Shoe box not a room
Extremely small room, window that hardly opened and no air conditioning. Not repeating that again!

Best location
It's great to shop and drop off stuff before heading out to the night. Lots of great cafes and bars are around.

You get what you pay for
St.Giles has a superb location with walking distance to many of the sights as well as to shopping along Oxford Street and night life in Soho. The rooms may be small but for a solo traveler they are adequate. I will certainly go back but may book a room without breakfast next time as I found the buffet a bit too crowded and noisy, and the selection of foods somewhat rich on carbs.

Good short stay in the city
Rooms very small and dark. Good if you want to stay in the middle of it all- but only for a few days. It can be noisy

This hotel is extremely outdated and run down. It's the 21st century and you still don't get wifi in this hotel. The rooms were super small and what was supposed to be a window was a small slit in the wall. Apart from the that, the location was good.

Great basic hotel with fantastic location, very near Hillsong church, would definitely come back
At first I was surprised that the hotel does not have air-con,but it turned out that with slightly opened window, the room was very cold and airy. It is a clean basic hotel very close to Tottenham Court train station and oxford st. For those looking for Sunday Service, there is Hillsong Church at a theatre just a few meters from the hotel (before the station). Just a handy tip for travellers with heavy luggages travelling on train to/from Kingcross/St Pancras or Heathrow Airport, take the exchange for Piccadily Line at Holborn Station (instead of Leicester Square Station) as Holborn Stn has a lot less stairs compared to Leicester Station where changing platforms involves endless stairs (a nightmare for heavy luggages).
