    Nice overnight destination but...”

The facilities were good and staff were very helpful especially Jonathan. Allowing us to bring food is a nice change from other resorts. Our overnight stay allowed us access to the whole Splash Mountain's pools except for the big slide which was closed. The slides were great and varied for kids of all ages and the pool temperature were also varied so many choices for everyone. The only problem we encountered was the onslaught of foreign guests at 6 pm who stayed overnight at the pool. By 7 pm, they were already really noisy and I had asked the front desk to ask them to tone it down by 10 pm. They moved them to the other end of the pool which was where my friends' room was located and in the morning, they complained that it was really noisy. Worse was at 530am, as they were packing up to leave, I was frightenedly awakened by their loud cheers...not once but at least twice, not one after the other but with a few minutes gap just as I was going to sleep again :-( When I asked front desk about this large group of over 80 people - mostly kids and teens - I was told they were walk-ins and paid more entrance fees for the Splash Oasis pools (where people had hotel rooms). Could they not have done their loud shouting in an area where there are no hotel rooms or in their bus?! If I was to visit again because of the facilities, I would a) ask if there were big groups booked for overnight swim and b) if they have a refund policy if walk-ins come while we're already checked in. I can understand that they wouldn't want to turn down this income, but they should either just let them use the front area of the resort and not Oasis pools or have a Quiet policy from 10pm to 8am in the pool area right in front of the hotel rooms. I mentioned this when I was checking out and they were I hope they do something about this situation.

My stay at the Splash Hotel”

room size, plenty of rest rooms, showers for pool

The Staff at this resort are very lazy and inattentive to the guest and there needs, the night time front desk clerk seemed to not want to do her job and would rather chat with her male friends then to take care of the guest needs like being locked out of our room because they failed to recharge the card to get into the room. Also from the main front desk to the room is a choir by itself and you better be prepared to lug your luggage a long way as they do not provide a service to get your luggage to your room area.there were also many insects in our room from crickets to cockroaches. A lot of the place is run down . more eye wash than anything else.I would not recommend this place for the following information to include public transportation

clean pools, spacious room, value for your money

Splash Oasis is not hard to find since its near the national road. There are several pools to choose from and you can even swing by splash mountain without an extra charge. Our room was spacious and bed was reasonably comfortable. Overall, it was fairly nice. We would revisit the place particularly during christmas season since the water is naturally hot.

Weekend of swimming fun with the family”

The many different types of pools, the giant slides, the hydrotherapy I got for my frozen shoulder in the hot spring pool, the very accomodating atmosphere where you 're not charged an arm and a leg

It was a very nice experience where I celebrated my bday with family and friends. The rooms were very spacious and conveniently overlooking the pool so you can watch family members swimming while standing outside your room. They allow guests to grill food which is fantastic and people were swimming up to 2:30 am. The different pools offer exciting choices and the giant slides were really scary, an almost vertical drop which daring teenagers would really love. The staff are friendly and accomodating, check in and out were hassle free. Breakfast was good! We really enjoyed!

    Disapointing ”

The three people I went with!

Very disapointed, this hotel complex is quite old and run down, the pools were dirty and there is no restaurant. They have a lot of extra charges including the Jacuzzi for which they wanted 750 peso per hour which equates to $20 Australian which is completely over priced! This hotel is part of a larger complex of hotels and water park all at the same place and it is extremely noisy and busy. There is a central checkin office which is located away from oasis so you have to go there to check in and check out and is very busy as this is also where they issue day passes to everyone using the water park! Not very impressed with this "Resort", it really isnt one, it is more of an old water park in need of a lot of maintenance!
