An excellent location with great facilities ”
We spent a week in this hotel in august 2019 and had a great time. It’s location is excellent - 7 mins from beach, train station and main shopping street, and near to most main attractions. The hotel facilities - gym, spa, rooftop pool and outdoor jacuzzi were superb, a real treat and absolutely made our holiday! Design wise it’s a little more traditional and the bedrooms were smaller than we expected but overall the facilities of the hotel and it’s location more than make up for this. An excellent hotel - would definitely stay here again when in Nice.

Holiday in Nice”
Large room and bathroom with a large balcony and an ocean view. Nice pool and spa area on the roof with nice comfy chairs to sit and have a drink. Walking distance to the beach and the eating and shopping mall. Had one breakfast there which was a buffet and was very nice.

Cosy relaxible hotel”
I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The best things are they have bathtubs and a very good Spa and Massage. The hotel is quite suitable for women (travelling groups or alone). The location is good, not far from the beach and the train & bus station. The reception staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The room was slightly small and old, but there was a hair dryer, nice soap & shampoo, balcony, and WIFI. Unfortunately, breakfast was quite expensive, not flesh vegetable and the restraint was very cold.

Great Location, value for money, not so welcoming front of the house staff!”
The location of the hotel was superb. Everything was just a few min walk away. The facilities of this hotel were good. The pool was great, jacuzzi was decent (not very warm but not bad). The rooftop views are to die for. There was no central ACs, as they were installing a new system, but I only found out after a terrible night of sleeping in my sweat. It would have been nice to be warned about it earlier. However when I asked for a fan, that was delivered to our room immediately, which I highly appreciated! The rooms were very clean and the house keeping was of very good standard! The bar and breakfast staff on the 8 floor were very warm and friendly. The front of house staff, in particular the first gentleman with glasses, were very short with us. It was not welcoming at all and borderline rude. This unfortunately set the tone for our holiday. The same gentleman at checkout was very stale. I think he needs to learn how to smile and act more accommodating. The breakfast was decent!

Perfect for a city break”
I stayed with three friends for a 3 night city break. We didn't use the restaurant but did use the rooftop pool. It was really lovely and very clean. Fabulous view over the city. Decor in the hotel is lovely, not over the top but very welcoming. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would certainly return and was interested to see their sister hotel next door, Hotel Gounod

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely family run hotel with excellent facilities. It was ideally situated, only a short walk to the promenade de anglais and the sea or along Rue Victor Hugo to the main shops and square where you could hop on a tram or bus to Monte Carlo, Cannes etc

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are spacious and the staff are helpful. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing, great place to take a drink at sunset.

Goood location but room was somewhat substandard for 4 star. There was a crack in our bathroom ceiling, the bathroom floors were not mopped before or during our visit and the air did not work at nights. I had to ask the housekeeper to remove dishes from our room as she was going to leave it there and the cleaning standard was sub par.

Out-dated, over-priced, bad service”
We arrived late in the evening exhausted from a train from Paris and were presented with a hotel lobby that looks like it was built in the 1970s and never updated. Further, we were given a room on the first floor that smelled like smoke - it is important to note that we purchased the "master suite" - the room was anything but this. Outside of our bedroom was a public courtyard, the room smelled of smoke and we explicitly requested a non-smoking room. We were supposed to stay three nights and only spent 7 hours there, 6 of them sleeping because we had to get out and find a new hotel. The staff was nice enough to not charge us a cancellation fee of one nights stay, we obviously paid for the night we slept there - which was way to much money for what we got. Lastly, we did not like the location - too far from Olde Towne and the sea We also tried to check out and go to another hotel 20 minutes after we saw our room but the night staff was incapable of doing that and we had to wait until the morning for the day staff.
