Best hotels & accommodations in St. Kilda Road

This was a great boutique hotel, the rooms were big and the studio one I had came equipped with a nice balcony, convection oven/microwave, stove top, full size fridge/freezer, a breakfast table/chair and a VERY comfortable bed/pillows. It felt very spacious and stylish! bathroom was small but lots of storage cabinets. Oh and there was a cheap laundry room on the floo...

stayed here while exploring city and looking for around at what job opportunities there were in melbourne. each room is equipped with a small kitchenette, fridge, microwave, two hobs, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery, iron, ironing board, tv, aircon and small balcony. there's a decent sized gym in basement and a launderette room. it's on st kilda road about half way ...

Great location if you want park on St Kilda Road. Lots of offices around there but not much else in terms of touristy things to do. 15-20 minute tram ride into city central which is where everything is. Hotel was clean and modern overall. Gym looked good but did not have time to use it. Some staff very friendly, and other staff not friendly at all. Some staff forgot to...

We were upgraded to an deluxe room on the 9th floor and it was wonderful. It was a lovely large corner room with views over Albert Park lake and Port Phillip Bay. We stayed here as it was walking distance to a wedding reception we were attending in the evening, so the location was great for us. If you come on the weekend and drive, you can park outside the hotel and...

Thanks to Juliet for having us in your property. Really fast response when we have queries. The place was great.. although we have not had a chance to use the swimming pool facility since we have lots of places to visit while in Melbourne. Juliet provides complete amenities and basic needs so we do not have to worry about dishwasher tablets, laundry detergents, and eve...

We rented a 2-bedroom apartment, which turned out to be two separate apartments joined by a common hallway. The rooms and facilities were very modern and clean- I especially liked the 5:30 Happy Hour in the lobby for guests (drinks were complementary). Quest is very close to the American Consulate on St. Kilda Road, however you need to take a tram or taxi for the short...

More about St. Kilda Road
Alexander Gardens is known for its rowing sheds and magnificent palm trees, while Fawkner Park has public sports grounds. The Domain Parklands is home to a 15,000-person outdoor performance venue: Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Nearby, Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens are some of the world's finest and should not be missed. Featuring lakes, observatories, and the Australian Rainforest Walk, the gardens are home to over 12,000 different species of plants and a natural sanctuary for native wildlife.
In the summer months, the gardens host theatre performances and an outdoor cinema with twilight screenings of classic and cult movies. The historic Victoria Barracks are also located along St Kilda Road and, in March each year, the St Kilda Road precinct hosts the free family festival, Melbourne Moomba Waterfest. The magnificent Shrine of Remembrance, a war memorial and unmistakable city landmark, offers wonderful balcony views of the city below.
