hotel !) hotel is very private (only 3 rooms)in high security building. size of room is big and very clean which is very rare in roma with this price. staff is very ...

It was our first time in Rome and we reached Roma Termini at almost mid night. Luckily, we managed to catch the last bus to the hotel. It was about 3-4 bus stops away. The surrounding was lighted up but a bit quiet I would say. It took us a while to find the hotel (actually we had already passed through as we didn't expect the hotel to be within another building). Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps is conveniently located 2 mins walk from the Spanish Steps and Metro Station Piazza de Spagna. The hotel have a great service especially Suraj where he helped us very much and very polite. If only everybody have the courtesy like him. We got the new renovated building and rooms and it was excellent. Unfortunately, our flight is an early one and it was a short trip too. We would likely to come back and recommend this place.

This is a good hotel, the location is excellent, being moments from the Spanish steps. The hotel is quite small and so are the bedrooms. I feel if you want a cheaper hotel in this location but still minimum 4*, this is a good option. I wasn’t blown away by the hotel though. The staff were all lovely. best hotel i have ever stayed in. staff all incredibly helpful and friendly. lovely rooms. great restaurant. nice terraced garden at back of hotel. good location in centre of rome - 30 min walk to vatican one way and 30min to colloseum the other. one minor gripe is charge for internet access - should be free at this nightly rate. just a minor complaint as otherwise abs...
