"Great location if you want park on St Kilda Road. Lots of offices around there but not much else in terms of touristy things to do. 15-20 minute tram ride into city central which is where everything is. Hotel was clean and modern overall. Gym looked good but did not have time to use it. Some staff very friendly, and other staff not friendly at all. Some staff forgot to give back drivers license and did not give receipt for bond upon checking in. House keeping did not make bed properly and forgot to replace tea/coffee condiments and forgot to change towels. Also there was no hair dryer which was surprising as we had a deluxe double room with all the other amenities? Overall would stay again and would recommend to others. Was very pleased with some aspects but disappointed with other aspects that were an easy opportunity for them to fix. Maybe just bring a hair dryer "

"We rented a 2-bedroom apartment, which turned out to be two separate apartments joined by a common hallway. The rooms and facilities were very modern and clean- I especially liked the 5:30 Happy Hour in the lobby for guests (drinks were complementary). Quest is very close to the American Consulate on St. Kilda Road, however you need to take a tram or taxi for the short ride into downtown Melbourne."
