Nice old hotel in great location ”
Lovely old building with adequately comfortable rooms near to the train station and weekend night market. Friendly staff, very helpful. Motorbikes for rent 250b/day.

Better than the other guesthouses in the area”
I stayed at other guesthouses in the area, near the train station, and this one for me is the best. The staff is by far the friendliest, their cafe and restaurant is really good and they are always available to help you with anything, with a smile on their face. They are always in a good mood. I stayed in the guesthouse next door (Mitree) and they always looked bored and like they didn't really like their job. But the staff at Siritrang are excellent. I will be coming back and recommending to my friends.

This hotel is an old building but renovated. It is very close to the train station, so the location is quite convenient. The staff members are very friendly and willing to help all your needs. The room is clean and sufficient.

conveniently located near the train station which hosts the night market with a kind welcoming host Sritrang is an excellent choice for any traveller. the room was clean and comfortable. not fancy more industrial in style but for me as a solo traveller with a budget perfect. An important word of advice however there is a tour agency next door do not go there. I lost 900baht booking a taxi i didn't need because the person there convinced me I would have to come all the way back to Trang in order to travel from Ko sukon to ko libong. I feel foolish admitting I was so gloriously ripped off but hope that my experience can be a lesson to others. you rarely need to go all the way back to Trang to affordably transfer islands. save yourself money do not enter the tour office next to Sritrang!

Really great hotel with a cozy atmosphere! ”
We travelled with two smal children (aged 2 and 5) and the SriTrang hotel was a great place to stay. The family who runs the hotel was extremely helpful and gave us great advice for daytrips while in Trang. Great food and a really cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed staying there.

Wonderful place”
I loved this place -- it's got character and it's sparkling clean. I had a big room with a view of the train station, which was not loud but interesting to watch the comings and goings. I thought it was great value with AC and a TV and a giant fridge, after staying in many budget places that didn't have any of this for more money. The staff that runs the place was super helpful in directing me to the market and arranging tuk tuk rides--they treated me like they would a friend. It's really worth spending the night in Trang rather than just going straight to the islands -- a really authentic Thai town that's warm and friendly. Make sure you go to the kopi shop to the right of the train station -- it's charming and good. And don't miss the wet market a 5 minute walk from the hotel in the morning.

Solid budget guesthouse in a cute old building with character. Rooms are perfectly adequate with comfy bed, fridge and a little table. Perfect location next to the train and short walk to the excellent morning market. The adjoining cafe is very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the relaxed and quaint atmosphere both of this hotel and Trang in general.

one night stay ”
very friendly and the owner was very helpful, sorted tickets for us to get to koh sokran the next day and told us where to go in trang for a bit of nightlife, the cafe 1952 attached to the hotel served very good food and the massive bed was comfier than ours at home, shame we only stayed one night but we may pass through on our way home ☺

Great little Hotel”
Right in centre of Trang opposite Railway Station. Walking distance to morning and night markets. Close to restaurants and bars. Has a nice little bar/restaurant/cafe adjoined to it that serves good food and coffee and cold beer! Staff are very friendly and owner guy very helpful. Standard Rooms are budget...but comfy bed and good wifi and aircon and a few english channels on tv. I will stay here again 100%.

Nice place conveniently locate in a nice town”
Trang itself was quite a relief from the bro & tourist-cattle-abattoir of the Krabi region, and Sri Trang is a great introduction. It's near the coffee shops, near the amazing night market, near the train, and a cheap ride from the bus station. The tours they set up are still expensive, as much of Thailand has become, but you'll be in a far more local atmosphere. The rooms were clean, and attractively quirky.

Great hotel very well located in Trang. The house is beautiful and very spacious. It’s enjoyable to have a coffee in the lobby area. Staff is great and even though they don’t all speak English, they will try to help you.

American in Sritrang ”
I had an excellent stay! My room was #17 on the 3rd floor and all rooms on that level were WAY superior to anything on the 2nd floor, so if you have a choice, choose up! The 3rd floor is well lit by an enormous sky light and has lots of character. My room was large, had a huge comfy bed, 2 large windows that opened to the train station, and a cute bathroom with a nice western toilet and shower with hot water. The noise from the train station announcements might bother some people, but they stop at night and don't start terribly early, so it wasn't a problem for me. Air conditioner worked great and they had cable TV with 2 channels in English (21 and 22). The restaurant downstairs has good food and a nice atmosphere, but the staff seemed mostly annoyed, but it didn't bother me much. Location is good for day/night markets, ATMS, and, obviously, the Train station, but if you want night life, we had very little luck there. There's a place called Ben's Bar which is about 1 kilometer away and is inhabited by mostly expats who are now teaching in Trang. We had a lot of fun there and it was worth the trek.

Pretty convenient hotel. Just in front of Trang train station, offer scooter rental service, Cafe on 1st floor and close to many travel service agency. Next to night market. Double pillows, daily towels change. Great service and helpful staffs. But due to it's position next to night market so it'll be noisy at night (the musics kinda loud) and the bed was very stiff.

Feeling at home”
A nice cozy old hotel, family owned and led since 1952. The room was clean even the hotel is at older age. The staff was very friendly, especially the old owner, and can answer you almost any question. Stay there as you at home (like uncle always tells to make myself as your home) You can have everything from them except money :-).

-Friendliest staff of any place I had stayed in Thailand -Don't expect fancy rooms, but they are nice, clean and cheap -Great location next to the train, grocery shop, markets, etc. -They will get you fair priced trips to islands -I found them to be incredibly accommodating. (they held a bag of mine for a week while I was in the islands.) -Great inexpensive restaurant -Family run and very authentic, very kind people.

It was a fine stay. We were charged a higher price at the hotel and when I complained to Agoda they called and tried to fix it, the hotel agreed to Agoda to give me the difference back but they were trying to make me call mangers etc overseas, it was very difficult to try deal with and I didn't get my money back in the end. We weren't aware that they closed the doors at 11pm so luckily we arrived just at 11 and when I asked the man to open he was pretty grumpy with me which I thought was not so nice. Lastly, I saw on the website two rooms for the same price, the room that I got was A LOT older and less nice than the room next door advertised at the same price. I would look at staying at another hotel before I stayed here again.
