Great Location, Sweet Staff”
Hotel on the lower end of the spectrum but was clean, in the heart of the city, good WiFi and the two ladies at the check in desk were great. Have a really nice little coffee shop on the first floor. Same ladies that assist you in your stay make you really nice coffee while you sit and watch the traffic. Really great bang for the buck

Fine for money”
The hotel was fine for the money, and teh location was good being near the mall and not far from the bar area. It was quite difficult to find as it is in a courtyard off the road and not signed. Make for the bus station and opposite you will see a sign saying HOTEL at first floor level, and that is the place.

Perfect for my first visit to Udon”
Very pleasant stay at the Sritrakarn. Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Very good value-for-money for its price. No English signboard out front, but I recognised the facade from the pictures in Agoda. Just opposite a 7eleven and the city centre bus station, a stone's throw away from Central Plaza mall, a short walk to the train station and the night market - this hotel's location is very convenient.

Perfect location”
It was very plesant, the hotel was located in front of the bus station and it meant near to Central Plaza shopping mall as well. It was like an apartment,but inside the room it had clean bathroom, friedge, and bed, and the room was air conditioned, there was no noise. Down stair seem to have restrunt, near by is 7 eleven, ATM and place to get food as well. Great for transit stay from Udon to another destination.

Good location and service, but poor door lock”
This place ticks most boxes for central location, comfortable bed, and great staff. But the room is somewhat poor privacy and security - having a flimsy wooden door using a simple padlock from outside - not the best for soundproof or protecting against break in. Can recommend for budget travelers without much valuable items, but I will be trying another place next time in Udon Thani.

Nice, minimalist hotel”
staff was friendly and helpful. There was a miscommunication when I first arrived regarding my payment for the night (in lieu of knocking they just opened the door to my room and then apologized and shut it, and came back 5 minutes later and did the same thing, but the 2nd time asked if I was going to pay for the night. Later the dude at the front desk apologized for the mix-up, so it was all good. My room was small, but had the essentials. The adjacent restaurant was ok, I just didn't like how one day I ate there and was charged 35 baht and the next day I got a similar meal and was charged 40 baht. It's only 5 baht, I know, but I always get tired of the SE Asian "foreigner tax." Oh well, maybe there was a reason it was a little more. But, anyhow, the hotel was good, I wouldn't mind staying again.

Rooms are cleaned daily and linen changed No tea or coffee in room, I always take my own kettle Staff are really friendly and helpful WI FI not so good We have stayed in classier rooms, but this suited us. Eat and drink at UD not far to walk

F U need to stay for day or two it's more than OK.”
It's a larger, older rumbling place opposite Bus Station and 7/11 Market, 2min walk to Central Plaza Mall, near Train Station and Night Market. Rooms/bathroom are simple and small but for a day or two or three it's OK. "taxi" from Airport to Hotel 80B.

Decent Value Hotel”
My stay was good overall, I was satisfied. At times at night it was loud since there were dogs barking nearby, but the hotel can't control that...(unless they have a rifle). Just joking, dark humor. Anyhow, it was a decent place and near everything.

Great location and some confusion about extra bed ”
I booked a room for 3 persons via agoda and paid for extra bed from my credit card. When we arrived, the staffs there seemed confused about extra bed. The room was so small and I don't see the place for extra bed. Although the staff will provide us extra bed in that small room, we asked for larger room. We had to pay another 200 Baht to get larger room that has enough space for 3persons. The duvet in this large room was not clean. However, it is located in great location. it is close to shopping area and just opposite the bus station, where I need to catch the bus to Vientiane.

Stayed here once again. Location, location: Bus St., Train St., Night Market, Shopping Mall, restaurants, stalls. Rooms/bathroom are rather small but have A/C, hot shower, good bed. 80 Baht tuktuk to Airport

Deceiving photos, very poor condition”
No idea how they secured hotel status, photos are deceiving. The cables on the walls taped with black tape and looked dangerous, walls were dirty, holes filled and painted over, i.e. lacked investment, the owner could invest in plastering the walls and proper fittings for this to be a half decent place to stay. The towels were very used and old, the sheets were holey and dull. When we asked them to clean the room at 1pm they complained saying it is late albeit they did it. It is quiet after the karaoke and club music stops around midnight albeit impossible to sleep with all the mosquitos and two pathetic pieces of material for curtains which do not block the sunlight at all. We were grateful at least to have had a clean floor, no cockroaches and hot water in the shower. Location in relation to the train station is a short walk and easy to find but even so I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Good position, but run down”
no good experience. staff (male) not doing much but watching tv. we booked rooms downstairs less than basic. the men offered the 1st floor rooms (slightly better looking but not clean bathroom), but but we had to pay double rent!! hotel needs much repair and better cleaning.
