"The hotel is in an excellent position and spotlessly clean. The staff couldn’t do enough to help especially Alice on reception who was extremely welcoming and helped us with any information we needed throughout our stay. The restaurant staff were very attentive too! As it was a special occasion I had requested a nice room for our parents which the hotel provided. It was a fantastic hotel and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends. Thank you 😊 "

"Highly recommended. I was sceptical about this place I choose as it is my first time to Rome. Honestly, after my 3 days 2 nights here. This is the best location to stay in. The room is spacious, staff is friendly and location is excellent. The only 2 things can be improve to be perfect, 1) the check-out time is at 10am, it is too early! The usual standard check out is either 11am or 12pm. 2) the room can be equip with better sound proofing will be great. I can hear cars and trucks passing by the whole night/early morning. Lastly, all tourist spots such as Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and etc are walking distance from this stay. The only location you have to travel by sub or car/taxi is Vatican City. Even to Colosseum, you can walk and takes about 20mins. Overall, I would say this is a great stay. Will I come return to stay? Yes!"

"We booked this hotel as it is located near to the metro station and attractions (few hundred metres away only to Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain). Unfortunately, on the day of arrival, we found out that the nearest metro stations (Spagna and Barberini) were closed and the hotel staff was super responsive on their website chat and suggested that we take a taxi from Termini station which cost only about Eur6 and Eur 1 for each luggage which is reasonable. The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly and welcomed us with a warm smile. We booked a room for 4 with description shown as 2 single beds and 1 double bed but was given a double bed, a sofa bed plus an extra bed. Nevertheless, there was still enough space for us to open our big luggage and move around without problem. Highly recommend."

"We had a great 3 days at the Hotel Eliseo. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a great location, comfy room, and yummy breakfast in the heart of Rome. There is the Spagna Metro at the corner, no more than 2 blocks away. That corner street also happens to be the Via Veneto ! It is a long walk from the entrance to the to the train itself, but it is all underground which is helpful in the snow or rain. There is a also a small supermarket and a fancy wine shop not far from the exit as you return to the hotel. So handy and saved us a lot of $$. The rooms are smallish when compared to the hotels we stayed in on other trips, but we have been spending most of our time in Asia - specifically Thailand, where most rooms are larger than my first apartment ! The Eliseo had a small desk with chair, a comfy, cushy chair with ottoman, plenty of hangers and a mini-bar . This was much better than most hotels I could afford when I was in Europe before, and the people were certainly much more helpful. I messed up the in room safe, and the lovely gentleman at the front desk came up and reset it for me with nary a cross glance or hint of impatience. "

"We had a pleasant stay in hotel 55. The only thing I really recommend is to bring earplugs! The hotel is situated on a very busy street with a lot of noise (also during the night). The hotel does not foresee earplugs for their guests (which I find weird for a 4 star hotel & their situation). Otherwise perfect stay!"

"Near Spagna metro and the Spanish steps, this hotel’s location is perfect for tourists using metro and train transportation. Main bldg is always full, but two annex buildings have additional rooms. They are clean and basic with no frills. I stayed in two different rooms and one of them was Ok but the other was rather small. Ok for one person or a romantic couple on a brief stay. Annex buildings have no staff in site but the main building with a staffed front desk is only 3 short blocks away. Staff is respectful and honest but don't expect cheerfulness or empathy, as the hotel is frequently booked to full capacity. I got better rates by booking online than by talking to the staff.. Overall the hotel is very good for a short stay of one person or a couple."

"We stayed in a superior double for 4 nights in September. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and suitable for tall people (at least for 6`2). The breakfast was also great. The location was pretty good, only blocks from the Spanish steps and Piazza Popolo, and everything else was you would want to see was within walking distance, including the Vatican, which was less than a 30 minute walk. Unfortunately, the power went out twice and the wifi was spotty at best in the room. We also found the toilet quite frustrating - you had to flush, then wait a few minutes while the tank filled up and then pull on the button to stop the water from running, which was incredibly frustrating in the middle of the night. That said, the staff was very helpful. They helped us reserve a private transfer to the airport very early in the morning. Due to a marathon, the private car was delayed so they made arrangements for a taxi to be ready when we got downstairs to check out (we didn`t even know there was a problem yet) and we even saved a few euros."

"The service was immaculate from the moment we arrived, the room was a little smaller then we had anticipated but was beautiful and had everything we needed. There are lovely touches which do make it feel 5* rather than so many other 5 star hotels which are more like 4*, including the turn down service and the incredible bar. Definitely make an effort to have a drink here even if you are not eating in the restarurant. The staff were extremely accommodating and even sent a bottle of prosecco to the room for my birthday even though we had not mentioned it. The only change I would possibly make would be to have tea and coffee amenities in the room but this was a small wish. I would happily stay here for every visit to Rome."

"This is our first time in Rome. We booked 2 rooms for 1 night. We had arrived early around 10.30am and we were glad that they were able to allocate us 1 room that was ready. The reception (I believe it is Mr Luca) who was manning the counter noticed that it was my birthday and we had a lovely surprise when the hotel placed a bottle of Prosecco in our room to celebrate the event. This is truly beyond good service. The rooms were large and clean, bed was comfortable. Location is good, walking distance to the Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps and lots of shops. Breakfast that was included has a good spread. We were glad we to have stayed here. "
