OK For One Night”

we booked a "deluxe" room, it was certainly not deluxe. the room itself was ok - clean and very big with a/c, wifi and a tv. the bathroom was disgusting. the grout on the tiles was black and looked like it hasn't been cleaned since the hotel was built. having a shower was a depressing task! chumphon itself is only worthy of a stopover enroute to ko tao. there is not a lot there. therefore the hotel was ok for just the 1 night!! the staff were helpful. we accidentally missed our early bus to the ferry port and they let us check back into our room until the midday bus with no extra charge.

Lovely guest house with good location”

Nicely decorated room with balcony.Bed and pillow were okay. Room was small. The staff were really helpfull with tours and they had motorcycle rental also. The hotel is near the sea but you have to walk to beach 5 min.

Only hotel”

We booked a deluxe room which was really not a deluxe room. The room was big, but the bathroom was horrible. It looks like not cleaned for a long time. It was moldy. The staff was not very friendly and could not understand English. We could not recommend this hotel. I think there are now better options in Chumphon.

Nice hotel with good size rooms”

We arrived late at night and went straight to our room. The hotel is starting to look a little worn but everything is very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.We travel by bicycle which were easily accommodated .

Basic but quite ok.”

Just spent the day here after arriving on the train, spacious room, good shower and ammenities. Close to train station but not a sightseeing area.

Needs work”

Have stayed here before an must of had refurbished room which was fine. This time the room i had was of sub standard. Bright coloured room with water damage and musty smell. All that had going for it was the comfortable bed.

As we booked this hotel as one night stop over to Bangkok while we are traveling, we didn't have printed agoda's hotel voucher. The receptionist didn't understand a single word of English and didn't even understand the meaning of email, repeating the rooms are full even if we had confirmed booking. Basically, this hotel is not suitable for overseas travelers. After a long waiting, a woman was called in to communicate with us, then we could check in. The room and all bedding stank of cigarette. It was so stink, we couldn't sleep even though we were very tired after all day on the road. All our slept in cloths had stain of cigarette smell after. This hotel is just distgusting!!! The bath room was dirty and had missing shower which they said they will put it back, but they never did till we check out on the next morning. So, we couldn't even take a shower there. Also even if we booked and paid for 3 persons, they didn't want to give us one more complimentary water bottle and towel, demanding for extra payment. Felt really bad about getting to stay at this kind of place even for one night.

its a good hotel.. large room.. a lot of mosquito inside the room.. air-cond can't change mode because got trouble with remote.. its good for family..

To old, staff at reception very bad, no smiling no thanks. The room to old , the walls dirty...

the bathroom is huge but strangely the shower is stuck in between toilet and a wall over the drainage hole the tiles and toilet are old and dirty

Near supermarkets and restaurants. The staff is nice and the room is okay for the price.

Very spacious hotel in the middle of the city”

The deco itself is a bit outdated but they have renovated the bathroom so it was alright. Toilet of the room that i was staying in wasnt properly cleaned (saw some urine on the toilet cover when i first walked in) but i just cleaned them myself instead of calling for a maid cause i was so tired. Room are very spacious and the AC is nice. Good place to stay and hang up your scuba gears after a trip after koh tao and catch another mode of transportation back to bangkok. No elevators tho. So pack light or have fun carrying all your luggages up the stairs.
