Great spot but I would not recommend for oldies. 😕”
Very clean and very comfortable. Well within walking distance of town and with The Earl of Spencer (tavern) right next door. Being an older person who literally fell into the accommodation I just had a few issues........one being that the first step is immediately as you open the gate, I missed it and fell, and had no hand rail to grab onto, and also the bathroom is shower over big spa bath and nothing to hold onto there either. Not the best feeling after a fall that required a visit to hospital via ambulance. So..........having said that, as long as you are aware of these issues I would highly recommend the accommodation. Sorry Lynette and John if my review is not 100% positive but it is intended as positive criticism.

Very easy self check-in process. Less than 5 mins drive from the city. Short walk to the shopping strip at St Emilie Rd. Pleasant, quiet neighbourhood with free parking just outside the property. Very clean, and with a charming homely feel. Love that they transformed the colonial housing into a beautiful hotel.

Felt very cozy and at home at Spencer suites apartments. John the host was very friendly and helpful, giving us a few suggestions for dinner and other activities. We were able to walk down to the main strip for dinner, and everything we needed seemed within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this place to others :-)

Lovely weekend stay in Albany”
We loved staying at the Spencer Suites. The apartment was delightful and so convenient to central Albany. John was a wonderful host and we are looking forward to visiting again.

This apartment was a delight to stay in, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, every amenity and a real eye for detail. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was very good, just the breakfast was very very healthy, yogurt fruit with cereal, bread and coffee, and that's it. No meat no egg nothing. I'd rather pay less to not include breakfast in the rent.

I would reccommend the grey room apartment, the down side was the shower over the bath, the bath was quite high and would be difficult to access for older persons, also the bath towels were not changed on a daily basis, we had to force the issue by putting the wet towels in the bath on the third day to be changed

The attention to detail was impressive: lovely, comfy robes in bathroom, excellent cupboard space, electric blankets on the bed and tea/coffee making facilities. Every day the place was cleaned to a meticulous standard and the continental breakfast was delicious.
