Intelligent and friendly staff, good breakfast, best internet on the Phangan island, very nice and clean bungalows, good location.. not very far avai from Sri Thanu main street but just enought to spend quiet vocation. Good and clean pool.. Thank you for your hospitality and help for taxi and ferry tickets everything went smoothly. This was my second time in Phangan Akuna and i will definetly return in the future.

I booked this place, then needed to change the dates. I had a really hard time getting through. This was frustrating, but once we arrived and got settled, our experience completely changed. It’s very family oriented here (they have their growing family working on the resort). The beach and food are both fantastic and out of this world. A part of me wants to keep this place a secret ... but then I do wish this family the best in their endeavours, so here is my review.

I can sum up everything you need to know about Nice Sea Resort in one statement: I initially booked three nights and ended up staying for two weeks. As soon as you arrive you're taken in as part of the family that runs Nice Sea Resort. Mr. Nice serves as your caretaker available to answer any question you might have or assist you with any problem you encounter. As far as I can tell, this is strictly a family-run affair, and during your stay you will meet almost all of them. From his mother and (maybe) grandmother that run the kitchen and cook excellent meals and make some of the best fruit shakes around; to his father that handles maintenance; to Cow, the young Thai girl that runs around and keeps children to adults occupied; there's never a time you feel lonely. After two weeks I finally had to head to Chiang Mai to resume my travels, and as I shared my last Cheng on their beautiful beach, all the grandmother could say in her not-so-good English was, "You stay Koh Phagnan, Koh Phagnan." Trust me, I would if I could.

We came here not expecting much but were completely blown away. The bungalows are so simple, nestled on the beautiful beach some overlooking the sea. The hammocks were so comfortable and the staff so nice with amazing food. The beach bar has lovely drinks and the location is perfect close to shops,bars and restaurants. When returning I will not stay anywhere else. We went to a few places in Thailand and this was by far the best place we have stayed.

We stayed at The Beach Bungalow for two nights, we attended the NYE Fullmoon Party. The Bungalowes are located around 40 mins from HaddRin beach, this was perfect for us, as we didn't want to be surrounded by crazy party goers all night long! We arrived at the bungalows, and the staff were very welcoming, and as it was pouring of rain they quickly ran to meet us with umbrellas and packed our suitcases into their truck to take to the room. We thought the room was very clean, basic, but all we needed. We stayed in the superior bungalow, it has a small kitchen, a large king size bed and great A/C. I didn't like that the shower was over the toilet area, but this wasn't a mojor issue. The bungalows were right on a small beach, which was beautiful, quiet and serene this was 100% the major selling point for us! There are a few small restaurants on the beach attached to other hotels, they were fine, always friendly. Overall, our stay here surpassed out expectations, as I said, basic but can't fault it, and that beach...bliss!
