If your fussy about cleanness or a decent nights sleep this is not the place for you Very dated Wallpaper coming away from walls and chipped paint Dirty bathroom with hairs all over Dust damp cold Uncomfortable beds No facilities no towels 1 toilet roll for a family of 4 and no one to ask for more So if you have a problem good luck as you won’t get any help For 1 nights stay it didn’t bother me or kids but no more than that

Facilities quoted don't exist. No Bar, No Dining Room, No WiFi. It's dirty, tatty, unloved, and in need of total refurbishment. Found rubbish in a drawer. The room was dark and dingy. They had no idea about fire safety, all fire doors propped open with fire extinguishers. No Pat Testing of electrical equipment since 2019. Owner/manager couldn't be found to complain to. Booked in for 2 nights. Stayed first night due to late arrival but left next morning to find alternative accommodation. Ignore all their photos as they refer to the hotel under previous owners.

Not suitable for families”
This hotel us not suitable for young children.. i didnt feel it was safe at all.. we got put on the 3rd floor... the window opened right out and had no option to lock it.. very easy for a small child to open on their own and fall out!! no staff was around to speak to at night and the phone number for the hotel was not correct... people partying in rooms all night and walking about.. someone even tried to get in our door at night sounded drunk

I booked this hotel as it was within my price range, the hotel room is basic, but was clean enough to put my head down for the night. The TV doesn't work, there was no hot tap that worked. However the shower did work but just be mindful it does turn cold then boiling hot so be careful if you have younger children. For the price i paid i can't really complain. There is no bar and no breakfast at this hotel. Plenty of places around though within walking distance. Parking was just up the road at £10 per 24 hours parking alk secure by CCTV.

pace was filthy had to go steal toilet rolls and share out advertise bar and entertainment free Wi-Fi and nothing booking in from 3 pm till 11 pm guest turned up with 3 children and nobody on site so they had to find somewhere else to stay anybody can just walk in as no doors lock just turn up push front door and open`s push secondary door and the same bed linen every where again no toilet rolls in shared toilets and hole place discussing was a nightmare weekend if i could have afforded to i would have gone else were

It's what you would expect for the cheap price. It's old n shabby n needs renovation. Although our room was old it was clean. The bed was spotless n very comfy. Staff were lovely n helpful. It was OK if your only wanting somewhere just to sleep for a couple of nights. I wouldn't recommend it for kids.

Bad hotel”
Arrived at 3pm walked through door no staff, rang the bell lots of times and rang a number but not recognised, eventually a man came through front door said wait someone be here soon and toddled off with an hoover then a man appeared asked our names and if we had paid!! Said just cleaning the room ( omg) it will be ready in 10 mins, finally got in our room but very old fashioned, warm and clean, kettle and hairdryer, the toilet made a loud noise when flushed so had to run cold tap, something to do with water pressure I expect, left the following morning never saw anybody, had to leave key in a box on desk, won't be staying again, it's a shame could be a nice hotel if run properly.

Not at the st elmo ”
I should of been at the St elmo but instead they moved me to the alumhurst hotel on charnley Road they stated that i was at a better hotel (debatable) Please avoid that hotel I was in room 18 and both the bedroom window and bathroom window were broken and held on by towels heater in room didn't work and the toilet didn't flush the only positive thing was the bed was very clean
