Good Stay”
Away from the chaos of Khaosan but centric to all downtown areas. 10 minutes away from Sam Yot MRT. Great for backpacker who prefers own room than dorm. The room is clean. As my room facing roadside, morning was awaken by voices (people who started business in the morning). Overall, worth a stay.

Just alright”
Location is decent, with some eateries and shops close by. However, you get what you pay for and the room was a little dingy and run down. It is also a little far from the nearest BTS station.

Prices were different, so even though I paid extra for a superior room with a balcony I didn’t get a balcony. As explained to me by staff, there’s 2 categories of room. (1) superior room (2) superior room+balcony. Which was not made clear on the agoda website. Additionally bathroom was quite dirty especially the shower which had mould and gunk in it, so I showered in the sink for my 2 day stay. The staff were also quite short with me. Upsides are that the location was very good, however after living in bangkok for a month now I can say there is definitely better value for money options if you’re willing to walk 5-10 mins more.

Main attractions nearby.”
This will be my hotel for all future visits to Bangkok. Everything is in walking distance or a short ride away. There is a boat nearby which gets you to Silom area and major malls for 20 baht. Everything else you'd want to see in BKK you can walk to. Khaosan road is about 7 minutes walk as are most of the temples. City Hall and the Big Swing are just a few steps away. Plenty of very good restaurants, including some fast food familliars are all around. I especially recommend trying the local diners for great meals at low cost. Staff here is helpful and very nice. Rooms and hotel is being remodeled. Some floors show a bit of use but everything is cleaned daily. No bugs, didn't even see gecko. Rooms are big and have balconies. For me this is the perfect hotel if you are not looking for fancy pools and luxury. I will certainly be returning and recommending.

Good Hotel in great Location”
Simple but good big rooms. The bathroom is very good too. Good Shower and good AC. The mattress is very hard. To hard for us but for one night okay. I think it´s the cheapest and best Hotel in Bangkok near the Khaosan Road if you are looking for a private room.

Original Bangkok”
Stayed here to enjoy the sights and sounds of original Bangkok with walk to Wat puu kao tong possible even a glmpse of it's roof from hotel window. A lot of very large gold buddha statues on sale in the area, not modern shopping, Bangkok city hall and restaurants that date way back. 'Old original Bangkok' Not night life central, need to have some idea of what you want to visit in the area to make full use of the hotels good proximity to those locations whereafter very good for day trips. I would have liked a bar at the hotel to sit and reflect on the day tho there was some nice outdoor seating for coffee and breakfast.

Staffs are very friendly and always willing to assist especially when the staff offered to book us grab since we're leaving the hotel past midnight . The massage spa in the hotel compound is plus points. Bangkok City Hall and The Giant Swing is just a few steps from the hotel. Rooms are clean and well air-conditioned,.

simple,clean and comfortable”
This hotel is close to the Grand Palace, the Khan Road, the Democacy Monument, you can't miss it if you like the traditional culture of Bangkok and do not want to spend too much money. You'd better to ask the taxi driver to take you to the hotel for the first time, because it's not easy to find the site. Besides, the hotel is very comfortable and clean, the staff of the hotel are very friendly.

Great location at a good price!”
Arrived in Bangkok without a place to stay so I went on Agoda and found this hotel. It's not a major hotel so the taxi driver didn't know where it was. I'd recommend telling the driver to bring you to the Giant Swing or 'Sao Ching Cha'. The hotel is also acros the street from Bangkok City Hall for another landmark marker. The room was large; it could have appeared cleaner but that's all right. I had a good night's rest. Free wifi is a plus. There's a fitness park nearby. Sanam Luang and attractions in the surrounding areas are a 20-30 min walk away which I don't mind since I get to pass lots of food stalls on the way hehehe. Thee's a nearby fitness park for those looking for exercise and there are quite a few people using the outdoors of city hall in the evening too. I also appreciated the free luggage storage. It was nice to not have to carry all of my things with me the next day before movig to another place.

Comfortable room, good price for Bangkok”
Really good value for Bangkok. Room was good size and comfortable. We asked to change rooms because the wifi signal was poor in the first room. Hotel staff offered to change rooms the following day. Wifi signal was great in the second room. Taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is but that is common for Bangkok. Ask them to drop you off at a landmark such as The Giant Swing, which is only a minute walk away. Location to sites such as the Grand Palace and temples is excellent. Khaosan road is a 10 minute walk away, which is not far but the staff did not tell us this. When travelling around Bangkok, be sure to use metred taxis as the tuk-tuks are rip offs charging about 3-4 times more.

3rd time in this hotel”
This was our 3rd visit in this hotel all due to amazing location near all attractions reachable in walking distance (for backpackers) unfortunately this time the room was a bit filthy. This could be also because we stayed only for 1 night so we been given not the best rooms. Anyway still a good deal. P.s. bear in mind that for tuc tuc or taxi it was difficult to find it. Always mention city hall or kaosan road

Clean space in the heart of Bkk tourist area”
Basic room with a mattress and daylight coming in. AC is brand new and powerfully chills the small space. The shared bathroom is nice looking and clean. This single room is actually in a separate unit from the hotel which seems recently built. Staff is kind, coin operated laundry machine on premises. Phenomenal location, close to all the touristy stuff, but far from the noise. Would stay here again.

Good location and supportive staff”
The staff were very helpful. Location was very good; close to the Democratic Monument and Khaosan Road shopping. Had breakfast the first day I arrived but it was very poor for the price paid. The floor of the bathroom flooded when showering because the water drainage was slow. Apart from these monor shortcomings, the stay was quite enjoyable.

Basic, but clean!”
The hotel is quite clean. We were on the top floor, and had to walk all the way up, but we got to work off some of our yummy Thai food, so we were alright with it. It's a very basic room, but fairly large and that isn't always the case in Bangkok! It is located near a few temples and not too far from Khas San road. We didn't find it overly loud, though some people said that they did perhaps this is because we were at the back of the hotel rather than the front? Either way, it was good enough for us to fall asleep after a night out in Bangkok!

Great location”
This hotel was perfect for a budget trip to Bangkok. 10 minute walk to Khao San Rd and grocery stores nearby. Don't expect much from the hotel itself but the room was clean and perfect in a city where it'll only be used for sleeping!

Could have been better”
I was disapointed with sri krungthep hotel. The rooms are very basic which is usually fine for me but disgusted to find toilet wasnt cleaned as there was a floater left for me to look at. Water pressure is very bad, maybe the reason for the floater but unacceptable none the less.
