A very large, spacious suite- had a big refrigerator, an area to relax in. Was very comfortable, excellent location, next to ferry port and in front of the sea. The only thing we wished is to have stayed longer
See the real Koh Samui before you go!”
At $18 per night, it’s a great deal. Sri Samui is a very small hotel, with 8 rooms total - but there’s still a very nice on-site receptionist who will check you in and answer any questions. It’s clean, quiet, modern and very close to the ferry pier in Nathon Beach (Koh Samui West Side). I spent one night on my way off the island and was grateful to watch a gorgeous sunset, eat street food at the Night Market and hang out with local Thai people in a town that sees very few tourists after sunset. It was a bittersweet taste of the real Koh Samui, before over-development. If you want to taste something amazing, order the Pork Spicy Soup at the restaurant (without English translation) adjacent to the entrance path. The hotel itself is set back, in a secluded little nook, off the main beach road. Thank you, Sri Samui!
Nice spacious and clean hotel in Samui!!
Smelly room in the basement”
The room was large and the bed was big and comfy but that was about it. It was a dark, basement like room with two random doors that were locked, but seem to connect to the owners private livin areas. There was mold and the drain in the bathroom smelled awfully. When we askd for another room they were unhelpful and it seemed they knew about the problem. They applied a spray that was supposed to help the smell and covered the drain. But as soon as we had to open it to shower it came back. It was okay for one night, but wouldn't recommend it.
Cheap good value city hotel”
Set down a quiet alley the hotel seems to have to parts. The new and the old. I got the old part. The room was huge but a bit worn and grubby. A/C worked well and the bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was a decent size but needed a good scrub especially the shower head. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. This was a one night stay and it served its purpose well .
Very polite and helpful people”
hotel rooms charges are under valued in my opinion
Near to pier, nice staff”
I picked this hotel because it is near to pier, the hotel is room size is adequate but the bathroom does have odd smell as stated by some feedback. During the last day of my stay, the shower head broke off by itself without me actually using it and I have to pay for the damage, I did not argue much with the staff because the charge is reasonable and I do not want the nice staff to be penalized by the owner.
large and modern rooms in convenient location”
spacious, modern and clean room. tv with many channels, fast internet, good location, close to boat pier and local restaurants. motorbike for hire available from the hotel. highly recommended. would stay again.
very nice stay before leaving Samui”
When we arrived there we were the only guests there! The hotel is very new, so it was very very clean and everything perfect! The aircon worked very well, the beds were comfortable (not so hard) and the internet was very fast! The hotel is less than 1min walking away from the main street, so I enjoyed the silence there! Staff very friendly and helpful! Nice restaurants around that area! The hotel is only 100meters away from the pier office. To the bus station to BKK it is more far away. The taxi wanted 300 Baht! But we waited for the big Tuktuk, which charged us 20 Baht per person for the 3min ride. Happy to come back again!
Very good value for money, a lovely clean modern room with air conditioning. We would definitely stay here again as it’s so close to the ferry port and a two minute walk to the night market.
Spacious and clean room, free coffee and nice staff, a little bit difficult to find...
Everything was just fine”
I was going for Samui festival, so I chose this place because it's near the nathon main stage which is around 7 mins walk through the main road. It's more like a guesthouse than call it hotel, only offer the room and if you need you can ask for a bike rental or car deliver, no pool no laundry. It's basicly clean, but they didn't clean my room on the second and dropped my clothes which I'm drying in the bathroom once, besides it's all fine.
good for 1 or 2 nights”
the rooms are ok, but only have a smallwindow to a wall, like a cave...1 or 2 nights are ok.... but there is nobody at the reception at night, if you are unlucky like we was...not good at all.....they put a table in front of the rooms, there some tourist idiots, alcoholics did found eatch other, talked and drunk all night still 4:00 am, we could not sleep at all .....and they did not care about
A Hidden Gem ! ”
Clean room. Good shower. Cold AC. Friendly staff. Very fast check-in. Close to the pier. Really nice restaurant called Lucky down the street owned by a British man. Close to night market with great live music at the pier. Price was unbeatable. Doesn't have 100 people bothering you to buy things unlike chaweng area. Beautiful sunsets 1 minute down the street from the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on coming to or from the pier.
The room was just like in the pictures, it was big and clean, towels were changed everyday, the bed and pillows were really comfortables. I stayed there three nights and don’t have anything to complain. Walking distance to the piers, beach and shopping streets. They offer free bananas and instant coffee.
If you need a nice, cheap, clean place to stay in Nathon close to the Lomprayah and Seatran piers, this is the place to go! This is a no frills budget hotel. Simple but clean rooms, comfy bed and pillows, nice duvet and properly working AC. 2 free bottles of water is a nice plus. The wifi was free and actually very fast and reliable (a rarity in Thailand). And the front desk offers free bananas :) Loads of good restaurants in the area as well, and the night market and 7/11 are a 5 minute walk. The hotel doesn't really have any facilities to speak of… it is literally a small cubicle for front desk and several rooms. That's it. Couldn't ask for anything more for 550B per night. I'd stay again!
Great place to stay close to the pier! ”
Very nice and clean hotel close to the main pier, perfect when you arrive to the island and to catch the tours! Quiet area with locals, restaurant and street food with normal prices, this is the authentic samui. If you are a party animal this is not the place to be!
Best $25 I have ever spent on a hotel room ”
Booked here because it is very close to the ferry about a 15 minute walk. The room is very nice great air conditioning, lovely King size bed and a nice bathroom. Check in and out was very quick. The free internet was super fast. Will stay here again
Very good Hotel ”
I was 4 nights there with my 10 month old daughter. It was so good I really enjoyed my stay there, so I stayed one more night. The staff are very kind but they speak just a little bit English (that's no problem I think). The hotel is hidden but if you ask around everyone can help you to find. There are very nice restaurants around the Conor and the night market is not far away and the beach too. Very good location! I would stay there every time. Thank you!
Little guesthouse good for a stopover ”
I stayed in Sri Samui because I had to spend a night in Nathon pier to catch a morning Ferry to Koh Phangan. The staff was nice and the room was clean, and there are restaurants, convenient stores, supermarkets and souvenir shops around the area. The pier is about 5-10minutes walk so it's not too bad. The staff is nice too. It's a very basic hotel so it's good for traveler who is looking for only spending a night there. But they don't rely emails (maybe because I was writing in English). I tried to ask if they could arrange pick up service from the airport but with no reply, so I ended up booking a taxi online myself which works fine too.
