Take us back!!”
We stayed here for 3 nights in April we wish it could have been more but sadly we had already booked to move on. We stayed in a standard chalet, it was basic but the room was very clean, it had everything you needed and the bed was comfortable. It was great value for the location and what we paid. We loved the location in a quiet village, there are several beaches that you can walk to along the path which we had to ourselves everyday. The beaches we walked to were some of the best we have been to while travelling south east asia. You can also hike up to the twin peaks but we preferred to laze on the beach. The walk to the water fall was great we saw many different wildlife on the way and we had a swim in the waterfall when we got there it was refreshing. We also had never seen so many stars at night. Aisha and her family really make this place more special. They are very welcoming and make you feel part of the family. We really felt sad to leave. Also Aisha's cooking is AMAZING!!! She cooks everything to your taste, make sure you try the seafood, we had grilled prawns, crayfish and Malay style fish in chilli sauce. It is the best fish we have ever had and was so cheap, we had it two nights on a row. We would like to thank Aisha and family for a great stay that we will never forget. We doubt we will get hospitality like this again. If you are going to stay in Tioman make sure you stay here! Don't let the sea taxi put you off, it is likely you will want to visit the peaks and waterfall during your stay and will have to pay it anyway.. we regrettably spent our last couple if hours on Tioman on Genting beach, the beach was nowhere near as nice. Also it was just resort after resort basically all on top of each other. If you are looking for a quiet stay away from the usual tourist areas with great food, beaches, nature walks and lovely people you have to stay here.

Joyful stay .”
Tioman island is quite remote and isolated, but the scenery, especially the sea water, is very beautiful .The room we lived in was a traditional malay woodhouse , it was neat but sometimes i saw ants crawling here and there, the insecticide could surely resolve this problem. The landlady was super warmhearted and always glad to help, she could speak standard Mandarin, english and Bahasa melayu. All her families were very kind to the guests.

Great stay in simple bungalows”
We were a group of 7 people and really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. The owners took good care of us and cooked delicious food. The bungalows are very simple and the location is great if you want to escape from the noise. The closest beach is just a 10min walk away which we had for ourselves most of the time. Contact the owner upfront before booking as they offer cheaper packages incl. a faster transfer from Singapore, pick up by water taxi etc. I would def recommend it if you want to relax!

Peaceful, beautiful, authentic place! ”
As I arrived in Mukut after a very tough boat trip, I had a warm welcome from the Sri Sentosa'staff and locals. It was given me a very spacious and clean bungallow, right in the beach, with the sea view. Zhafran, the youngster son of Sri Sentosa's owner, was very friendly during my stay and take good care of me, making sure that I wouldn't miss anything. Mukut is more than a beach place, there is a dense forest to trek, waterfalls, and the highlight of my stay: the people, really friendly and kind locals. I'm so grateful to meet them and hang out with them. Be aware that Mukut is difficult to access and is quite isolated, but that's also what makes this place so unique and authentic. I'm so happy to found this piece of paradise! Definitely recommend it and is a must to come back!! Terima kasih

Don't choose this place.”
Damp and moldy room. Broken shower, toilet doesn't flush. Family run business but they don't want your business. Do not try to give any feedback, the owner does not want to hear any negative feedback. They will treat you worst. Location very inaccessible, you can't even leave early. Pick a different place.

Best place in Mukut!”
Me and 3 friends went here for a couple of days and it was a great experience. Sri Sentosa gives you everything you can ask for as a backpacker way out from modern society. Rooms by the sea with comfortable beds, ensuite with working toilet and shower and only a few ants in the shower during the night if you forget the light on. The owner Mr Zamros and his wife are the sweetest who serve you delicious food, they're very kind and social, helped us with transportation, organized a snorkeling trip, showed us how to get to the waterfall and the jungle trail to get up to the mountain. Getting to the Island and Mukut is harder though but that's probably the reason why this place isn't full with turists.

Best vacation week for reasonable price”
Auntie Aysah and Uncle Zamros did everything to make a lazy week in a real kampong memorable. We recommend them even for few nights or for a longer stay. Don't expect a fancy location, but it was one of the cleanest we've been to in SEA. Experience the local home cooked food, and make sure your swim with (but a bit farther away from) the rays. Our kids loved it. PS: Make sure you book a 'sea taxi' transfer with them advance.

Perfect stay with lovely host!”
If you search for a beautiful beach (actually 3 in walking distance), a nice and clean cottage and a peacefull environment then you should definitely come here! We also were at juara and tekek beach at the island but we had our best time at mukut! Aisha was the best host ever and can help you organize your trip (bus/ferry schedule, booking taxi boat...) and cooks delicious food. She made our stay amazing! There is also a waterfall you really should not miss! We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend sri sentosa to anybody who is searching for a relaxing holiday!

Just perfect”
In a small village, very quiet and cozy! Felt like in paradise: monkeys, jungle, beautiful beaches, waterfall, everything not far away! Aisha and ross were so warm hearted and nice people, felt like a family!
